尤其是现在的二手烟对人体的危害是更为严重的，比直接接触都为其严重，会对呼吸系统造成危害，还会导致外呼吸道的损伤，还会带来一些慢性疾病，哮喘之类，使发生肺癌的几率升高，也会对下一代产生极大的影响，对胎儿的发育也会起到阻碍的作用，会产生发育不良或者是畸形的可能性。

I attended Jacks birthday party tonight. After dinner, Jack gave cigarets to our boy students present.

At the important moment, I stop them and told them the bad effects of smoking: firstly Smoking is a waste of money and its greatly harmful to our health. And it can lead to fires easily. So we should not smoke at all.

But it seemed helpless and they wouldnt listen to me. Somebody even said that body and health belonged to themselves and its up to them to decide whether to smoke or not. I told him calmly, "Even if you have the right to harm your own body, but it doesnt mean that you have the same right to harm others."

At last, they agreed with me, and some students said that they would never smoke any longer.

For the next one hour, we danced and sang happily, and nobody did smoke again.I felt very happy that my classmate all understood the harmness of smoking.

But it has not always been like that. In the old days, it was a sad dirty little town. Landlords and merchants lived in the few good houses. For the working people there were only dark, unhealthy rooms in old buildings and huts in narrow muddy streets. Nearly everyone was poor and many had no work.

Everything has changed since liberation. The people, led by the Party, have got rid of the mud and dirt. They have put up schools, theaters, shops and flats. people to have a meal combining with breakfast and lunch. But their health is

order to keep healthy, we need to do some exercise and eat food regularly.

Whats more, the balanced diet is very important, as the saying that an apple a

day, keeps the doctor away, so we need to eat properly. The healthy lifestyle

makes us live happily.

As we all know, there are many people smoking, although everyone knows smoking is harmful to us. Giving up smoking is not easy but addicted to it is quite easy, that’s why there are more and more people smoking. Smoking and passive smoking is risk factor that leads to various diseases. It has become world’s top 8 causes of death. More than 90% of lung cancer caused by smoking and lung cancer rates of smokers are 18 times over the non-smokers. People have known that passive smoking also do great harm to human, too.
