对我而言，这个暑假是最漫长的，也是最有意义的。

刚放假的时候，心情是无比兴奋的，以为可以不用读书，66无虑地玩两个月。第一、二个星期，每天躲在房间里上网，除了三餐时间，白天都在楼上。从第三个星期开始，就觉得在家很无聊，整天对着电脑发呆。没有同学、老师在身边，听不到朗朗的书声，周围的一切事物都变得无趣，慢慢觉得空虚。

一个月还不曾过去，就开始盼望着开学，回忆着与同学们在一起的快乐时光，便觉得时间好漫长，从来没有觉得时间如此漫长。

第二天的旅程又开始了，去参观一期望已久的地方——明清宫苑，跨进城门，我们被眼前的一切惊呆了，一座威严而壮丽的皇宫展现在眼前!宽敞的紫禁城里隐藏着无数的秘密，我们不想错过这一切，我们租了一辆车，向里面骑，由东往西逐一游览，特意停留了我们梦寐的御花园，果不其然，园内花卉，景物，典故让人惊叹。绕过偏门来到了紫禁大殿，眼前的壮景更是让人目瞪口呆，高大的建筑配上完美的装饰，让这威严的皇宫显示的更加生动形象，皇宫屋顶上的每一砖一瓦都表示着皇上的。让我们感受到了她特有的沉稳，大气和历史的沧桑。这次的旅游让我大开眼界，不得不佩服古人的智慧。

景点看完了，我们要回去了，我这才发现我对横店依依不舍，我知道了什么叫珍惜，什么叫难得一见。

Elephant is the largest animal on land today. It weights some ninety kilograms and is about one metre high when born. When it is 12 years old, it studs over three meters and does not grow any more. Elephant is and will continue to be one of the greatest creatures man has ever come into contact with. Its size. beauty, and power willforever be useful to man.

In spite of the flood disaster, a good harvest is still in sight.

Yesterday we went to a nearby village to help the peasants get in the crops. We left our school early in the morning. It took us half an hour to reach the village. As soon as we got there, we joined the peasants in their harvesting work. They taught us how to cut rice, and how to tie it. It was in the fields that we had our lunch. After lunch, we had a short rest. We were fascinated by the beautiful scenery of the countryside. It got dark when we returned home. We were very tired, but we felt very happy.
