The first major wall was built during the reign of the First Emperor, the main emperor of the short-lived Qin dynasty. Welcome to our school! Our school is the key middle school in this city. Now we are in the front gate. Entry in this school, you can see there is a big football playground on the left and a big resturant on the right. If you’re hungry, you can have something good in there. The grand teaching building is right behind the football playground. We spend most time in the classrooms. Behind the teaching building, there is a little lake with many fish in it. Oh, there is also a nice library next to the lake. After the class, we can entry the library freely to read the books we like. This is our school. Don’t you think it’s great?

欢迎来到我们学校! 我们中学是这所城市的重点中学。现在我们来到了学校的正大门。进入到这所学校,你可以看到在校园的左边有个很大的足球场,右边有个很大的餐厅。如果你饿了,你可以去餐厅吃些好吃的东西。巨大的教学楼就在足球场后面。我们的大多数时间都待在教室里。在教学楼后面,有个小小的湖泊,很多鱼在水里游。噢,对了,小湖泊的旁边还有个图书馆。下课的时候,我们可以进去读自己喜欢的书籍。这就是我们的学校。你不认为这很棒吗?

世界上有一座并不华丽的建筑，在每一个人的印象中，它并不是家，它的名字叫“学校”。它类似于家，却是一个比家更大的地方，在这里我们可以收获快乐，可以收获友情，更多的收获是老师的关爱，有这样一个地方让你生活，你应该是快乐的。

我们班有这样7位活泼可爱的老师，最先介绍我们的大班主任，她是我们的年级主任，每天见到她总是很有活力。每天在激励这我们这帮小孩，虽然有时候她会生气，但是我们知道她是关心我们，有她的陪伴我们感觉到很安全，很幸福。下面介绍我们的小班主任，他是我们的数学老师，人长得很帅，又很关心我们，大班主任不在的时候，是他陪在我们身边，我们觉得很开心。第三个要介绍的就是我们可爱的英语老师，我们英语老师人长得漂亮，英语又很好，我们很喜欢她因为她很少跟我们发脾气，经常考虑我们的感受，作为她的英语课代表我觉得很快乐。下面介绍我们的物理老师，他是9班的班主任，每天要担着两个班的课，有时看到他疲惫的身影真的很心疼。还有生物老师也是这样，他很会教，他带的班总是名次很靠前，他每天都会给我们留作业，但是不多，他会很认真的看完，他做事很仔细，因为他知道马虎一下我们的成绩就有可能下降，他的名言我一直记得：付出最大的努力，做最坏的打算。接下来就轮到我们的化学老师啦，化学老师人很好，记得是刚分班的第一次考试，我的考前祝愿书还是化学老师留给我的，看到那个的我，心里感觉到暖暖的。最后一位就是我们的语文老师了，他才来我班，对我们管教还是很严的，但是他是还是赏罚分明的，做好了有赏，同样做坏了也有罚，在他的帮助下我们的语文成绩也有了很大的提升。作为三班的学生我很爱这个班也很爱这的老师，我感觉到在这里很幸福。

我是十三中的学生，作为这的学生我觉得很幸福，因为在这个大家庭里我们很快乐，有辛勤工作的老师，他们每天没有怨言的陪在我们身边，只是默默付出。在学校我们可以收获很多，当学校有什么好事出现，我们总会跟着享福，免费的餐票，甜甜的小金橘，还有元旦的蛋糕，甜在嘴里，也甜在心里。

作为学生我要爱我的学校，爱我的班级，爱我的老师，因为只有这样才对你有好处，所以这是一个学生应该做的。

我们美丽的校园——漳平教师进修学校附属小学，这就是我们师生的家，我们的学校。它座落在九龙江畔、东山塔下、榉仔洲公园旁。

我们的学校可美啦!漂亮极了!宽畅的校大门、校门边有“好好学习，天天向上”的学习园地。漂亮的电动门，电钮吱的一下，大门就自动开了，自动化，真好!

校园内大道两旁长满了鲜嫩的小草与五颜六色鲜花。它们翩翩起舞，迎风招展，似乎在向我们频频点头与微笑，好像说“欢迎!欢迎!”。我们昂着头，挺着胸，迎着初升的朝阳和薄薄的晨露，兴致勃勃的来到了美丽的校园，新的一天开始了。

我们五年四班在一号楼五层，从五层俯视往下一瞧，美丽的校容校貌尽收眼底。我们学校真美啊!漂亮极了!看!那是多媒体教室，里面有电脑及各种媒体设备;那是图书馆、书吧，里面有各种书籍;哪是阅览室、会议室。五彩斑斓的塑胶跑道、碧绿的蓝球场，塑胶的田径跑道清晰夺目，一环连一环，一环扣一环，从起点又回到终点，联想我们人生的道路，也不正好如此吗?起步、跑步、向前、冲刺……

