不一会儿，太阳像一个调皮的娃娃般“扑通”一下子跃出了地平线。太阳这个巨大而又炙热的火球毫不留情的烘烤着大地，温度急速升高，仿佛想把大地烤熟似的，强烈的光线使人睁不开眼睛。的大树却一点都不畏惧，依旧挺拔立在路边，郁郁葱葱。的大街小巷热闹了起来，人们在炙热的空气中穿行，或者躲在空调房里。蝉也热的受不了了，许多的鸣蝉在各个角落此起彼伏的叫着，到处都充斥着蝉刺耳的叫声，让人觉得心情烦闷。

中午，本该是一天中最热的时候，可是这时，一大块灰色的积雨云轻轻的飘了过来，挡住了太阳那正发散着光芒的脸。霎那间，大地笼罩上了一层阴影。风儿用尽力气的呜呜的刮起来，这是暴风雨的前奏吧？就在顷刻间，雨点儿像弹珠般哗哗地咋砸向大地，淹没了蝉的叫声。有的人来不及闪躲，惊慌失措的闪躲着；有的人撑起了一把把花花绿绿的雨伞，把夏天原本显得有点单调的连衣裙上添上了五颜六色盛开的花朵。

雨只在空中挥洒了十几分钟，大地便又回归了平静。天空的一角，架起了一座美丽的彩虹桥。红色、橙色、黄色、绿色……大地变得凉爽了，花儿们也愿意一朵接一朵地从草丛间冒出来选美，百花争艳，姹紫嫣红，成了路边一道优美的风景线。

夏天的性格真是多变，这也让夏天增加了几分魅力呢。
