现在的我们还只是一名中学生，可能还不能很好地理解“一带一路”的思想理念。但我们可以从中汲取一些优秀的精神品质。如合作共赢的精神可以被应用到我们的学习生活中。同学之间互助学习，优势互补就是一种合作共赢。

合作共赢，诚在其中。孟子说：“诚者，天之道也，思诚者，人之道也。”我们只有不违背自己的诺言、言行一致、实事求是，才能赢得别人的信任。同学之间，要以诚相待，才能更好地学习交流，共同取得好成绩。以诚相待，朋友才能遍天下。

合作共赢，容在其中。学校是一个大家庭，同学之间只有相互包容，才能促进团结。俗话说：“一人知识有限，众人智慧无穷。”不同的人对待同一个问题有不同的思考方式，但只要我们能相互包容、集思广益，就能激起思维的火花，超越个体的局限性，更好更快的解决问题，提高学习能力。

合作共赢，享在其中。合作学习不能只是单方面的，而应相互分享学习方法、学习心得体会，共同成长，乐享其中。这样的集体在学习中才有动力。缺乏合作意识，会孤陋而寡闻。合作学习，会促进共同提高。

也许“一带一路”的宏图，对于现在的我们来讲还有些遥远，但时代的接力棒即将传递到我们的手上，我们需要汲取先辈们留下的丝路精神，才能在未来谱写更绚丽的华章。

追剧看平凡的世界，终于在32集再次看到郝红梅出场了，红梅在第一集就出场了，出身不好，先与孙少平同病相怜，情愫在共同的苦难生活中的产生，先是眉目传情，后来借书传情。在我看来，这段感情也是最般配不过的，贫困生与地主后代的贫困生。

可惜，顾养民如阳光，照亮了红梅的生活，给了她改变命运的希望，如果不是毕业之际的偷手绢事件，红梅及一家的命运将彻底改变。

天意弄人，手绢事件被戳穿，红梅的城市梦也随之结束了，匆匆嫁到外县，小学老师倒也给了她温存与体贴，可惜，不幸再次降临，快乐的日子太短暂，丈夫被砸死。红梅成了年轻的寡妇。

这时候，润生出场了，润生与红梅集市上的巧遇原是命运的故意安排。老同学相逢的尴尬很快变成对红梅的无限怜惜。于是，送煤送面送油送玩具，润生的心里装满了红梅及那个苦难的家。

当然，平日软弱有余的润生执拗发起飙来也是蛮吓人的 。

让我们再看看 兰花，少平的大姐，这个美丽丰满的女子，被罐子村的破罐子王满银花言巧语哄骗着娶到家的女子，只是因为满银给了她爱的启蒙与欢欣，就心甘情愿地为他生儿育女，无怨无悔地陪他过烂包日子。

中国的传统女子莫非是这样滴对待家庭对待婚姻，她们常把不幸归咎于个人的命不好。对旁人再无怨恨。对还是不对呢?

Book Review: “Camille”

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.

However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.

As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without “keeping” her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.

前一段时间，电视台播放了《平凡的世界》连续剧，看着剧情挺吸引人的，这个假期有时间读了这本书。

日出而作，日落而息，日复一日，年复一年，这才是生活。琐碎的矛盾纠葛，你牵着我，我绊着你，剪不断，理还乱，欲说还休，这才是生活。大起大落，大喜大悲，铭心的爱，刻骨的恨，说来无聊，但却缠绕。有喜怒哀乐，有爱恨情仇，有凌云壮志，也有颓唐消沉，这才是活生生的人，这才是生活。百折不挠，愈战愈勇，山崩地裂不皱眉，那是神话中的英雄;现实中，纵然是强者，也难免苦痛，难免挣扎，难免有“弯”的时候，但弯而不折，生活需要的就是一个“韧”字。

