christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in china. christmas cards become popular with students. people hold christmas parties and exchange christmas girts. a lot or tv and radio programs about christmas are on. meanwhile the spring festival is less appealing (有吸引力的)to youngsters. thus some people wonder whether christmas will replace the spring festival.

this worry is fairly unnecessary. why ? one reason lies that christmas only affects christians，college students and joint-venture (合资企业)workers. another reason is that christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic(带有异国情调的) festival. by contrast，the spring festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.

i think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the west，a lot of western holidays have been gradually introduced into china. for us chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. for centuries chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. and we will treasure the spring festival forever.

The day before the Spring Festival is New Years eve, everybody cheerfully stick couplets on the Spring Festival, in front of his home in the kitchen making dumplings, have a meal before you set off firecrackers.

I put a lot of firecrackers, Spring Festival is "ZuanTianHou", "ZuanTianHou" fly to the sky, making sound, very nice. The second is the "big tanks", like real tanks rushed past, open to a half stopped, colorful light, beautiful! Spring Festival in my Hometown

The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

On the New Year’s Eve, the whole family sits around, having a

sumptuous feast of reunion. It is worth mentioning that the food we have called maiyouzhi is unique. There is a flat piece of wheat sheet covering various vegetable and meat then rolling them up. What a delicious it is! After dinner, the family always watches the Spring Festival Gala Evening, and sets up fireworks to watch in the New Year.

On the first day of the New Year, people pay visits to the relatives and friends to send New Year’s greetings to each other and wish everything smoothly in the new year. The kids can get a lot of lucky money from the elders.

During the whole holiday, there are varied activities in the town such as lion and dragon dance, and all the citizens enjoy them very much.

People celebrate the festival until the Lantern festival. However, the wonderful memory and the joy of the Spring Festival will last long.

My College Life

How time flies! I have been in Zhejiang Gongshang University for a semester. In retrospect, my college life is busy but colorful. Different from my senior high school’s life, the whole new life I led is much freer. I arranged my time,

becoming the master of myself.

First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. Little as my effort is, I tried my best to help the people around us. Once the YVP organized us to sell secondhand books and raise the money to help the people indeed.

In addition, I quite enjoy the travels and the bees. Travels let me experience the sunshine, fresh air as well as the special taste of the local customs and practices. While the bees keep the friendship shining, and friends are as if family members. Both of them lit up my life.

All in all, the college life is a journey, and I have long way to go; all the memory is the most precious treasure, and I will value every moment.

On the morning of the first day of the year, when the sky was light and the whole family set off firecrackers, the sound was deafening and I got up. As soon as I was out of the house, I saw all the houses in the house. 这个传统节日有个古老的传说，相传很久很久以前有一种叫年的怪兽每当严寒将尽、新春快来的时候便跑下山来吃人。它异常凶猛，长着血盆大口，一口可以吞掉一个大人。人类非常害怕它，每到这时就会逃到深山去避难。可是村里有位老爷爷却并不逃跑，只见他在家门口贴红纸、点明火，还把干竹子一根接一根地丢进火堆里烧，随后火堆里发出“劈劈啪啪”的爆裂声。年跑下山正好听到响声，吓得拔腿就往回跑了，然后再也不敢下山来了。就这样，每当到了这一天，家家户户贴红春联、放鞭炮，逐渐就演化成了现在的春节。

年夜饭。年夜饭一定是重头戏，这天一家老小会集聚一堂，主妇们会一头扎进厨房为一大家子做上一桌“满汉全席”来感谢长辈、犒劳老公、奖励小孩。我们家里的年夜饭是非十二个碗不可的，少了我爸绝对会唠叨我妈“寒碜”。

守岁。年夜饭过后我们可以自由安排活动，喝茶、嗑瓜子、陪奶奶聊天、看春节联欢晚会、看书、下棋……你乐意就行，但是最趣的是守岁，比谁扛得住，守得久得的红包就更大，我每年信誓旦旦，每每又最早昏昏欲睡。

穿新衣戴新帽。这一天一定是从头到脚都是新的，必须崭新而又干净。

拜年。如果说大人们平时非常忙碌，像钟表上的发条不停奔忙的话，这几天的他们似乎都特别清闲，每天悠哉悠哉，走街串巷、探亲访友，见面就说新年好，三句不离一起喝两杯。我最喜欢跟着跑了，因为我人小辈份也小，大人总免不了要给我发红包，广东的几块、几十块，湖南的几百块，回家拆红包数钱是最快乐的事情。

春节习俗，一些人可能只熟悉自己家乡的，却对外地的一窍不通。北京的习俗可是很有意思的哦……

进入腊月以后，就有文人墨客在市肆檐下书写春联，以挣些银子过年。祭灶之后，新春联渐次粘挂，千家万户，焕然一新。有的人家用朱笺，有的用红纸，只有内廷及宗室王公等按例用白纸，镶以红边蓝边，不是宗室者不得擅用。

