人们常说：“爆竹声声辞旧岁，欢歌笑语迎春来。”的确，劳累了一年的中国人总爱在除夕之夜以最热闹的方式迎接新年的到来，故而燃放烟花爆竹便成为庆祝的方式之一。

“噼里啪啦……”门外传来一阵阵震耳欲聋的爆竹声，炸开后的爆竹碎片满地都是，火红火红的，伴随着它的还有那刺鼻的气味。这种浓烟和气味不只出现在我家，家家户户都充满了爆竹燃烧后释放出的浓烟，甚至整条街道、整个天空，空气非常难闻。

吃完了饭，我好奇地问爸爸：“爸爸，放这么多爆竹会不会破坏环境呢？”

“应该会吧。”爸爸回答道。

我又问：“那为什么还要放？”

爸爸：“这样热闹，图个喜庆，当然是要放的了。”我十分不理解。

清晨，我高高兴兴地跑出家门，却被扑鼻而来的浓烟呛得直咳嗽。我不由得想到：过年放烟花爆竹确实给节日添了一份喜庆，一份热闹，同时也带来了危险。

燃放烟花爆竹时产生有毒气体，会对环境造成破坏，如空气中的PM2。5浓度升高，产生大量的二氧化硫、二氧化氮等有害气体，这些气体可以在大气中聚积，造成大地越来越热，南极冰川不断融化。

还有不少人因为燃放烟花爆竹而受伤。那些顽皮的小孩在燃放爆竹的过程中，由于爆竹的威力强大，一不小心就有可能被炸伤眼睛、手指等，这可关系到孩子的未来。

门外的浓烟渐渐消散，我的心绪却并未消去。我相信，只要我们减少燃放烟花爆竹，地球就会减少一些负担，世界将会变得更加美好，金城江这座山城才会更加美丽。

保护环境人人有责。我期待我们的家园越来越美好！

这几天我通过调查，发现了很多污染环境的现象。比如：涟水河畔来来往往的人很多，有的人往河里扔垃圾、丢果皮等，原本清澈的河水变得浑浊；美丽的碧洲公园地面上可见来往行人随手丢弃的果皮垃圾，变得不堪入眼；公园内的洗手间，行人大小便之后没有及时冲水，变得臭气熏天；还有随意放鞭炮和焚烧垃圾现象，让清新的空气弥漫了烟雾和灰尘。

Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Recently,haze weather has become a usual phenomenon here in large part of China. 这是一个阳光明媚的中午，我和母亲高高兴兴地下楼散步，无意中，我发现在绿油油的草坪上有一个废旧的、脏兮兮的电池。电池可是危害我们生存环境的一大杀手！一粒小小的钮扣电池可污染600立方米水，相当于一个人一生的饮水量；一节一号电池烂在地里，能使一平方米的土地失去利用价值，并造成永久性公害。想到这，我跑到母亲跟前把这件事儿说了一遍，我又说：“母亲，我想把废电池扔到垃圾箱里。”母亲觉得我说得很有道理，我欢快地跑到废电池旁边，心想：我真是做了一件有意义的事啊！我轻轻地捡起废电池，扔进了垃圾箱里。

“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之。”作为一名小学生，我们要从我做起，从小事儿做起，从身边做起，从现在做起，捡起地上每一片纸屑，爱护花草树木，关爱小动物。让我们一起去寻找绿的世界，让我们的世界变得更加美好！

寒假里，哥哥带着我参观了“话说低碳”展览。

我们一走进科技管，就看见一个地球飘浮在一个透明的塑料壳里。听了哥哥的介绍，我明白了原来是磁力的作用。

在一路的参观中，最吸引我的是“3种灯和一个问题”的展板。第一种灯是LED灯，第二种是节能灯，第三种是白炽灯，问题是哪个灯用点最少？结果是LED灯是用电最少的，白炽灯用电最多，节能灯居中。

我问我哥哥，我们家里用的是哪一种灯？哥哥告诉我说是LED灯。我真开心，我们家用的居然是最省电的电灯。

不过，为了减少环境污染，为环境保护出一份力，虽然我家用的是最节能的LED灯，但是我也要少开灯。我回家还要劝爸爸妈妈少开车，多走路。也为绍兴的环境保护出份力。

保护环境，人人有责。只要每个人都能从身边的小事做起，我们的环境会变得越来越干净，我们的生活也会变得越来越美好。

When I was very small, I lived in my hometown. My grandparents raised two

dogs, and I liked them very much. I watched them grow up from the little animals

to the big dogs. Every time when I leaved home for school, they would follow me

for some distance. When I walked a little far away, they would turn home. When I

went home after school, they would wait for me in the door and swayed their

tails. I knew they were welcoming me home. They were like my family members and

I learned that animals are part of our nature. We should protect them. We can

create a harmonious society.

Saving Water

The world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink and use the other 3% -- the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes,underground, and other sources. And we cannot even use all of that, because some of it is in the form of icebergs and glaciers. Even worse, some of it has been polluted.