读了《平凡的世界》后，我最大的收获就是，《平凡的世界》让我能够认识到：平凡的人的平凡的生活是最伟大的，能够让我在努力奋斗的同时提醒自己保持一颗平凡的心。

《平凡的世界》，它的内容如它的名字一样，这是一个平凡的世界。几十年的时光，在路遥笔下铺展开来，没有一点的矫柔造作，没有一点为了作品而作品的嫌疑。给我们展示了一副普通而又内蕴丰富的生活图景。一个平凡人的奋斗历程，一个平凡家庭的奋斗历程，一个平凡人的成长过程。

一直以来我偏爱看一些死去的人写的东西，我觉得这些书或散问或笔记至少经过时间的筛选，到现在都能存在就是一个证据。所以较少看现代的，在一个比较偶然的机会下有幸阅读了《平凡的世界》后，虽谈不上荡气回肠，却令我呆呆地思考了半天。平凡的世界，是的，我们的人生可能很平凡，我们的世界也可能很平凡，不平凡，不简单的，是人，是我们自己。

路遥用深厚的基础，描绘了多个人物的性格，不失客观地书写了那个时代，和那个时代下各种小人物闪烁的人性光芒，我无心去理会别的，使我震撼的，是孙家两兄弟，和他们的恋人，农村与城市双重撞击下的各种美德。

无疑少安与少平如果在同样的环境下，读一样多年的书，他们的各方面几乎是惊人的相似的。但是命不由人，少安13岁就开始了当时看来永无止境的苦力活，而少平在大哥的帮助下读完高中，就是因为读完高中！他们的人生观在几乎相同的时候又几乎完全不相同！少平追求的是一种理想，他与钱财无关，与前途无关，只是一种美好的梦想，只是不甘心一辈子与土地依伴的心理，这是我的理解，因为我自己正处在这样的挣扎。路遥写得如此深刻，写得如此真实，身为80后，不看平凡的世界，实在是一种遗憾。这句话可能有广告的嫌疑，呵呵。

少安是一种比较老成的性格，这是由于他身为兄长的一种天性。当了老大，血液里总有一种照顾小弟小妹们的情感，我家族的大伯当年也是如此，少安！就象我父亲的义弟，我的叔叔，他们这类人，勤勤恳恳，不怕苦吃，只为了家里的人能过上幸福的生活，至于自己，无所谓。他们可以说是自私的，因为他们只为了家人，亲人。他们却是伟大的，因为他们的精神境界在这个年代已经很难寻找。少安面对爱情时的退缩，胆怯，可以说是理智的选择，虽说贫富悬殊已不是问题，可是要看你悬殊到如何的境界。我不可以想象润叶可以象秀莲一样下地干火，烧砖，磨满手老茧，整天灰头土脸，少安如果与润叶结婚，幸福的期限不会超过一年。

这本书里的人物形象无数，辉煌的人物性格也是缤纷至极，让人恨不得一个一个地读到骨子里去。强烈推荐。特别是少安与少平，或许能让我们懂得，人，为什么活着。

最近，我读了一本好书，是著名作家路遥写的《平凡的世界》。读这本书也是因为很偶然的一个原因，记得有一天我打开收音机听广播，刚好听到在播《平凡的世界》，我一下子就被那优美的朗读声和跌宕起伏的故事情节深深吸引住了，妈妈叫我好几遍都没听见。当妈妈跑过来，看到我听得这么入迷，就从书架上给我找出了这本书，并对我说：“这本书写得很令人感动，好好看吧，看完咱俩聊聊感想”。

我一连几天，除了上课、写作业，其余的时间都会抱着这本书看，越看越觉得书中的人物仿佛越加鲜活生动了，他们好像就在我身边，对我说话，在诉说他们的生活中的酸甜苦辣、他们经历的风风雨雨。书中的主人公孙少平是一个出生在普通农民家庭的青年，与那个特定时代的许许多多农村青年一样，孙少平似乎应该安于现状。因为他没有机会上大学，又出身在贫穷本分的农民人家。他注定要像他父亲那样，在这个祖祖辈辈都周而复始的土地上以同一种姿态旋转，跳不出这个圈子，这就是中国的农村，中国的农民。但孙少平没有向自身的命运低头，他了解农村，也了解自己，他从不惧怕劳动，决不同于他那个游手好闲的姐夫王满银。他也不愿和他哥哥孙少安一样，单纯追求一种物质生活上的富足。他决不鄙视农民，但却不想在土地里平淡一生，平凡的小人物，却有着不平凡的思想，成就了不平凡的人生，我敬佩他!

