我再来给大家讲讲关于我读课外书的一些事。大家都知道我是个书虫，我妈常说我不要看一些与年龄不相符的书。如《易经》，《资本主义的代价》《相对论》等。但彭老师及老爸却大力支持。于是我读完了它们。同时也给我带来了不小的收获和思考的深度。为什么这么说呢?读易经时，太极八卦让我懂得了万物的规律，六十四卦让我懂得了做人的道理。读《资本主义的代价》时，我懂得了当今社会的经济现况。读书时结合易经的道理，就让我领略到了更深层的意思。学习起来更轻松，读书，最重要的是学以致用，学了就会用。看书不仅要看它的‘“三部曲”更要看他的内在的道理，要“知其然，更要知其所以然”。其实还有一点，那就是要在学习时联想自己在以前学习或读书时的感悟就行。

As human beings, we communicate throughout our lives for various porpoises.

But just because weve been communicating for a long time does not mean that we

are always successful or that we can’t improve our communication skills. How can

we convey successful communication? Well, there are several useful tips may help

you to improve your communication skills.

First of all, listen and respond thoughtfully to others. You should spend

more time listening to others instead of boasting yourself. Some of us are very

egocentric, which means self-focused. If you spend too much time talking about

your own stuff, the people around you may think you are a tedious and annoying

person. So, the best way to do is to consider our friends’ thoughts and

feelings. Try to be a good listener, when you express yourself, thinks about it

carefully before you really say it.

Second, appropriately adapt messages to others. It is not enough to be

sensitive and accurately understand others; when your send out your message, you

pick up the best ways and respond to others to achieve your communication goals.

But it does not mean to say something that the listener wants to hear. That

would be unethical. Appropriately adapt messages to others means carefully

editing and shaping your responses so that your messages can be understood by

others and you can achieve your goals.

Last but not least, try to interpret nonverbal messages. As we all know,

unspoken messages can express powerful ideas or emotions with greater impact

than mere words. You should try to observe others facial expressions or

movements and give correct responds to others. You can see the emotions or

attitude from one’s gesture stops. Be sensitive and appropriate interpreting

others.

Most people learn communication rules from experience, by observing and

interacting with others. You can do that too, if you have enough patient and

determinations.

In the last century, the government carried out the policy of family

planning to control the increasing population. So most families have only one

child, but recently, a new policy has been announced and people can have the

second child. It sounds like the good news for the family, as the only child can

have a sibling to company. While for some parents, they seem to be not the

qualified parents. A boy complained that his parents’ second child was the smart

phone, because they lowed down their heads all the time. Many parents did not

realize the lack of communication with their children. If they want another

child, they’d better learn to communicate their kids first.

Communicating with others is a big problem in daily life. Some people are

easy to talk to oters, but some others not. When you want to talk to someone,

firstly you should find some topics to talk about, but the topics should not

included the privacy,such as age, marriage or wage. Secondly, pay attention to

your attitude that do not make others feel uncomfortable. Comfort is the basic

of communication. Thirdly, pay attention to your body language. Body language

can transmit much information, such as your attitude, manners or something you

do not realize. Finally, focus on your pacing. Dont talk too fast or too

slow.

Recently, I was so shocked by the news that a young boy died of violence

after his parents sent him to a private school. The slogan of the private school

was to help parents correct kids bad behaviors. A lot of parents choose to send

their kids here after they giving up educating their kids. The public blamed the

parents for not educating their children in the right way. There is no doubt

that the root of kids problems come from family. Many parents always force the

children to do what they want and ignore the kids feelings, so they will go

against the elders thoughts. Finally, the parents lose temper. The elder should

show respect to the kids. Communication can solve the problem. When the children

receive love and understanding from parents, they will be nice persons.

Recently, it has been reported that a boy argued with his father and then

he left home and the policed found him, taking him home after half a month. It

sounds so ridiculous for the boy to leave home for such a long time, but

thinking further, the lack of communication between the father and the son makes

this joke. There always some people wonder why we need to get higher education,

because we may not earn money as much as the workers. In my opinion, the purpose

of education is not for the money, but for the better person we will become. If

the father knows how to communicate with his son and his son is considerate,

then things wouldn’t become so bad. We need receive education and become the

wise person, so we can communicate better and create a harmonious

environment.

Recently, I have been reading a book named Communication Arts. In this

book, the author Doctor Li introduces many methods to communicate with others

successfully and tells readers why everyone should be a polite person. My

favorite sentence in this book is “Everyone has potential, and everyone can

determine your own future by developing positive psychological, mastering

communication arts and showing your personality charm. In that way, you can have

a wonderful life!”

During whole sections, this book tells us human should live in a large

group, since people can’t solve all problems by their own. For that matter,

human beings should learn a series of manners to deal with any situation which

might happen wherever and whenever. After that, Doctor Li makes a point that

people need to realize how to resolve disagreements between friends, families or

colleagues. There always appears this kind of situation in social life, so it’s

important to understand how to settle it. Finally he teaches us that

communication techniques not only reflect in normal talk but also within body

languages.

