Each year, people burn or cut down 143,000 square kilometers (55,000 square

miles) of the forest. People who burn or cut down trees do it for different

reasons: farmers cut down trees in order to get more fertilize lands to grow

rice or vegetables, and use the woods as fuel. Timber companies cut down trees

and turn them into furniture or paper productions. As to goal miners, they

remove the forests to find out whether there are goal underground.

However, many of us fail to realize that forests are the lungs of the

earth. When we cut down trees, we also push ourselves in to a dangerous

situation. That is the global warming. When you come to think about it, there

are only few ways to solve these negative effects: stop cutting down trees

blindly; try to find some clear energy that can replace oil and coal. But these

solutions can be impractical to some degreed.

Why trees can be so important to the whole nature? First of all, trees are

the habitat of many animals. When we cut down trees, we not only destroy

animals’ habitats but also ourselves. We just gradually destroy natural links.

The result is that many spices of animals and plants are dying out. Secondly,

cutting down trees cause global warming, to some degree. Naturalists compare

forest to human’s lungs. The forests absorb the carbon dioxide and other gas

that cause global warming, and then give off the oxygen that good for the human

beings and other living creatures. It’s refreshed the air as well as reduced the

noise. If the air quality is bad, people may die from cancers, or the new

diseases for which they have no immunity. Forests also play an important role in

the prevention of natural disasters. Warmer temperatures cause water to expand

and also create more water by melting polar ice caps. That’s to say, the nations

which near the ocean may have been flooded by the water. But the forests can

prevent water loss and soil erosion, and cool off the global temperatures. It’s

the key to keep the balance of the nature.

Sometimes people only care about money making; they don’t care about the

price we pay for the pollution. When the disaster is around the corner, we may

be afraid and frustrated. The earth, on which our economies have always been

based, is suddenly threatening our existence. All we hope that is this

overpopulated, over industrialized planet can carry on for a longer time. And

maybe, it’s time for us to realize that we should protect the earth, stop

cutting down trees blindly and madly.

Recently, I have seen an impressive film—“Meet the Parents”, which is about

a woman Palm brought her boyfriend Greg to her parents’ home to spend holiday.

In the film, Greg was so dishonest to Palm’s parents that Palm’s father is

suspicious of his behavior and quality. As a result, Greg is obnoxious to all

and has to leave. As far as I am concerned, the consequence is heavily caused by

his dishonesty. If Greg could be real him all the time, he would get much

respect and appreciation and would not get much frustration. From the film, I

have learned that being honest was extremely important and necessary. In other

words, being honest is a basic principle for us to deal with others.

But I still believe that these are just a few cases, since honesty is

相信大家都外出旅游过吧，会去过各种各样的地方来体验大自然的魅力，我也曾去过一些旅游景点，让我记忆深刻的就是去参观洛阳的龙门石窟了。

去年寒假，爸爸开车带我们去龙门石窟玩，我们买过票，刚进大门没过久，就听见有潺潺的流水声，原来这竟然有一条大河呀!水面上朦朦胧胧，像披上了一层银纱，可真让人心旷神怡，在路旁有个小池子，牌上写着“禹王池”，清澈的池水还冒着淡淡的白气，它深深的吸引了我，伸手一摸，哇，这水竟然是温的，这池塘里的小鱼是可真幸福，你看，它们游的是多么欢快呢。

这里的石头就如同精心设计了一般，在上面好像画上优美的图画，这块石头那一块石头都非常的好看，这里也有一块墨绿色的石头，里面镶嵌着白色的花纹，仿佛是一朵盛开的牡丹，所以它就叫做‘牡丹石’，没想到它竟然是自然形成的呢。

在这里我们也买了几颗五彩石，它们就像一个个小鸡蛋一样，不过它上面的花纹可真好看，让我爱不释手。

下面我们该去参观那些石窟佛像了，这里面的石窟很多，每一个都有他独特的风格，有小的有大的，各种各样，千姿百态，活灵活现。

那些石窟佛像有的双手并合，有的端坐平台，缓缓落下，有的结伴飞舞，谈笑风生，有的怀抱古琴，边弹边唱，有的手捧莲花，坐在莲上，这些石窟可真是栩栩如生，就犹如在参观一个个美妙的画卷。

