Halloween

Halloween always falls on 31 October. It’s a holiday for children. On that day, children always wear fancy clothes and masks. And then, they go from house to house to say “Trick or Treat”, so that people will treat them with candies. If they don’t receive any candies, they’ll play a trick on people. But sometimes if the people are going out, when the children come, they’ll put the candies in a carved pumpkin lanterns. Children will take the candies themselves. Halloween is an autumn holiday that Americans celebrate every year. It means "holy evening," and it comes every October 31, the evening before All Saints Day. However, it is not really a church holiday, it is a holiday for children mainly.

Every autumn, when the vegetables are ready to eat, children pick large orange pumpkins. Then they cut faces in the pumpkins and put a burning candle inside. It looks as if there were a person looking out of the pumpkin! These lights are called jack-o-lanterns, which means "Jack of the lantern".

The children also put on strange masks and frightening costumes every Halloween. Some children paint their faces to look like monsters. Then they carry boxes or bags from house to house. It is known to everyone:Oct,1st is our National Day.At this day I went to

street and saw something.Now I will tell you!

At 8:00 I got up and went bus station with my mother .O my god there were

so many people!With difficult we got up the bus and felt very crowed.the traffic

I study in No.1 Primary School of my city. I usually do sports in school.

Every winter, we have a sports meeting. It’s the most exciting time in the whole

year. Last year, I got the No.1 in running. In daily life, I like running,

playing table tennis. They are good for my health. And doing sports is really

funny. I like sports.

Though PE class is a part of children’s education, many teenagers didn’t

form the habit of doing exercise, they don’t have interest in sports. Enthusiasm

for sports is of great importance, young people should treat it as their

integral part of education.

On the one hand, promoting enthusiasm for sports among teenagers helps them

keep a healthy lifestyle. In the school, students are forced to take exercise in

the PE class, they need to join certain activities. In this way, students live

in a healthy lifestyle, they won’t get sick easily. But after they leaving

school, no one forces them to do so, so they are lazy to take exercise, their

bodies gets weaker.

On the other hand, the enthusiasm for sports can help students enhance

their sense of teamwork. As we known, most sports need more than one person to

do, like badminton and table tennis, these sports needs more than two people.

When students are playing badminton, they need to cooperate, so that they can

defeat others, if they just keep an eye on themselves, they game can’t be

played. Doing these sports will bring students the sense of teamwork, which is

important for their career.

People should keep the habit of taking exercise, the sound body ensures

better future. Enthusiasm for sports can make people feel it a happiness to take

If you ask me what is the most precious, I would say that it’sTime. Time

is something once lost, you could never have again. Therefore, we should cherish

it and spend it in meaningful things. However, many people do too many

meaningless things to kill their time, such as playing computer, watching TV, or

gossiping. When you do these things, the time has long been unwittingly flowed

away. In my opinion, the best way to make full use of time is planning your time

rationally and sticking the plan firmly. Spending more time on something

significant not only will make your life fulfilling, but also will give you a

sense of accomplishment. Instead, killing your time with meaningless things

would bring you depression even despair. Remember that those who abandon time

will be also abandoned by time.

Today was Saturday, early in the morning, I woke up and stayed at home the

whole morning to watch TV. After finishing my lunch, I had nothing to do, so I

decided to call my friends out. I headed to the coffee shop which was near a

square. There were a lot of people in the square, some women were dancing and

singing, while some men were taking the chess. I walked into the coffee shop,

chose a table which was near the window, so that I could see the outside

scenery. When my friends came, we talked happily, we shared the things that

happened during these days. Then all my pressure was relieved, I forgot about

the annoyance on my study. At that moment, I was enjoying theTimetalking with

my friends. I had the great time this afternoon.

Today is Saturday, my father is off work, he doesn’t need to work in the

extra hour, so he decides to take me to the park and have a picnic. I play many

games in the park, my father is really happy to play games with me. When the sun

is almost gone, it isTimefor us to go home, I am so happy today, I enjoy the

time spend with my father.

As a middle school student, I dont have much freeTime, but I still have a

lot of things to do. I like listening to music and reading, so in my free time,

always go to swimming after school. Exercises help me to keep healthy and do