读完《平凡的世界》，让我的心情久久不能平静，和妈妈讨论过对这本书的感想后，更让我明白了80年代人们的艰苦与贫穷，更体会到了现代生活的来之不易，我将更加珍惜现在的生活，并更加努力学习，争取更上一层楼!

平凡的人，不以任何方式存活在这个世上。出生，一个平凡的开始;死亡，一个伟大的结束。

作者路遥是一个土生土长的黄土人，内心被黄土的辽阔和荒凉所深深折服。他的作品也大多以黄土为背景，《平凡的世界》就是这么一本书，以批判的眼光衬托出书中人物的复杂心理，给人一种头顶青天，脚踏黄地的踏实感。这种淳朴的感情和浓浓的爱深深地打动了我。

本书是以孙少平的成长经历和其家庭变化为背景而成的一本书，以极复杂的笔法刻画出了一个个栩栩如生的人物.孙少平从小家庭贫困，每天只吃一个硬面馍馍。但是就在这极艰难的环境中，他遇见了他的“初恋情人”郝红梅，每天他们都不期而遇地在饭堂相遇，并且每天整个学校都是他们两个人最后拿饭。但这种平衡却因为一个人而改变，这个人就是顾养民，红梅偶然发现自己已经爱上了他，于是决定和少平分开，和顾养民在一起。这个打击一直持续到了中学毕业，少平就在“失恋”的阴霾下度过了少年和青年时代。高中毕业后，为分担家里的负担，少平决定放弃学业，到所谓的“大城市”铜川当煤矿工人。清贫的生活和没日没夜的工作使得年少的少平看起来总比其他人更年迈。在这里，他又遇见了另一个恋人：小学同学田晓霞。田晓霞的出现使得少平的生活重新变得阳光起来，每周六和晓霞相见是他最美好的时光，他们相约两年后在小山的树下相见。在这期间，田晓霞成为了一个记者。但悲剧一遍又一遍地发生，去往灾区报道的小霞不幸身亡，听到这个消息后，少平再也不能自己，重新投身到工作中，重新做回了一个普通人。

本书中最让我震惊的是田福堂这个人，田福堂是双水村的村长，到了情节发展过半的时候，他已成为了铜山市的市长，可他的儿女过得一个比一个悲惨，他的女儿田润叶嫁给了一个双腿有残疾的人人，儿子田润生则娶了一个带儿子的寡妇，到了本书的结尾，田福堂受迫于官场的压迫，最终辞官回乡，重新做回了一个平凡的农民。

孟子说：“人之初，性本善。”这句话我一直不太明白。社会上这么多恶人做坏事，难道他们原本也是善良的吗?但读了《悲惨世界》这本书之后，我对这句话有了新的认识。

这本书讲述了一个苦役犯让·瓦让悲惨曲折的故事，他跌宕起伏的命运时刻牵动着我的心。让·瓦让为了他饥饿难捱的孩子偷了一块面包，被判19年苦役。刑满释放后，向往自由的他逃离了政府指定居住地，被警探雅维尔追捕，从此一生过着逃亡的生活。几年后他改名换姓当上了市长，大办慈善，尽自己最大努力帮助穷人。工厂女工芳蒂娜因生活所迫过着屈辱卑贱的生活，临终前把自己的女儿托付给了让·瓦让。为了这个承诺让·瓦让历尽艰辛找到珂赛特，并哺育她长大成人。为了救珂赛特深爱的恋人——马里尤斯，他参加了巴黎友社的革命战争，并冒着生命危险就出了马里尤斯。当马里尤斯和珂赛特结婚时，让·瓦让将自己的身份告诉了两位年轻人，却不料被马里尤斯误解，带着珂赛特离他而去。他终日郁郁寡欢，日渐衰弱，内心无法原谅自己的罪行。当马里尤斯消除了误解，和珂赛特赶回修道院时，他已经奄奄一息。此时的他内心平静祥和，迎着上帝的召唤，问心无愧地与世长辞。