不过在这里石窟佛像大部分已经又残缺了，所以我们一定要爱护它们，不要再伸手去摸去碰它们了。

在这里还有很多外国人来参观，他们应该也想了解中国的文化，来看看伟大的祖国的名胜古迹，他们有的也不时发出赞叹的声音呢。

龙门石窟，你的身上闪烁着古代劳动人民勤劳智慧的光芒，诉说着昔日的辉煌，斑驳的痕迹告诉我们这就叫历史。

I am not fond of basketball,let alone to play it.But I have seen a

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. In rivers, seas and oceans, there are industrial wastes. Some factories just throw their wastes into seas or let them flow into rivers. When people drink the water from such rivers, they get poisoned. Besides, there is rubbish from ships and when sometimes an accident occurs in an ocean, oil flows out from tankers.

On land, the accumulation of rubbish in the streets may dirty the city and ruin our health. This is mainly due to the improper disposal of rubbish by people.

春去夏来，葡萄熟了，大串大串的从叶子缝里垂了下来。它们晶莹透明，像是用水晶和玉石雕刻出来的，又活像颗颗巨大的紫色珍珠，个个水灵灵的，看着就使人口水直流。这时，大人们架起梯子，摘下了一串又一串。我迫不及待地摘了一颗圆润的葡萄，轻轻扒开葡萄皮，一个嫩嫩的果肉呈现在你的眼前。果肉半透明的看上去像水晶，像玛瑙，散发着迷人的香味，使人口水直流。扔进嘴，啊!好甜呀!

今天，我、弟弟、爸爸妈妈和叔叔一起到永安摘葡萄。到了葡萄园，一眼望去都是白茫茫一片大棚种殖地。听伯伯说，他种了50多亩地的葡萄，我对50多亩地还很模糊，只知道面积很大。

要摘葡萄了，我们小朋友每人拿了一把剪刀，原来摘葡萄不是用手去摘，是要用剪刀剪的。一进大棚，我就看见了那密实实、郁葱葱的叶子下，一串串葡萄似一座座珍珠塔，如堆堆翡翠珠垂挂下来，每一颗葡萄都像一颗又大又光泽的“猫儿眼”，使人口生蜜意，甜沁心脾。我摘了一串葡萄，看上去非常好吃，但是没有洗过，我觉得太脏不卫生，所以我就不吃了。弟弟因为太高兴就从大棚上摔下来脚滑破。我突然看见一种叫“水晶”的葡萄，长长的，绿绿的，晶莹透明，真像是用水晶和玉石雕刻出来似的。让我明白了，因为手上拿着剪刀，所以在摘葡萄的时候一定要更加小心。

我们来到另一个大棚，一进去我就发现葡萄颜色和个头的变化，一种是和第一个鹏一样的，但是还有一种一整串都是绿色的，它叫“红富士”，听伯伯说它要到9月份才可以完全成熟，它成熟后的颜色是粉红色的。大家都很嘴馋，爸爸看看我们的样子，就摘下一串给我们分着吃，大家都吃得津津有味，但是我还是嫌它脏，没有吃。突然下雨了，雨水打在大棚上，就像泉水的歌声好听极了。雨水从缝里滑落下来，形成了天然自然水，让我们尽情的冲洗手和脚。

之后，经过我不懈努力，好不容易把皮带从姐姐手里抢了过来，把它藏得严严实实的，却还是被姐姐看见了。啊，苍天饶过谁，我太倒霉了。计策没用，我只能认命了，因此还多挨了几鞭。被打完之后，我的姐姐又火上浇油，给妈妈说让她给我报辅导班。我的心顿时碎了百八块，唉，看来我又要倒霉了。我妈让我在家里看书，她去报辅导班。妈妈刚走，坏心眼儿的姐姐又在我面前讽刺我，说让我不好好学习。过一大会儿妈妈回来了，说：辅导班我都给你报了明天去试听。一听这话我顿时傻眼了，我现在的心情简直就是难受想哭。

妈妈给我报了这么多的课，虽然多，但是可以交很多朋友的，我又想，妈妈这也是为了我好，我就想每次上课好好听讲，争取比现在的成绩好，每天进步一点点就可以了。因为妈妈对我的要求不高，每次只要进步就达到她对我的要求了。

纵观中华历史，有辉煌，有屈辱，有南北东西沃野万里，有各持一方割据盘踞，读一本中国上下五千年，如同欣赏一幅五彩缤纷，炫丽动人的风景画。

生命也是如此，我们的生命从一开始，好似一张空白的宣纸，等待我们用时间演绎出色彩并在上面画出属于我们自己的精彩!