However, as things stand today, this small amount of fresh water, which is constantly being replaced by rainfall, is still enough for us. But our need for water is increasing rapidly-- almost day by day. Only if we take steps to deal with this problem now can we avoid a severe worldwide water shortage later on. A limited water supply would have a bad effect on agriculture and industry. Let me give you just one small exampie of how necessary water is to industry. Did you know that to produce a single ton of steel, it takes about 91, 000 liters of water?

We all have to learn how to stop wasting our precious water. One of the first steps we should take is to develop ways of reusing it. Experiments have already been done in this field, but only on a small scale. For us, the systems are as important as the spacecraft.

节约用水

我们的世界不仅饥饿，而且因为缺水而干渴。对你来说这可能似乎奇怪：因为我们的地球表面75%由水覆盖着。但是，这巨大的数量中97%是海水、或咸水。只有剩下3%

的来自河流、湖泊、地下，和其他来源的淡水供人们饮用、使用。即使如此，这3%的水源我们也不能够完全使用，因为有些淡水是以冰山或冰河的形式存在。更糟糕的是，一些水源已遭受了污染。

然而，尽管按现状看来，这些少量的淡水即使时常转化成雨水的形式，对我们来说，也仍然够用。可是我们对水的需求却日益迅速增长。我们只有现在采取措施解决这一问

题才能避免未来世界范围内的严重水资源缺乏。限量供水会对农业和工业产生不良的影响。我们举个小小的事例就能证明水对工业的必要性。每生产一吨钢材就要消耗91，000升水，你知道吗?

我们必须杜绝对宝贵水资源的浪费。我们应该采取的第一步就是要发展水再利用的方法。该领域的实验已在进行，但是仅是小规模地进行。水资源再利用系统的重要性

对我们而言，与空间站不相上下。

环境对我们来说就像生命一样，就像母亲一样，如果我们是一颗小树，环境就是浇灌我们的水渠，离开了环境，我们的人类就会遭到很多灾难乃至灭顶之灾，这不是危言耸听。

然而，我们的身边环境变得越来越糟糕了，有一次，我走在路上，一阵清风吹过，忽然一大片垃圾在地上打起转来，非常难看，还有一些很小的纸片在空中飞舞起来，看着四周的舞蹈者，我的心里很难过，还有一次，我因为踩到了地上香蕉皮摔倒了，腿上还出了很多的血，当时我非常生气，是谁把这些扔到了道上，这些人的素质也太差了。

我们都希望有一个环境优美的家园，但是，你想过吗？当你走在绿油油的草地的时候，你有没有听到小草的哭泣声：又是你把我的发型才乱了，当你在树上刻字的时候，你有没有想到大树正在流眼泪：不要在我身上刻字，我很疼，当你采一朵小花的时候，你有没有想到它的姐妹在对你说：请不要把我的妹妹抢走，当你把一张废纸扔在地上的时候，你有没有听到大地在对你说：不要把纸扔在我的身上，我很不舒服，当你听到这些的时候，我相信你一定对自己的行为感到羞愧，你一定会保护花草，爱护树木，不乱扔垃圾，如果我们每个人都这么做，以身作则，那么我们的城市，我们的家园就会和以前不一样，我们的环境就会更加清新美好，舒心。

爱护环境是我们共同的责任，是一种美德，是一种要求，如果我们连自己的家园都保护不好，那么我们人类生存的意义又在哪里呢，面对我们失去的美好环境我们是多么痛心啊，痛心之后呢 ？我们不能视而不见听而不闻，麻木不仁，我们是城市的主人，我们是家园的主人，所有的环境都与我们息息相关，我们必须瞪大眼睛，保护我们的环境， 树立环保意识，把环境看做我们的生命，看做我们生存的希望，如果我们环境都没有了 ，生存的空间都没有了，那么我们只 能灭亡，未来的环境问题，应该是最大的问题。 我希望在不久的生活中，人人都能树立环境意识，让我们从现在开始，一个小小的弯腰，捡起的不仅仅是纸片，更是一种品德，一种温暖暖，让我们一起和环境手拉手，一起迎接美好的太阳，人人需要文明，城市需要文明， 我们需要文明，那么就从我们身边开始。

地球是我们可爱的家，没有地球又怎么会有我们人类存在呢？

这类垃圾分类在21世纪是个热门的话题，在2019年上海成为全国首个垃圾分类城市；同年，大连在每个垃圾分类站设有监督管理员；现在垃圾分类不是靠自觉，而是变了质，变成了强制性分类。

冰川融化的元凶就是全球气候变暖。亚特兰蒂斯文明的沉没并非人为破坏，而是因为火山爆发引发海啸而淹没的。可现在威尼斯就不一样了，科学家预测，它将在二零四五年淹没。这可并非是自然灾害了。而是全球气候变暖而导致冰川融化使海平面上升，每年2厘米！别以为这个数目小，如果用相等容器装起来，那相当于好几栋楼啊！

物种灭绝也是环境恶化一大原因。地球上，每三分钟就会有一种生物灭绝，白鳍豚、穿山甲、狮子、山猫等都是濒临灭绝的物种。正因为人类过度开发，环境恶化，使它们无家可归最终死亡。

保护环境，不是一句口号。
