“预备！”裁判员发出了口令。“砰！”随着一声枪响，运动员都箭一样飞奔了出去。在中途，全场一片沸腾，加油声一阵比一阵更响亮。运动员使劲地摆动双臂迈开大步，脸红彤彤的，汗水一滴滴地落了下来，昂首挺胸，一圈又一圈。

终于轮到我上场了，我的心怦怦直跳，仿佛有十八个大吊桶在打水。“砰！”发令枪一响，我就像离弦的箭一样，向前冲了出去。不一会儿，我就超过了所有人。一圈下来，我的胸口好像塞满了棉花似的透不过气来。我一步三喘，脚像灌了铅似的沉得抬不起来，浑身没有力气。观众有的大声喊着“加油，加油”，有的挥挥手，还有的在为我助跑呢！他们恨不得把九牛二虎之力都传递给我，我受到了鼓舞，又有了力气，越跑越有劲。我觉得对手就在我的身后，怕被他们追上来，连头也不敢回，只顾自己向前跑。只剩下五六十米了，我像一只脱缰的野马一样冲向终点。还剩几十米了，我的心激动不已，但好景不长，我由于一激动迈错了退，差一点儿就一个踉跄摔倒了，但还好我及时控制住了平衡，立刻调整好了状态，继续冲刺，却没有想到了是我的脚竟然崴了。我猛忍着疼痛往前跑，我的脸上的五官已经痛的扭曲在了一起。我心里突然有了想退赛的念头，我的心纠结万分，仿佛有两个小人在激烈地争吵，其中一位劝我：“你都伤成这样了，怎么能继续跑”。另一位则教导我：“老师不是常教你，做事不能半途而废，要持之以恒吗？”我火烧眉毛，不知道该听谁的，但我的好胜心还是使我跑完了全程。

当我想起我忍痛冲过终点线的那一刻，我仿佛明白了坚持不懈的铁人精神。

七、 具体流程策划:

a) 提前一周张贴海报通知。

b) 选手报名,在公寓楼前十字路口。

b) 给参赛者一周的时间进行英语散文的创作。文章以电子稿或打印稿的形式提交。电子稿发到群邮箱，打印稿安排会员进行收取。

c) 由工作人员负责整理收集稿件

d) 作品由专业老师评选优秀作品。

e) 公布比赛结果并颁发证书。