合上书，我的眼前出现了一位高大消瘦、目光炯炯、一脸正气的人物形象——让·瓦让。他心地善良，自身的经历让他深深地关怀和同情生活在底层的贫苦群众。当他有了钱之后，他不是附庸于上流社会，也不是满足于自身的享乐，而是救助穷人，开办工厂，帮助他们渡过难关。他重承诺、守信用。芳蒂娜与他非亲非故，只为一个临终嘱托，他重金赎回被酒店老板折磨的珂赛特，尽心尽力养育她长大，让她远离贫穷、疾病和冷漠，最重要的是有尊严地活着。在安稳平静的环境下，珂赛特出落成一位美丽、善良、纯洁的姑娘，并与马利尤斯相识相爱，收获幸福。

更难能可贵的是，虽历经种.种生活的不公正，让·瓦让仍然保持着一颗宽容博大的心。ABC友社抓到雅维尔，交给让·瓦让处死，面对这个追捕了他一辈子的警探，让却放走了雅维尔。起义失败后，雅维尔又抓住了让·瓦让和马利尤斯。在这里，让·瓦让没有被苦难和不公摧毁他的精神世界，没有用仇恨来对抗仇恨，没有用暴力来对抗暴力，而是用宽容完成了自我信仰的升华。而雅维尔的结局也完成了自我灵魂的救赎，两个人的行为都折射着人性的光辉。

是的，每个人生来都是善良的，那么为什么仍有人犯罪?这个世界仍有罪恶?作者雨果说：只要法律和习俗造成的社会惩罚依然存在，在文明鼎盛时期人为地制造地狱，在神赋予的命运之上人为地妄加噩运;只要本世纪的三大问题——男人因贫穷而沉沦，女人因饥饿而堕落，儿童因黑暗而愚蒙——得不到解决;只要在有些地区，社会窒息的现象依然存在，恶性就会存在。所以，在我看来，人性虽本善，但善的人性需要健全的制度和法律来维护，需要社会上所有的人用宽容来呵护。

梁老师解读《平凡的世界》第一讲——“想说爱你不容易”，又一次把我带回到那个年代平凡的世界。

孙少安，有魄力、有魅力的男子汉，他有青梅竹马的田润叶，也有他的贴心、善良、坚强的贺秀莲；金波，风一般的男子，他向往美好的爱情，在军马场与美丽的藏族姑娘一曲《在那遥远的地方》彼此倾慕，在挣脱心的束缚之后，勇敢寻觅真爱。

孙少平和田晓霞之间的爱情是书中最浪漫的。田晓霞是孙少平思想上的启蒙者，是开启孙少平思想的钥匙。高中时就给孙少平带来参考消息等内部材料，与孙少平交流自己的思想，孙少平也被这姑娘的思想所震惊。可以说没有田晓霞思想上的引领，孙少平很难自己有后来如此广阔深邃的思想。

生活上他们天壤之别，思想上他们是“知己”，他们的爱情是真正把对方放在心中的。每次田晓霞和孙少平聊天时，总会聊一些孙少平拥有的，来保护孙少平的自尊。田晓霞在孙少平心中永远是洒脱、大方、勇敢、思想眼界开阔。田晓霞的牺牲结束了他们之间的伟大爱情，孙少平得知田晓霞牺牲消息后在大雨里狂奔到田晓霞的报社。田晓霞有三本日记写着有关她对孙少平的感情，孙少平失去精神支柱的痛苦只能在每日劳动里减轻这痛苦，路遥在给田晓霞结局之后，说了一句话：生活中的每一个人却在不断地失去自己最珍贵的东西。