我为生命着色。

儿时的我喜欢拿起画笔画出各种的自己，把自己的脸蛋画出红色，好像红苹果一样，那表示我非常非常的开心;如果在眼睛下面画上几个小圆圈，那是我伤心的落泪了。当有一次妈妈冤枉我的时候，我把脸蛋涂上了褐色，妈妈看见了，好奇而且觉得好笑的问：“哪有脸蛋是这种颜色的呀?”我带有稚气的语气很倔强的回答：“这表示宝贝生气了!”妈妈止住了笑声，“哦哦，原来孩子的事件这样简单。”妈妈嘟囔了一句。

其实，现在看来，孩子的世界一点都不简单，他有了喜怒哀乐，并且已经开始为生命着色了。

有人说红色代表的热情，代表的开心。慢慢的长大了，我已经在学业上行进了一段路程，忽然发现那红色的成绩，也并不是真的代表了开心，它有时候很刺眼，很扎心!但无论如何，那都是我努力的结果，属于我生命的一部分，我都会欣然的接受。

鱼尾狮是新家坡的标志性建筑物。它一共有十层高，人们还能爬到鱼尾狮头顶去看新加坡的景色。鱼尾狮是一头由于尾巴的狮子。它的尾巴微微翘起，嘴里吐出美丽的水花，雄赳赳地屹立在圣淘沙岛上，一副不可轻视的样子，日夜维护着新加坡。

我们还去马来西亚。提起马来西亚。我立刻联想起了那里香甜可口的椰子。

椰子是热带水果，只能在马来西亚这种一年四季都很热的地方长。它的外壳是绿色的，像个圆滚滚的皮球。里面的果肉是奶白色的，十分诱人。椰子汁及健康友好喝，清凉爽口，椰肉也更是妙不可言。

各国都有自己的文化习俗，以后我要参观更多国家，了解更多知识。

我是一棵已成为母亲的蒲公英，刚刚诞生的孩子即将要放飞天涯，然而这是命运，不可违背的。而我只能祝福它们能够茁壮成长。

我祈求太阳的光芒照满大地，照到我的孩子身上，让它们去探索未来，寻找希望。

那一夜，我一夜未眠，等待太阳的出现，然而时间就像变慢了似的，想过了一个世纪，渐渐地，太阳露出来了，太阳的光芒照射着我们，照射了每个角落。然而此时，我最关心的是我的孩子，放心不下它们，希望他们能在阳关的照射下茁壮成长。

她左手拿着簸箕，右手拿着扫帚，认真而又耐心的扫着。只见她把这片赃物扫起来，又把那片赃物扫起来，这样的动作也不知道要重复多少遍。再瞧，她的双手配合的多么默契呀!要是簸箕满了，就小心翼翼地倒进垃圾车里，生怕把刚刚扫赶净的地又弄脏了。倒完了，就又开始扫了。我从她的眼睛里看到，她是多么希望大家不再乱扔赃物，保持道路昔日的干净。这时，大风吹来，把道路又吹脏了。这位清洁工无奈的说：“唉，真没办法，我又要重新扫了。”接着，又振起精神说：“没关系，我一定能扫完的!”说完又开始扫了，这回，她先把垃圾扫在了一起，又拿簸箕把垃圾扫进簸箕里。满了就用扫帚挡住口，不让垃圾掉下来，再到进垃圾车里。我想：这样能够节约多点时间，把垃圾扫完。想着想着，清洁工就把这些垃圾扫完了。我不犹自住地走进他，笑盈盈地说：“您真好!我要向您学习那种默默奉献的精神!”清洁工听了，眼睛笑眯眯的。

这就是我最敬佩的人。一个每天起早贪黑、默默奉献的一个人。难道这个人的品格不值得我去学习吗?
