走进大门，右手边有一棵大桂树。听老师说，这棵桂树在这里生长已经有几十年了。每年中秋节过后，桂花盛开了，虽然只有米粒般大小，淡黄淡黄的，却散发出浓浓的香气。从这儿走过的每一个人，都会情不自禁地停下来，做几个深呼吸。我们坐在几十米远的教室里，也能闻到那沁人心脾的香气。下课的时候，很多的小朋友来到桂树下捡桂花，他们把桂花放进口袋里，放进书包里，人也就变香了。

再往上走几步，就来到了竹林。竹子有大的、小的、高的、矮的，苍翠欲滴。许多小鸟在竹林里安家落户，它们每天早上叽叽喳喳叫个不停，好像在说：“早上好，同学们。”

再登上十几个台阶，就来到我们学校最美的地方——花坛。花坛的整体像一朵巨大的十字形花，中间的圆形小花坛是这朵巨型十字花的花芯，周围有四个小花坛，是这朵巨型十字花的花瓣。花坛里有杜鹃花、月季花、玫瑰花、茶花、紫薇花……还有许许多多我说不出名儿的花。四季鲜花不断，一种花还没谢另一种花又开了。我最喜欢的是秋天里盛开的紫薇花，同一株紫薇树上有几种不同颜色的花朵：粉白色的，淡紫色的，蓝紫色的，粉红色的，有趣极了。

操场的北、东、南三面各有一栋教学楼。我们班的教室就在正东的那栋楼。