孙少平诠释着不凡，勇于走出肉体的圈子，奔向他所向往的精神世界，我想大牙湾煤矿不是终点，是他思考人生意义的起点……

Joy depicts the crisis of faith that overes Rabbi Banish of Komarov， who， having buried his four sons and two daughters. Only through the mercy of the God he has denied， manifest in a radiant vision of the dead Rebecca， his beloved youngest daughter， is the rabbi’s belief restored. The sense of wonder and the touch of heavenly joy that linger after the vision dissolves convince Rabbi Banish of the folly of judging God’s actions by human standards. The rabbi has interpreted the apparent tragedy of his children’s premature deaths as evidence of God’s alienation， forgetting that God is by definition inscrutable. That God’s purpose transcends man’s ability to prehend it is made clear to the expiring rabbi when the family dead approach his deathbed with arms outstretched to enfold him among them. For theirs is the kingdom of heaven to which a loving God has called them; and their deaths have evidenced not God’s wrath but his grace.

A version of Rabbi Banish’s deathbed revelation appears to Rabbi Nechemia in Something Is There. At twenty-seven he is already racked by the doubts that torment Rabbi Banish. So shaken is his belief in God that he deserts his rabbinical post in provincial Bechev for the flesh-posts of Warsaw. Although the prostitutes， unclean food， and shady business dealings which he witnesses there hold no attraction for the erstwhile rabbi， they intensify his revulsion from the world created by God and therefore his alienation from God himself. Unlike Rabbi Bainish， whose intimations of immortality and consequent rededication to God precede his radiant deathbed vision， Rabbi Nechemia cannot allay his doubts until the very moment of death， when a light he never knew was there flickered in hid brain.

While his dying words—something is there—resolve his crisis of faith， they e too late to affect the spiritual renewal attained by Rabbi Banish. No explicit promise of immortality， let along of salvation， attends Rabbi Nechemia’s vision. Perhaps grace is accorded Rabbi Banish because his doubt is triggered by devastating personal losses， and withheld from Rabbi Nechemia because his despair is the bitter fruit of idle speculation about the unknown. Whatever the reason， relatively few of Singer’s characters are granted at the moment of death the transcendent vision of unity between man and God that appears to Rabbi Banish in Joy. For the fortunate few， release from time into eternity is affected by a divine visitation which obliterates distinctions between past and present， living and dead.

These kinds of characters are lost in their world because of the seducement of the material world. They doubt their formal faith and gradually give up what they believed. But after they have experienced so much hardship， they realize that they cannot adapt to the life of the outer world so they regress to the former life with formal faith. They realize the importance of God and they begin to think seriously about the relationship between man and God. At last they find their right way of their life.

When I first saw The Truman Show I came out of the theatre amazed. This is your first clue that you are watching something different from your normal Jim Carrey movie. I love the dialogue, camera shot, performances, direction, music, and running time of this movie. There is nothing I would do to change it. I came away from The Truman Show feeling inspired which is the goal of good filmmaking Jim Carrey was outstanding as Truman, underplaying him, not making him too comic or too dramatic, but giving true sincerity when asked. He deserved an Oscar nomination. Ed Harris has always been a good actor, but in this movie hes a great actor. He plays Christof with such arrogance and bullheadedness that you dont know whether hes helping or destroying Truman. He and the director, Peter Weir, deserved their Oscar nods.

Weir, who directed the great Witness, uses different camera angles to make you feel like youre actually watching The Truman Show and not a movie. He ends it before you get tired of the concept and helped Carrey and Harris give immaculate performances. Andrew Niccol script is a real star in the movie too because of its inventiveness and ingenuity. Overall, The Truman Show is what I like to call a true American classic.

读了这本书，我体会到了冉阿让的正直、芳丁那伟大的母爱，珂塞特的不幸与万幸，德纳第的心狠手辣，沙威的冷酷和马洛斯保家卫国的精神。我明白了正直，善良，伟大与冷酷，邪恶。

这部由人民文学出版社1984年3月出版的《悲惨世界》共五部，每一部都有一个名称，最后一部的名称便是《冉阿让》。虽然这部书塑造了许许多多来自社会各阶层的人物形象，比如芳汀、珂赛特、马吕斯、德纳第夫妇等等，但最打动我的人，还是冉阿让。

