walked faster. Suddenly he saw an old woman staggering forward with a stick in

her hand. She hadnt got an umbrella with her and was wet all over. Tom went up

to her and tried to share his umbrella with her. But the old woman was tall and

he was too short to hold it high enough. Then he saw the old womans stick and a

good idea came to him. He tried hard to tie the stick to the handle of the

umbrella. Then the umbrella was long enough for both of them. The old woman

thanked him again and again. Then they went on walking home.

I was happy this summer holiday! Do you know why? Because I had enjoyed a good summer holiday!In the morning, sometimes I went toYueXiuParkto play badmintonwith my families or friends. We always went to McDonalds to have lunch afterwe finish the game. My sister and me like swimming, so in the afternoon, wewent to swimming with our father. It was so cool! It feels so great to swim insuch hot summer days.

夏天是一年中最好的时光。学校里没有几个月我要做我想做的事。没有家庭作业，我像一只自由的小鸟。

I do many things during the summer vacation.I relax by reading books watching TV.I also hang out with my friends travel with my family.However,I dont play in summer.I take advantage of the free time to learn more.For example,last summer I learned to swim.This summer I might study computers or English.Summer vacation flies by fast,so its important to do as as you can.

我做很多事情，暑假期间。通过读书和看电视来放松自己。我也挂出与我的朋友和我的家人去旅游。然而，我在夏天不玩。我利用业余时间学习更多。例如，去年夏天我学会了游泳。这个暑假我可能学习计算机或英语。暑假过的很快，所以重要的是要做，你可以。

眼看日子一天天过去了，我最期待的暑假即将到来了，这次的暑假我一定要好好的充实自己，学英语、素描、数学……等，好好的安排我的暑假生活，让它充实又快乐。

暑假一开始，我马上去学游泳、英语。刚开始在学英语时，老师在讲什么我都听不懂，俗话说得好：「要学就要问」，所以我就把不会的问题勇敢的举手告诉老师，经由老师细心的解释，再加上我已经学了二、叁年，本来对英语懵懵懂懂的我，现在已经可以跟外国人对话了，还可以很流畅的说出一句生活用语。所以学英语对我来说，真是受益良多，我不但没有辜负老师的期望，也没有浪费父母的钱，真是事半功倍啊!

游泳对我来说，就像是下地狱般的痛苦!因为我害怕游泳，我害怕被同学嘲笑我穿起泳衣很胖，可是我心中的小天使却告诉我说：婕宁，不要害怕，妳不要害怕游泳，不要害怕同学会嘲笑妳，妳只要学好妳该学的就好了。结果，游泳并不是我想像中的那样难，想不到同学根本就不会嘲笑我，老师也对我很好。虽然在学习的过程中有一些小挫折，但是我还是努力的克服了，我学会了仰式、蛙式、自由式、蝶式，而且还通过了九级检定，这一切都是老师的功劳。所以，以后如果有人溺水，我就可以自告奋勇的去救他了。

我的.暑假生活充实又精采，现在是五年级，还有最后一次童年暑假，期待下一次暑假的来临，做我未实现的梦想。
