老师开始选人了，同学们都把手举得高高的，生怕老师看不到自己。老师先是选男生，首先当选的是我们班里的重量级嘉宾—孙培喆同学，接着是杜莹峰、王新宇、卫科等人。接下来该选女生了，老师仔细的打量着我们，“向博雅、邵芝萍、张婉娜。”此时此刻，我的心里就像十五个吊桶——七上八下。老师接连又叫了几位女生的名字，我以为我没戏了。就在我失望的时候，老师看了我一眼说：“袁子怡你去当啦啦队员吧”有了这个机会，我兴致勃勃地跑出了教室，奔向操场。只见同学们个个摩拳擦掌，跃跃欲试。

比赛的道具是一条又粗又长的绳子，绳子的正中系着一条红领巾。参赛双方各拉一端，，哪对将对方拉向自己就为赢者。随着一声“预备！”双方队员都抓起了绳子，哨声刚一响，两对就拉起来了。只见杜莹峰的脸一下子红了起来，紧接着红领巾向我们班这边移了一点儿，我们啦啦队员也在高声的喊着“加油！加油！”就这样，红领巾一会儿往我们班移来，一会儿又向他们班移去，僵持了一会儿，我们班男生就没劲了，任凭我们叫破嗓门，最终还是输了。第一局，以失败而告终。休息了几分钟后，比赛又开始了，这一次是女生上阵了，我们班里的向博雅和邵芝萍同学是主力。所以比赛时，我始终就关注着她俩，并不时地为她们加油助威。谁说女子不如男，你看邵芝萍双手紧握绳子，右脚在后，左脚在前，使出了吃奶的力气。就这样我们班女生赢回了一局。呵呵呵，不是我说我们班男生真没劲，还是女生最给力。

这次拔河比赛真有趣啊！虽然我没能亲自参加比赛，有点遗憾，但是我作为一名啦啦队员能在旁边为他（她）们呐喊助威，也体会了比赛的艰辛，分享了胜利的喜悦。就这点，我还是感到欣慰。我一定要加强锻炼身体，希望在下一个赛季我也能参加比赛。

I went to an English Summer Camp this summer vacation. Its really a good chance to improve my English. I ate lived learnt and played with my foreign teachers and my classmates for about three weeks.
