If the Gala can be redesigned to enrich its performance further, it will get away from being mediocre. But it is unnecessary to expect achieving its previous success. After all, the time has changed.

在教室内，一片喜悦，每人的桌子上摆着一大袋零食。咦?今天是什么节日呢?Bingo!答对了，是圣诞节。在此，我祝大家圣诞节快乐。

在下午，我们班开展了圣诞晚会.

“嗞嗞……哗哗“在一片喧哗声中，还合着几声吵闹的声音。仔细一看，原来是在搬桌子和椅子，准备开圣诞晚会呢!

首先，由黄希和王充给我们介绍圣诞节的由来与圣诞老人的故事;接着，是曾茹和沈婷主持下面的活动。有几个游戏：一个是抢椅子，一个是击鼓传花，一个是反义词。

在玩“反义词”游戏的时候，我听到主持人说“站着”，然后我就坐下，结果好像错了，一开始我也不大明白游戏的规则。不过接下来我弄明白了，几个我都做对了，好开心呀!

其实，从黄子希和王曼充开始介绍圣诞节由来的时候，我们大部分的同学都已经开始吃早已准备好了的零食了。接着，樊老师“驾到”，樊老师身穿一件圣诞老人的衣服，下身却是一条裙子，手上左右的衣袖挂着两个雪白的小绒球，头上戴着一顶圣诞帽，圣诞帽下面是一头棕色的头发，漂亮极了，也逗趣极了!

樊老师来给我们拍照。老师经过我们这儿看见徐瑞和刘榕各有一个像麋鹿头上的角和耳朵，好可爱，让谭棋给老师和刘榕、徐瑞拍一张。后来又给甘雅蕾和徐筱瑞拍了一张，也给我和刘镕榕拍了一张，整个班级的气氛浓厚极了。

晚会在欢乐的气氛中进行着，演员们使出全身解数，来博得观众的笑声和掌声。观众们个个笑得脸红通通的，巴掌都拍痛了。晚会接近尾声时，我们全班同学拿出了最后的秘密武器——五颜六色的花瓣，抛向空中，抛向演员们……

看着这些美丽的花瓣，我想：在这个特殊的日子里，圣诞老人成了我们最可爱的人。

Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. It falls on the twenty- fifth of December and has the same importance as Chinese New Year to people with English backgrounds. The celebration is for the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in Christianity. Now days Christmas is no longer only celebrated by the Christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. Some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).

Rise and shine on Christmas morning! The children are always the first ones to wake up, some even do at four. Present wrappers everywhere! They look into their presents with a big smile on their face and oh dear….I hope no one’s disappointed. I feel sorry for anyone that got pink underwear. Children play while dinner is prepared by the adults. The Christmas dinner are usually eaten together by relatives. The tradition of Christmas pudding and roosters are usually eaten with deserts afterwards. The rest of the day is usually games and fun before the good days all come to an end.

Jo Saturnalia! was a fun and festive time for the Romans, but the Christians thought it an abomination to honor the pagan god. The early Christians wanted to keep the birthday of their Christ child a solemn and religious holiday, not one of cheer and merriment as was the pagan Saturnalia.

Some legends claim that the Christian Christmas celebration was invented to compete against the pagan celebrations of December. The 25th was not only sacred to the Romans but also the Persians whose religion Mithraism was one of Christianitys main rivals at that time. The Church eventually was successful in taking the merriment, lights, and gifts from the Saturanilia festival and bringing them to the celebration of Christmas.

The exact day of the Christ childs birth has never been pinpointed. Traditions say that it has been celebrated since the year 98 AD. In 137 AD the Bishop of Rome ordered the birthday of the Christ Child celebrated as a solemn feast. In 350 AD another Bishop of Rome, Julius I, choose December 25th as the observance of Christmas.

The birth of Jesus had a story: In Nazareth, a city of Galilee. The virgins name was Mary was betrothed to Joseph. Before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. Joseph her husband was minded to put her away secretly. While he thought about these things, Gabriel, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and told him did not be afraid to take Mary as wife. And Mary will bring forth a Son, and he shall call his name, Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.

Many well-known Christmas carols, including Silent Night and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, were composed during this period. In the United States and other countries, Santa Claus replaced Saint Nicholas as the symbol of gift giving.

The word Xmas is sometimes used instead of Christmas. This tradition began in the early Christian church. In Greek, X is the first letter of Christs name. It was frequently used as a holy symbol.

2.是否要加少量游戏在晚会里面.

5.节目安排:

圣诞节必不可少的节目，晚会策划一场朋友式的PARTY，一种友情聚会的好时光。

1.戴着圣诞帽，唱着圣诞歌《平安夜》(SilentNight)，说说大家的圣诞愿望。

2.2、抛绣球(20分钟)

准备：提供3个小筐(小筐包装的漂亮一点)，40个气球

游戏规则：一局六名选手，两人一组，一人背筐，一人投球。背筐者努力接住来自投手的球，最后以接球的多少决定最后的胜负。此游戏主要考察两人的配合能力，看谁最后满载而归。

3、幸运之星演绎大餐(20分钟)

准备：五个各色的气球,每桌出一人站一排传花。

游戏规则：电声乐队有节奏的击鼓，观众传花。鼓点落后，花落谁手，谁出节目。出节目者均有奖品赠送。

4、默契大考验

准备：十个气球

游戏规则：我们邀请选手上台，手手相联，背背相对，齐心协力把夹在背上的气球，晚会策划从起点运到终点，以用时最少者获胜。让我们看看谁是最默契的拍档。