腊月将梅束起放在一个腹大口小的器具中，放置于地下五尺左右的地方，燃火，让地微微有些温暖，梅花就回渐渐放白，用纸笼之，到市上去卖，小桃、郁李、迎春都可如此。繁盛之区，支搭席棚，售卖画片。妇女儿童争相购买，以为乐。

腊月初一，大街上卖粥果者排成市场。更有卖核桃、柿饼、枣、栗、干菱角米者，肩挑筐贮，叫而卖之。其次则肥野鸡、关东鱼、野猫、野鹜、腌腊肉、铁雀儿、馓架果罩、大佛花、斗光千张、楼子庄元宝。初十以后则卖卫画、门神、挂钱、金银箔、锞子黄钱、销金倒酉、马子烧纸、玻璃镜、窗户眼。廿日之后则卖糖瓜、糖饼、江米竹节糕、关东糖。糟草抄豆，是廿三日送灶时供给神马用的。又有卖窑器者，铜银换瓷碗，京城之香炉烛台;闷葫芦，小儿籍以存钱;支锅瓦，灶口用为助爨。至廿五日以后则卖芝麻秸、松柏枝、南苍术以供“煨岁”之用。腊月诸物价钱都比平日贵些，所以才有“腊月水土贵三分”的谚语。老年人到了这时，总要劝后辈谨慎花钱，于是又有“二十七八，平取品抓”之谚。

腊月八日为王侯腊，家家煮果粥。都在前一日备好米和豆，以百果雕作人物像生花式。三更煮粥成，全家聚食，馈送亲邻，为腊八粥。腊八粥，是用黄米、白米、江米、小米、菱角米、栗子、红豇豆、去皮枣泥等，合水煮熟，外用染红桃仁、杏仁、瓜子、花生、榛穰、松子及白糖、红塘、琐琐葡萄，以作点染。切不可用莲子、扁豆、薏米、挂元，用则伤味。每至腊七日，则剥果洗净器皿，终夜经营，到天明时粥熟。除祀祖供佛外，分馈亲友，不得过午。并用红枣、核桃等制成狮子、小儿等类，以见巧思。

春节里，家家户户门口贴满了春联，我不禁对春联产生了浓厚的兴趣，忍不住向爸爸问这问那。爸爸灵机一动，给我布置了一个特殊的任务采春联，想让我亲身感受一下春联的奇妙。

家乡的春联真多啊!有四字联、五字联、六字联、七字联，还有九字联、十一字联等等，形形色色，不一而足：对联的内容也五花八门，有写春日美景的，有写丰收喜悦的，有写祈财送福的，也有颂扬时代新风的，真可说是包罗万象、博大精深。

瞧，这边门楣上写了幅物华天宝，那边门楣上对上一幅人杰地灵左边门框出了幅上联春风春雨春色，右边门框则对了幅下联新年新岁新景，对得多么工整啊!岁岁皆如意，年年尽平安说出了农家渴望平安如意的心愿;人有鲲鹏志，国呈龙虎姿、国盛国昌凭国策，龙飞龙腾靠龙人道出了人们立志强国的心声：喜看今春花千树，更盼来年桔满仓却以白描的手法勾画出了乡村桔农渴望丰收的情怀;处处红花处处红，重重绿树绿重重则精妙地点写出了山乡的美景：玉兔归时深慕人间春色美，金龙起处喜看华夏蓝图新一幅长联更是说出了改革开放给农村带来的翻天覆地的变化

看着一幅幅春联，我不禁浮想联翩，豪情满怀，决心更要发愤读书，将来为国争光。正所谓华夏年年腾骏业，新春岁岁展宏图。

在传统节日中我喜欢过春节，春节是我们中华民族的传统节日，也是众多传统节日过的最为隆重、喜庆的。而在我眼里春节是小朋友们的“狂欢会”，因为春节可以放鞭炮、打游戏、看烟花……别提有多开心了!

一说起春节我就想起了去年过春节时候的情景。那天大采购，买了好多烟花白天的时候我就在那与小朋友你追我赶。

盼啊盼，终于到了晚上大家的“Party”终于开始了。饥肠辘辘的我们狼吞虎咽的吃着年夜饭，喝!年夜饭还真多，我都吃不下了!吃完年夜饭，我和姐姐拿着鞭炮冲了出去，拿出了“火绳”用老爸的打火机一烧，“火绳”就射出了五彩斑斓的光我把“火绳”甩起来“火绳”就像一个“火圈”一样好看极了!放完了“火绳”我们开始放“火树”了，我们用打火机点着了引线逐渐有一点点淡淡的火光的冒了出来，随着我们欢呼的声音火光逐渐减变大，渐渐地成了一棵树，我和姐姐就在旁边一边做动作一边喊：“高!高!高!”火光在树上跳动仿佛是小精灵在树上欢呼着、跳动着。终于放礼花了我，我们引燃了导线。99发的礼花像大炮一样陆续发送五彩缤纷好看极了!

在礼花的发射之下我们恋恋不舍结束了春节。
