Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. It falls on the twenty- fifth of December and has the same importance as Chinese New Year to people with English backgrounds. On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. They look into their presents with a big smile on their face and oh dear….I hope no one’s disappointed. I feel sorry for anyone that got pink underwear. 自己决定，这四个字也就意味着我们要对自己的人生负责。当我们不再是从前那个过度依赖身边人的小孩后，我们走在自己的成长道路上，我们就掌握着自己向前的方向。自己决定，我们的人生掌握在自己的手里，我们也就一定要好好的经营我们自己的人生，并且在面对每一次将会影响我们人生方向的选择上，慎重的决定。

每个人都会长大，现在的我也正在成长之中，而我也正在学会着让自己来做决定。成长的我应该要渐渐地独立，找到自己的目标，在面对选择前自己决定，然后坚定的向前，朝着自己的目标出发。

优雅，它是一种：静、慢、闲……但是，小孩子就不能优雅了!每当我想要优雅的时候，总是被时间给包围住了，根本就不能优雅!我是多么羡慕那一些老奶奶、老爷爷，他们是多么自在，像她们那样自由生活，才叫做真正的优雅啊!

记得有一次，晚上看电视的时候，看到了一种优雅的阐释，电视上的人说：“优雅是一种对生活的态度，优雅它是一种心境!”看到这，我心中也不由自主地暗想：要是我也能得到那样子的优雅，那就好了!说干就干，从明天开始，我也要拥有一种优雅的生活态度!

又是美好的星期一，当我还没有醒来的时候，耳边就传来了一阵喊声：“还不快一点儿起床，太阳都晒屁股上了，上学要迟到了!”这时，我还是处于半睡半醒的状态中，迷迷糊糊地起来了，慢慢地在叠被子。没想到，妈妈突然气呼呼地走进了房间大声骂道：“还不快一点，你是真的打算迟到了，你才开心。”我最后还是抵抗不了妈妈的骂声，也只能快一点了。就连吃饭，一点儿都不优雅，大口大口地吃，因为如果吃慢了的话，又会被妈妈骂了。我心中痛骂道：“要不是时间的问题，我一定能非常优雅地来到学校，为什么有时候要做到优雅就这么难办呢?”看来星期一到星期五是不能优雅了，那也就要等周末了，周末一定可以优雅一下了!我真是希望周末可以快一点儿到来呀!

我盼呀盼，终于可把周末给盼到了!出乎意料的是，妈妈怎么又像往常一样，叫我快一点儿起床，原来妈妈又在周末一下子给我报了许多的兴趣班，这样我的时间都用在了兴趣班上，我再也没有时间优雅了!

为什么，要做到优雅就这么难呢?我多么渴望得到优雅!

记得在寒冷的早晨，在上学的路上，隐隐约约看到一个人，那个人拿着扫帚在扫地。走进一看，原来是清洁工。就在这时候，我想：这么冷的天，清洁工在扫地，难道不冷吗?只见她穿着制服，带着口罩，左手拿着扫帚，右手拿着簸箕，刺脸的风把她的耳朵都吹红了。

她左手拿着簸箕，右手拿着扫帚，认真而又耐心的扫着。只见她把这片赃物扫起来，又把那片赃物扫起来，这样的动作也不知道要重复多少遍。再瞧，她的双手配合的多么默契呀!要是簸箕满了，就小心翼翼地倒进垃圾车里，生怕把刚刚扫赶净的地又弄脏了。倒完了，就又开始扫了。我从她的眼睛里看到，她是多么希望大家不再乱扔赃物，保持道路昔日的干净。这时，大风吹来，把道路又吹脏了。这位清洁工无奈的说：“唉，真没办法，我又要重新扫了。”接着，又振起精神说：“没关系，我一定能扫完的!”说完又开始扫了，这回，她先把垃圾扫在了一起，又拿簸箕把垃圾扫进簸箕里。满了就用扫帚挡住口，不让垃圾掉下来，再到进垃圾车里。我想：这样能够节约多点时间，把垃圾扫完。想着想着，清洁工就把这些垃圾扫完了。我不犹自住地走进他，笑盈盈地说：“您真好!我要向您学习那种默默奉献的精神!”清洁工听了，眼睛笑眯眯的。

这就是我最敬佩的人。一个每天起早贪黑、默默奉献的一个人。难道这个人的品格不值得我去学习吗?