In each part of the book, the author takes a large number of examples in

daily life to confirm his points. These examples in daily life are easy to

understand and accept.

After reading the book, I find many shortages of my communication skills. I

used to lack of patience when I talk to others, even got mad at them. This was

impolite and might destroy relationships between my friends and me. Therefore I

would try my best to improve myself and be welcome.

Once, I talked to the foreign people, he was staring at me all the time,

which made me feel not comfortable, so I chose to avoid his eyes and kept a

little distance from him. When I talked about this problem to my foreign

teacher, she told me that it was natural for them to look at you during

communication, which meant respect. While in China, people do the opposite

thing. They try to avoid eye-contact, because it is not eased to look at each

other. The different culture sometimes creates distance. The foreigners always

feel strange when they look at Chinese people’s eyes and every time when they

want to come closer to hear more clearly, Chinese people will walk away. So the

more we learn about the culture, the more we know about the world.

Clearly if we are to participate in the society in which we live we must

communicate with other people.

A great deal of communicating is performed on a person-to-person basis by

the simple means of speech.

If we travel in buses, buy things in shops, or eat in restaurants, we are

likely to have conversations where we give information or opinions, receive news

or comment, and very likely have our views challenged by other members of

society.

Face-to-face contact is by no means the only form of communication and

during the last two hundred years the art of mass communication has become one

of the dominating factors of contemporary society.

Firstly, inventiveness has led to advances in printing, telecommunications,

photography, radio and television.

Secondly, speed has revolutionized the transmission and reception of

communications so that local news often takes a back seat to national news,

which itself is often almost eclipsed by international news.

No longer is the possession of information confined to a privileged

minority.

In the last century the wealthy man with his own library was indeed

fortunate, but today there are public libraries.

Forty years ago people used to flock to the cinema, but now far more people

sit at home and turn on the TV to watch a program that is being channeled into

millions of homes.

Communication is no longer merely concerned with the transmission of

information.

The modern communication industry influences the way people live in society

and broadens their horizons by allowing access to information, education and

entertainment.

The printing, broadcasting and advertising industries are all involved with

informing, educating and entertaining.

Although a great deal of the material communicated by the mass media is

very valuable to the individual and to the society of which he is a part, the

vast modern network of communications is open to abuse.

However, the mass media are with us for better, for worse, and there is no

turning back.

Communication is common and important in our daily life. All of us live

with others in the society and no one can live cut off from it. Everyday, we

must talk to others to give and get information, but how can we communicate with

others? Some people claim that they don’t know what to say and how to speak to

others, strangers especially. I think first you should find a topic that both of

you are interested in. Then, pay attention to your manners, speed, pitch,

expressions and your body language. You should make others feel comfortable, so

that they are willing to talk to you. Last but not the least, being a good

listener. Listening to others shows your respect to them. Only when they heard,

they want to talk. So do you. Before you talk, listening to others first.

Communication is the activity of conveying information through the exchange

of thought, messages, or information. There are many communicating methods, such

as speech, visuals, signals, writing or body languages.

It plays an important role in social lives of human beings, which some

people consider that it’s the basic of human existence.

On the one hand, it’s the communication that spreads information, making us

know the news although it’s far from us. By communicating with others, people

send and get information that helps us know about our surroundings. We all know

that information is extremely important in our lives. On the other hand,

communication builds personal relationship, which connects different people

together. We live in the same society which makes personal relationship

essential in lives. Only with communication can we build and keep good personal

relationships with others. In addition, communication can eliminate

misunderstandings and promote emotions. When we have misunderstandings with

others, timely communicating is the only effective way to solve it.

In short, communication is essential to all people that everyone should

realize that. Therefore, we should learn how to communicate with other

新年已经过去了，但是在过新年的那一段时间里，我做了一件有意义的事儿：你就是找年味儿。以前过新年，我认为十分平常，因为每一年都是这样过的。正是因为人们有这种思想，年味越来越淡了，所以我今天去寻找年味儿。

记得大年三十的晚上，我经不住瞌睡虫的诱惑没看几会儿春节联欢晚会，就睡着了。正当我睡得正香时，“啪啪！啪啪！”的声音把我吵醒了，我一看手表，原来十二点整了，都在放烟花呢！哦，原来放烟花儿就是年味儿。

新年了，当然要穿新衣服，爸爸带着我和妈妈去了开太百货，为我买了一件运动服，为老爸挑了一件衬衫，为老妈也买了一件大衣。商场里的人真多呀！每个人手里都大包小包的，有的甚至拿也拿不过来，而且商场里的东西真是琳琅满目，真叫人眼花缭乱啊！原来，购物就是年味儿。

在车水马龙的街道上，有着鲜艳的大红灯笼。我们一家去了菜篮子里。哇塞，龙虾四百多元一斤呢，真是贵哦！我连忙拉着老爸的衣服走开。对以我一个小学生来说，已经是天价了，这些菜之所以这么贵，一定是大家像炒房一样炒起来的。原来，摆正月酒就是年味儿。

