I like travelling on may own not only because it costs much less but because it gives a great degree of independence and freedom. How happy I am. Yesterday I finished all the work very quick, so I have a lot of time to do myself. Sometimes finish work early is a good thing, we can have more interests to do the next work. it was raining outside when i got up early in the morning. it‘s too bad, i had to go to school by bus. i said to myself. it was almost seven o‘clock before i left home. i put on my raincoat and ran to the bus stop in a hurry, for i thought a lot of people might be waiting there. hardly had i got there when a bus was coming. i got on the bus immediately, hoping it was possible for me to take a seat. i saw an empty seat and took it. but i found an old lady standing behind me. i stood up at once and was about to ask her to take the seat when a young girl in a modern skirt made a dive for it. i could hardly believe it.

i glared at her, thinking“what bad manners! she cares for nobody but herself. won‘t she grow old in the future?”

the best way of traveling

people travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. to me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

on a summer vacation i travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. when i use my feet and walk on a grass covered path or among the hills i feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. and when i travel on foot i get more freedom. i can plan my own schedule. i can choose my own route. i can stop where i like. and i can see things and people that i might miss if i travel on a train or on a bus.

when faster and more convenient ways for travel are becoming available, i still favor using my own feet. i get much pleasure from it.

Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not very healthy and I

decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will feel happy and

become better. Suddenly, an idea hit me that it’s terrible to grow old becuase

you have to worry about both your health and others’ opinions. Once again, I

make a decision to be a good girl.
