Now we are facing two problems of global warming and a shortage of natural

resources, both of which are getting more and more serious day by day. Thus, it

is important for us to promote a low-carbon lifestyle.

Low-carbon lifestyle covers many aspect of our life like transportation,

traveling, home-heating, and so on. In order to promote a low-carbon life, some

plans must be carried out as follows. Firstly, don’t waste any electricity and

water. Remember to turn off the lights and water taps unless we use them.

Secondly, we had better take the subways or bus to work, so as to reduce the

emissions of carbon dioxide. Thirdly, we should use cloth bags for shopping

instead of plastic bags, and use recyclable bowls and chopsticks instead of

disposable ones, for it can not only save resources, but also reduce pollution.

What’s more, it is of great significance to plant more trees, since trees can

balance the carbon dioxide emissions.

In a word, if we live a low-carbon life from now on, we will have a better

Stress is a state of being upset that happens when we are under pressure.

Mid-autumn Day is a Chinese festival. It usually comes in September or

October .On that day we usually eat a big dinner and mooncakes. It is said "Hou

Yi" missed his wife，so he made mooncakes. It looks like the moon.

There are many kinds of mooncakes. They are small round cakes with meat，

nuts or something sweet inside . eating mooncakes has been our custom. Families

stay outside in the open air eat a big dinner and mooncakes. The most important

thing is looking at the moon， On that day， the moon kooks brighter and rounder.

We call this moon the full moon.

On that day， families get together， so we call this day getting together.

This is Mid-autumn Day. I love it very much. Because on that day I can eat

mooncakes. And my brother comes back home. He works outside all year. Only that

day and the Spring Festival. He comes back. So that day I am especially happy.

Water is a kind of liquid. It has no taste or smell. It is transparent, too. Water is useful and is important to us. Why? For example, we use water to water the plants. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean. I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we have had about whether an entrance fee should be charged for parks. 60% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee do not meet people’s expectations, for a park is considered to be a place where the public can have a good time when they are not busy either at home or at work. If an entrance fee must be paid by the visitors for a park, it will be necessary to build a gate and surrounding walls. In the end a city will take on a bad look. 40% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee can be accepted, but it must not be too expensive. The money from ticket selling can be used for paying the gardeners in the park and buying some other kinds of flowers and trees.

In daily life we are often faced with choices.More often than not,we have

to make cardinal decisions indepentently.This moment is very important for

opportunities that arise.On one hand,we should have an apparent,objective