“诚实、勤奋、坚毅、创新”，八个烫金的校训展现在我们面前。这就是校魂，多年积累的经验，这就是我们的行为准则。诚实做人、勤奋学习，坚毅的品质，创新的学风，是我们这个大家庭师生的心声，是我们师生的灵魂。

我们学校的师生，来自大江南北，五湖四海，老师就象父母一样爱护我们，同学们就象兄弟姐妹，情意绵绵。大家在一起其乐融融，到处是充满莺歌燕舞，欢声笑语。同学们，互相学习、互相帮助，老师们娓娓细润的教书育人情，同学们朗朗连绵起伏的读书声，把我们的心紧紧的连在一起，它拨动了我们的心弦，振奋了我们的精神，开拓我们的智慧。

下课了，美妙的音乐响起，同学们纷纷走出教室，欢笑声、讨论声、追打戏闹声连成一片，好一派生动活泼的景象。

“天行健，君子以自强不息”美丽的校园——我的家。是我们打实打牢学习基础的地方，也是我们做人的起点，是我们积“洼步”与积“小流”的地方。“一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴”。我已五年级了，再一年就要毕业了，我一定要牢记我们的校训，履行自己的职责，勤奋学习，努力拼搏，锻炼好身体，在美丽校园里多做好事与实事，为把我们美丽的校园建设的更美好，为实现我们的中国梦，让我们的人生更加——出彩!

听，那是什么声音?是鸟叫?不是。是谁在歌唱?也不是。那声音来自我的学校——胜利街小学，那是一阵阵琅琅的读书声，是世界上最美妙、最动听的声音。

一进校门，首先望见的是一个小小休憩园。走过那里的林荫小道，你会发现，路两旁的一棵棵大杨树，就好似一个个高大的巨人，守护着我们的校园。再往前走，就到了校园里最具文学气息的地方——教学楼。

出了教学楼，就来到了学校里最大的地方——操场。这个操场很大很大，能容得下全校学生。操场两旁栽满了杏树、山丁子树和稠李子树，每到秋天，这里就会结出又大又甜的果子，满校园里果香四溢，摘下一个红红的果子，轻轻的咬一口，那甜甜的汁液就会在你的嘴里四处流动，很甜，很香。远远望去，那几棵果树就好似一个个穿着红色连衣裙的小女孩，在随风舞动，很美。操场上还有很多的健身器材，有单杠、双杠、天梯、爬杆、篮球架等。每到下课，同学们就都到这里来玩，打篮球、爬杆、翻杠，玩什么的都有，好是热闹。操场里不光有体育器材，还有一大片空地。不玩体育器材的同学们，都会到这里来玩。他们玩丢手绢、抢角、摸瞎等游戏。也玩的很开心。除了玩的地方，操场里还有一个运动的地方——跑道。每次上体育课，同学们都会在跑道上一圈圈的跑，看的别人也想去跑两圈了。操场的正中间，是一个国旗台，每当星期一的早晨，耳边响起雄壮的国歌时，我们全校同学的心都与那冉冉升起的国旗融为一体了，虽然人在操场上，可是心已经飞到了国旗的上面了。国旗台旁的花坛里一片片花团锦簇，就好似一个个面带微笑的小太阳，十分美丽。它们，也仿佛在唱着国歌，望着国旗，和我们一起对着国旗，行着注目礼。操场的东边还有一个很漂亮的厕所，那是一座欧式小楼。我对这座厕所的第一印象是美。这座欧式小楼的颜色大概是棕色和白色的，房顶上每一个角上都有一个小圈，很好看;这座厕所给我的第二印象是净。这座厕所里一点污垢都没有，还没有任何异味，就像普通的屋子一样。操场的西边是一排小平房，那是我们学校的体育组，学校里的体育老师都在那里面工作。你可别小看了这一排小平房，他的里面很大，不但有一个教师办公室，还有一个放体育器材的大厅。那个大厅里坐几十个，也不会拥挤，反而还觉得很空旷，你说它大不大?来过这里的人都说这里很奇。

这里，就是我的校园，它很美，是一个美丽的大校园。不过，这里不但美丽，还是学生的天堂，花的天堂，鸟的天堂，爱的天堂!

I am afraid that you will think me unpardonably negligent in not having

answered your letter dated 7, December sooner, but when I have told you the

reason, I trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. When your

letter arrived, I was just in Hong Kong. As my family could not forward it to me

during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment

when I took it up. Now the first thing I have to hasten to do is to write to you

these few lines to express my deep regret.

I enjoyed many pleasant sights during my trip. I shall be pleased to give

you an account to of them when I see you next.
