As a student, we have study for many years. During there years, we study

Chinese, English, science and so on. In this period, with the improvement of our

knowledge, we not only read the books in class but also read extracurricular

after school. In my opinion Dream of the red chamber is the best book I have

read. In this book, the great author Cao xueqin his view about love. He had

firmly faith in what is the true love and try to tell us that there are

different kinds of love, only one kind which should be considered as True

Love.

In a dream, and under mythical circumstances, the main character of the

novel, Jia baoyu, met the Fairy Disenchantment in the Land of Illusions. She

showed him three "registers" each containing the names and "the happenings in

life" of 12 girls in his clan. Each girl represents a kind of love.

From the stories which are unfolding in the novel, the reader should know

the characteristics of the different kinds of love, and should be able to

distinguish True Love from the other kinds.

True love is acceptance, committal, mutual and without any post conditions.

saying or hearing I love you is not good enough because talk is cheap. Action in

Last week, our teacher gave us a task. We needed to interview some people

and collect different opinions. At first, I felt it a difficult task, because I

professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of

waiting outside of his door for hours. Some of my friends are living in a

the email will not lose while the letter might be losing in the process of

delivery.

However, there are also disadvantage of using Internet. For example, I

might spend too much time on the Internet to concentrate on my study. Also,

there is a chance that I am cheated because of the Internet purchasing. Last,

Internet has lots of information, both helpful and harmful. There might be too

much tempatation that I will access some of the harmful information I can on the

Internet.

Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to

me, I still consider Internet is a symbol of technology development. I believe I

can use the Internet very well as long as I know how to control myself.

People will be the envy of the sky eagle, but never thought it a thousand

times to practice hard; people were envious of butterfly flowers, but do not

Halloween

Halloween is an autumn holiday that Americans celebrate every year. It means "holy evening," and it comes every October 31, the evening before All Saints Day. However, it is not really a church holiday, it is a holiday for children mainly.

Every autumn, when the vegetables are ready to eat, children pick large orange pumpkins. Then they cut faces in the pumpkins and put a burning candle inside. It looks as if there were a person looking out of the pumpkin! These lights are called jack-o-lanterns, which means "Jack of the lantern".

The children also put on strange masks and frightening costumes every Halloween. Some children paint their faces to look like monsters. Then they carry boxes or bags from house to house. grandma had this skill, I was so surprised and curious about it. I asked my

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. Everyone has a hobby. I like doing sports and I like playing basketball the

best. So I decided to play basketball every morning with my classmates. Today,

the weather was nice. Early in the morning, I got up and worn clothes quickly.

When I arrived at the basketball ground, my classmates have already been there.

First, we ran around the basketball ground so that we could play better in the

I couldnt stand the most. In a word, all i did in high shool should be

school.I can arrange my time freely. I spend most of my time reading in the