他曾经是一个苦役犯，他从监狱里逃了出来，一生背负着罪的包袱，但他有着善良的心，一颗比任何人都善良的心。他热心地帮助别人，他关心被生活所迫已经沦为暗娼的芳汀，他前去解救被德纳第夫妇任意欺凌的小珂赛特，他甚至放走了一直想要抓他的沙威。

可是，当他抚养长大的珂赛特嫁给了马吕斯后，他却感觉自己仍然是一个有罪的人，无法和珂赛特生活在一起，因为这样，他的良心会感到不安。于是，他让珂赛特不再称呼他父亲，自己离开了珂赛特一家。

得知真相的珂赛特和马吕斯迅速找到了冉阿让，而此时冉阿让已经快要死去了，这位内心强大的人，在生命的最后说出的是这样充满温情的句子，因为他看到了珂赛特，他唯一的亲人，他对珂赛特说：

Here I am sitting on a couch alone thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadness filling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishness of the secular world for a long time. The resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindness and the wickedness of all the characters in the novel but what this aloof society lacks and what I lack deep inside. Mr. Brownlow is one such person.

The other day he had one of his elaborate watches stolen by two skilled teenage thieves Artful Dodger and Charley Bates and thought naturally it was Oliver who was an orphan and forced to live with a gang of thieves that had done it because he was the only one near by after the theft had taken place. Being wrathful he caught Oliver and sent him to the police station where the ill-tempered unfair magistrates worked. Fortunately for him Oliver was proved innocent by one onlooker afterwards. With sympathy Mr. Brownlow took the injured poor Oliver to his own home. There Oliver lived freely and gleefully for some months as if he were Mr. Brownlow’s own son. One day however Mr. Brownlow asked Oliver to return some books to the bookseller and to send some money for the new books that he had already collected. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brownlow’s life. Searching for a while Mr. Brownlow had to believe the fact that he had run away with his money. But dramatically they came across each other again a few years later. Without hesitation Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil.

Perhaps most of us would feel confused about Mr. Brownlow’s reaction. But as a matter of fact this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not seven times but seventy-times seven.” Why is that? Because forgiveness is our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for. We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a second chance no matter what they might have done. That’s also a substantial part of loving and caring others.

Then there are Mrs. Maylie and Rose Oliver’s other benefactors. Maybe the reason they loved and cared Oliver was not because of forgiveness. In my point of view it was trust. They had faith in Oliver when he was considered to be a filthy burglar who tried to break the front door of Maylie’s at midnight. But this wasn’t how these two ladies saw the whole thing. They denied Oliver’s crime immediately and listened attentively to Oliver’s own description of his miserable life. They were deeply touched by Oliver’s strong perseverance and astonishing vitality. Accordingly they remedied Oliver’s body and heart and turned him into a different boy. He began to wear appropriate and clean suits which were tailor-made for him and receive education.

As far as we can see it is trust that helps us all live together without precaution. Sometimes trust can even lead us to miracles which we often expect to come about so why not trust? Trust yourself trust others and you’ll salute miracles every single day.

In the novel though the young Oliver again and again fell for conspiracies of those hideous thieves who tried to torture Oliver’s body and poisoned Oliver’s heart intensely he always lived on and tried hard to seek for his own life. Then I realized what supported him all through were actually beliefs. In most cases what you believe is what you’ll become. Believe that you are unlimited that you can do anything you commit to doing and when you do your accomplishments will know no bounds. You control your beliefs and that is how you ultimately control your life. It’s all dictated by your attitude.

In the final analysis love and care contain numerous forms there are love of forgiveness love of trust etc. but they all come from your beliefs in life. When someone tells you he’s deceived you forgive him anyway when someone tells you what he’s done trust him anyway and when you face adversities while chasing your dreams think about your beliefs then what hinders you will become a piece of cake in no time.

So find out “Olivers” in your life and do as Mr. Brownlow and Mrs. Maylie do: love them and care them which cost nothing but save much. They enrich those who receive without impoverishing those who give. They can be certain smallest words or actions but the memory of them sometimes last forever.

Charles Dickens said:“Love makes the world go around.” These immortal words have inspired and will keep on inspiring us to chant the melody of love and to say the prayer of care forevermore.
