寒假生活就好像火箭“嗖”的一下就过去了，爱玩的我还没玩够呢就要开学了。每次寒假我都特别开心，因为过大年呀!

整个寒假除了写作业，还和家里的大人们一起贴春联，帮着妈妈包了饺子，在婆婆家放了烟花爆竹，还和我的好朋友大旭一起玩了个够。

大年初四那天，妈妈带我去了婆婆家，说要寻找年味，妈妈问我知不知道什么叫年味。“吃饺子，吃大餐，要红包!”妈妈笑了：“嗯，也不错，年味其实就是一家人在一起包水饺，吃着年夜饭，看看春节晚会，亲朋好友间互相拜个年，聊聊絮絮……”

On the first day of the lunar New Year, children put on their new clothes and greet their parents. They are very happy to get lucky money from them.

almost everyone has seen bamboo. bamboo grows up straight and thin, with branches at the top. it has long leaves.it looks like a tree, but it is really a kind of grass.

there are more than five hundred kinds of bamboo. some grow over ten meters tall, and some are only a few inehes tall. bamboo grows best in places where it is warm and it rains often.

the long stem of bamboo is hollow, which makes them light and strong.people use it to build houses and bridges over rivers. it can be used to make tables,chairs, baskets and many other things. bamboo is also made into paper. the tender young shoots of bamboo are tasty. people like to eat them.

今天是大年三十，我盼望的新年终于来了。我一大早就起床了，穿上漂亮的新衣服，新鞋子，还带了一顶红色的小帽子。感觉好极了。

中午我们来到姥姥家，姥姥给我们准备了许多好吃的水果和小吃。今天最有意思的就是我们一家人包饺子了。姥姥还准备了几个一角的钱币，说谁要能吃到钱币就发大财了。我也要吃出几个钱来发大财。可妈妈告诉我姥姥是在逗我。

我想过年可真好，有许多好吃的呢！不过最有意思就是包饺子，今年包饺子的时候，看见妈妈姥姥擀面皮擀得很好，我都不会。只会包几个小饺子，包的还不是很好。但是大家都夸我包的不错。包饺子真有意思，明年过年我一定早早来帮姥姥包饺子。

When the Spring Festival, every household will prepare many things, you see the people on the street people mountain people sea appear cheery. Mom and I went to buy necessities, we bought a lot of things such as the Spring Festival couplets bought New Year paintings. The most let me happy is I bought some firecrackers. Mother gave me to buy a new suit of clothes. Arranged to buy back, we have to clean the house, mother hang lanterns in the morning to get up, dad is the Spring Festival couplet and blessing all the door, I put all dried fruit in the plate, placed neatly.

Thirty day, mother put on new clothes for me, I was so happy! In the afternoon do mom and dad together I love to eat food more, eat family reunion dinner together when the whole family were very happy. Eat a big dinner the whole family sitting together watching the Spring Festival gala, holiday is wonderful, sketch, songs, and singing and dancing. The adults are making dumplings. Is nearly twelve o clock, rang with firecrackers outside. Dad carrying firecrackers went downstairs, and I came downstairs I smell the fireworks, we put many firecrackers, I also put a fireworks. Just a little hurriedly ran back, wait for a while still wasnt ask dad how havent! I went to take a look! Father said: "no collapse over", I said: "Ill be careful," I went from a point, finally lit, the colorful firecrackers like a blooming flower in the air, beautiful. 过春节时，每家每户都要准备很多东西，你看大街上的人人山人海显得喜气洋洋。妈妈和我去买年货，我们买了春联买了年画等很多东西。最让我高兴的是我买了一些鞭炮。妈妈还给我买了新衣服。年货买回来了，我们要把家里打扫得干干净净的，妈妈一早就把灯笼挂了起来，爸爸也把春联和福字帖到门上，我把干果都放进盘子里，摆放的整整齐齐的。

年三十那天，妈妈给我穿上了新衣服，我高兴极了!下午的时候爸爸、妈妈一起做好多我爱吃的菜，一起吃团圆饭时全家人都很开心。吃过团圆饭全家人坐在一起看春节联欢晚会，节日很精彩，有小品、有歌曲、还有歌舞。大人们都在包饺子。快十二点了，外面响起了鞭炮声。我和爸爸拿着鞭炮下了楼，到了楼下我闻到了烟火味，我们放了很多鞭炮，我还放了一个烟花。刚一点就连忙跑了回来，等了一会还没着就问爸爸怎么还没着啊!我去看一看吧!爸爸说：“不行小心崩着 ”，我说：“我会小心的 ”我去从点了一下，终于点着了，那五颜六色的鞭炮就像在空中盛开的花朵，美丽极了。放完了鞭炮，我们吃起了饺子，开始拜年了，每人都给了我压岁钱。

