Keeping a diary in English is one of the effective ways to improve our English writing ability. Compared with other forms of writing, it is shorter and takes less time. I went on my first travel when I was about seven years old with my mom.That was a weekend.We went to climb a mountain not far from our city.It was sunny that day but just because we traveled in spring so it was comfortable that day.

We went there by bus then we took a taxi there.The mountains we climbed were very tall and there was a temple on the way to the top so we took a rest there.

When we finally climbed up to the top we were all very tired.The scenery we saw from the top was very beautiful,the air was fresh,the wind was clena.We both had a wonderful time during our trip.

Today is the Duanwu Festival.It is a special festival in China.On this

day,we usually eat zongzi,a kind of food that is made of rice.So I tried to cook

some zongzi today.First,I bought some bamboo leaves.It is an important part of

zongzi.I made the leaves in the shape of small bottles.Next,I put in some rice

and meat.So the leaves can make the rice more delicious.Then,I found some thin

ropes and tied up the leaves——And then the zongzi was finished.The final step

was to boil some water and cook them.It was hard work,but I tried my best and it

was the most delicious zongzi I had ever eaten.

There are many kind of food for them to eat, such as nuddles, eggs, fried dough

vegetables, meats and rice. They have a short rest after lunch. Supper is about

at six in the evening. All the family eat together, they eat the same kind of

food as the lunch. Some people like to have some fruits after the meal.

It was sunny today. I was excited. I got up at a quarter to seven. I made a

appointment to meet at nine o’clock. After I had my breakfast, I went to the

Wanjia Market . It was hot outside. When I arrived, my friends didn’t arrive. I

The summer is coming. I like summer very much. In summer days, I can do a

Travel Alone

I believe different ways for traveling will have different feelings. And I prefer travelling alone. Travelling alone is more excited. Just imagine, you go to a beautiful place, but you have never gone there before, so you have to deal all the things by yourself. It is very adventure, right? In addition, travelling alone can avoid many conflicts that will have when travelling in group. Last, watching the same scenery by yourself or with many people will have different feelings. Therefore, sometimes you can think about traveling alone. It is good.

今天我怀着高兴的心情来到了苗寨。苗寨虽然保持着他原始的面貌，但古街上已流动着我们现代的商业气息。虽然已是晚上九点多了，但古街上还是人声鼎沸，人头窜动。

今晚我们住的是正宗吊脚楼，这楼听讲解员说以前一楼是养家畜的，二楼开始才住人，我们今天住的一楼已商业化了，一楼也住人，但住的感觉应该和以前没分别，因为这楼都是木结构的，因此只要有人走楼梯，整幢楼都会发出吱吱的响声。也就是这个特性使我整夜都未眠，我醒的特别早，天还未亮透，清晨的苗寨特别美，远处高山雾气环绕，如同仙境。一座座吊脚楼，更显得气派有神韵。一个个勤劳的苗民，背着他们特有的萝筐上山去了。古街已不像昨夜那样商业了，一切变得静悄悄，只有几个卖早点的苗民，准备着早餐。

人都向往大自然，绿油油的梯田把我带上了山。