年味其实不用刻意去寻找，在乡下，在城市，到处一片热闹的景象，人山人海。年味儿不是很好找吗？是啊，年味儿无处不在。

“爆竹声声辞旧岁，欢欢喜喜迎新年”，新的一年又到啦！又有压岁钱喽！哦耶！

其实新年的风俗有许多：贴窗花、贴对联、贴福字、迎接新年、穿新衣服、拜年……叽哩呱啦一大堆。也许有人会问：“咦！怎么贴的都是红色的呢？”因为红色象征和平，美好，你总不能够贴黑、白两色吧！

过新年之前，妈妈早早地就起床打扫卫生了，人们坚信，新年进入人们家中，一定要整洁、干净，新年才会高兴。

爸爸从车上拖下几袋年货，我马上跑过去帮忙，年货搬完了，我就准备去贴对联、窗花和福字，我总算有一项像样的活了。拿对联，搬凳子，拿胶水……忙得热火朝天，不亦乐乎。

除夕夜，许多海外学子回到家乡。这不，你看新闻上，电视上，想回家又买不到车票的人抱怨道：“等死也买不到票！”为此，坐“霸王车”的人那是相当的多，火车站到处都是人，挤得水泄不通。

我们是在外婆家过的年，晚饭快要开始了，二表哥一声令下：“兄弟们！准备好！开始放炮！”“啪！啪！啪！”三表哥抽出一个鞭炮，往盒上一搓，悄悄扔到表姐那边，装着若无其事的样子。“砰！”“救命啊！谁扔的？”表姐尖叫起来。三表哥和我们哈！哈！大笑。“原来你也这么胆小啊！”

新年趣事多，大人们忙着接待客人，小孩子忙着玩。我爱新年，祝大家新年快乐！

在我们每个小朋友的心里，过新年是非常快乐的，让我们来看看春节有哪些高兴的事情。新年的时候每个亲戚都会回到家吃一回团圆饭。

新年我们可以放花炮和吃年糕，新年是我们小孩子的乐园因为新年的时候都会收到压岁钱，还有新衣穿。

新年还可以到自己的家乡去看看外公和外婆，还可以到别的地方去旅行。今天，我和爸爸妈妈去姥姥家过新年，一进门，只见姨们早已做了许多可口的饭菜。随后，客人们也纷纷来了，我和爸爸妈妈热情的招待客人坐下，大家坐下后，便开始聊天。不一会儿，香气扑鼻的饭菜便端上了桌。大家品尝着一道道美味可口的菜，边吃边聊，大饱口福。吃完年夜饭后，大家一快儿出去放烟火，迎接新年的到来。只见那些烟火形状各异，大小不同，有的低，有的高，有的聚，有的散；它们的颜色五彩缤纷，红的，黄的，绿的，蓝的。瞧！那无数火星冲出来，“真美”我情不自禁地赞叹道。这里的烟雾还未散去，那里又开始“噼噼啪啪”响起来，那声音震耳欲聋。接着。一根“彩带”冲向天空，好像美丽动人的仙女在天空中播洒一朵朵美丽的鲜花。“彩带”散去后，那星星点点的火花落了下来，就像一颗颗星星在像我眨眼睛，它们好像在对我说：“新年快乐！“那一束束火花照耀着大地，让我觉得烟火是那的美丽。

烟火放完了，我却还陶醉在那快乐的海洋中。小朋友们你喜欢新年吗？我可是收了许多压岁钱，你呢？

周五这天，妈妈就要开家长会了，我本来可以在家玩个痛快了，可是班主任党老师昨天放学的时候对我和其他几个考高分的同学说：“你们这次考得分数挺高的，今天晚上写发言稿，写自己怎样考高分，明天开家长会的时候带到学校来发言。”我听到这个消息高兴的心情一下子没有了，甚至有点紧张。

中午吃完饭，党老师让大家收拾书包，在外边站队，大家走后，我们几个发言的同学留在教室里打扫卫生，等党老师回来我们已经把地打扫的干干净净，黑板也摖的一尘不染，党老师让我们把作业本发了，还给黑板上画了几朵漂亮的花，一切准备好后，我们练了练稿子，家长们便陆续来了，开会的时间到了，党老师宣布家长会开始。语文，英语，科学老师们分别在讲台上讲了两个多小时后，就轮到我们发言了。

主持人郭子博在台上说：“第一位，有请李玉卓上台发言。”只见李玉卓大方的走上讲台，给大家分享了她的学习方法。就要轮到我了，我前面是刘佳昊，他讲完后赶紧冲出教室，说道：“要尿裤子了，要尿裤子了！。”一边说一边急忙朝厕所冲去，结果不小心摔了一跤。我不禁和大家都笑了。刚有点放松，就听到郭子博说：“下一位，有请龚文博闪亮登场。”他的话音刚落，我的心儿怦怦的跳起来，我强作镇定走上讲台，站在讲台上，腿一直发抖，毕竟这是我第一次在这么多家长面前发言啊！但我最终慢慢放松下来，拿出昨天写的发言稿，大声地讲了起来，不一会我就讲完了。台下响起了热烈的掌声。

谢谢党老师让我参加这次家长会的发言，虽然没能像其他同学一样留在家里玩，但是让我得到了一次锻炼的机会。