新的一年开始了，希望全家人都能幸福。希望我的学习进步。

The Spring Festival, Chinese New Year, is the most of important festival for all of us. All family members get together on New YearEve to have a big meal.At the same time, everyone celebrates to each other.At about 12 oclock, some parents and children light crackers.The whole sky is lighted brightly. We may watch the fireworks excitedly.How busy it is!

On the first early moring of one year, many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some houses windows are sticked on red paper cutlings.

The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days, we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time, children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents, grandparents, uncles， aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival. It names the Lantern Festival.

So the Chinese New Year comes to the end.

春节，中国新年，是我们大家最重要的节日。所有的家庭成员都得到新大吃一顿。同时，大家互相庆祝。大约十二点，一些家长和孩子们放鞭炮，天空是明亮的。我们可以兴奋地看烟花！

在一年的第一个清晨，许多老年人早早起床，贴上颠倒的礼物，或在前门挂上对联。一些房子的窗户上贴上红纸。

中国新年持续十五天。所以在这十五天里，我们总是登门拜访我们的亲戚。那时，孩子们最快乐，因为他们可以从父母、祖父母、叔叔、阿姨那里得到很多红包。春节的最后一天是另一个节日。它把元宵节命名为元宵节。

所以中国新年就要到了。

The Spring Festival, also know as the lunar New Year, is the greatest traditional festival. It is usually a time between late January or early February, which means rest and relaxation between winter and spring after a years toil, and means celebration as well. Before the Spring Festival, people clean their house, put red coupletson their gates, and set off firecrackers, according to fairy tale, for driving a demon, named Nian away.

On the eve of the Spring Festival, a get-together banquet is a must, and the most popular food is Dumpling, which is supposed to bring good fortune. On the first day of the new year, everybody wears new clothes and greets relatives and friends with bows and congratulations wishing each other lucky during the new year.

今天我去英瑞特上英语，刚想给魏老师打个招呼，没想到她对我摆摆手说：“我已经不给你们讲课了，新来的蔡老师要接替我的工作。”我一下子惆怅若失，心里空荡荡的，打心眼里憎恨那位把魏老师换走的新老师。

上课铃响了，我们五十四只眼睛齐唰唰地盯着门口，想见识见识新来的老师。不一会儿，门吱嘎一声开了，应声而来的是一位女老师。她的体形有些发福，两只眼睛被挤成了两道月牙。她走上讲台自我介绍：“我叫蔡媛媛。”只听见大家直呼一声“菜园子”大笑起来，蔡老师也笑着说：“我好有魅力呀，刚出场就迷倒了一半观众”。这下可好，房顶都要被我们的笑声掀垮了。老师见镇不住我们，突然眉头一皱，计上心头，说：“前几天我得了感冒现在还没好……”老师的话音未落，我们便一下子闭上了嘴巴，俗话说病从口入，谁也不愿意当病毒牺牲品。

课上了一半，枯躁无味的新概念把我们带到了一个乏味的世界，当教到case（盒子）这个单词时，我们再也没有兴趣继续学习了。老师看了看我们痛苦的表情，灵机一动，说：“我给你们讲个故事吧。在我读大学时，给我们教英语的是个男老师，在学case这个单词时，他问：“Who can give me a case？（谁能给我一个盒子）”，但我们都把case听成了同音词kiss（吻），老师看没人举手，便走到一个女生面前，问：“Can you give me a case？(你能给我一个盒子吗）”，只见她慢慢站起来，脸比苹果还红，然后不好意思地亲了一下老师，捂着脸坐下了。搞得那位教授丈二和尚摸不着头脑，莫名其妙地把嘴张成了O型。”蔡老师的话音还没落，全班同学早已笑成了一锅粥。

人不可貌相，海水不可斗量。蔡老师的课比我想象中的要精彩百倍，我希望所有的老师上课都这么幽默，让我们在轻松愉快的气氛中掌握知识。
