Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.

As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.

Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word “tame”, becomes his new friend. At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.

At the anniversary day of his descent of the earth, rejecting the pilot’s advice, he goes back to his own planet by bite of a snake. “It’s too far. I can not carry this body with me. It’s too heavy.” he said. He tells his friend, the pilot, he must be responsible for his rose, so he has to go back. At the end the author doesn’t tell us the ending directly. Maybe it’s more significant for us to imagine, and for more, think over.

One of the important characters is the rose. Growing on the planet, she is very beautiful, but her coquetry and vanity suffer the little prince a lot. In spite of they love each other, he soon becomes unhappy. On the time of his departure, he just knows she certainly loves him. The character of the little prince actually represents the children, and their native thoughts and deeds. On the contrary, the inhabitants on the other planets, such as the king, the businessman and the conceited man, they also reflect the defects in the grown-up’s world. The real theme of this fairy-tale with a little sadness, I guess, is the consequence of pure love and friendship in our lives, but not others “matters of consequence” of the grown-ups.

重温《平凡的世界》，让我受益匪浅，特别是书中着力塑造的人物的真实形象常常影响着我对平凡人生的理解和感悟。

故事中主人公孙少平，一个有着鲜明时代特质的青年。他的生活经历虽算不上大起大落，但足可以品尝到其中沉沉浮浮的生活和艰难辛酸的多种滋味。

高中时代的孙少平最不能接受的是“由于贫困而给自尊心所带来的伤害”，他希望“能穿着一身体面衣裳让站在女同学面前”，他希望每顿饭能有一个“不是嘴馋，而是为了活得尊严”的白馍或煮馍。然而，也有他值得高兴的时候：“由于读书多，许多人听他讲书中的故事。”

与此同时，孙少安这个有着简单而炽热情感的青年，却遭遇着不能选择的痛苦。他喜欢青梅竹马的润叶，但他理智地考虑到“答应却等于害了她。”还是努力地克制了自己的感情。

生活让孙少平成了一个揽工小子，继而又成了煤矿工人。在干活的时候，他没有因为读过书就挑三拣四。像牛一般干活的日子里，他始终还不曾放弃读书学习。是啊，“劳动是光荣的”，所以他与晓霞的相恋并没有所谓的自卑，他真诚执著并善良的生活着 。

孙少安的境况也在轰轰烈烈发生着变化，砖厂的创办给贫困的家庭带来富裕的快乐。儿子有了，新居也有了，日子似乎有滋有味了。就在大家都喜上眉梢的时候，生活向他又板起了严肃的面孔。田晓霞消失在滚滚洪水中。无论多苦多累都不曾掉一滴眼泪的孙少平失声痛哭了，无尽的泪水祭奠了那永不复归的爱情。他再次鼓起了生活的勇气，回到了大牙湾煤矿，因为“只有走近那块土地，他才能唤起生活的信念”，“深重的精神创伤也许仍然得用牛马般的体力劳动来医治……”

出于要同大家共同富裕的想法，孙少安扩大了砖厂的规模，想继续发展自己的事业;不幸的是，他的美好愿望落空了。但他没有放弃也没有退缩，在亲人的支持下，慢慢地找寻翻身的起点……

读到此，我的情绪也跟着主人公的遭遇而同时起伏。虽然这只是文学创作，可它却与现实是那么惊人的相似。人生就是在幸与不幸中的漩涡中不停地挣扎，一味的抱怨丝毫不起作用，一味的逆来顺受也只会永沉水底， 只有积极面对才有上浮的可能，而这也正是平凡的世界里平凡人最明智的选择。

此外，书中还有一些鲜活我们记忆的人：秉直的田福军，善良的全金波，执著的李向前，耿直的王世才……他们身上闪光的品质是真实而感人的，我们也能在书中感觉到他们真诚的微笑。

再次重温《平凡的世界》，不仅净化了我的心灵，也让我意识到一个平凡的人怎样才能获取生活的认可——那就是永葆自己的真诚和善良。

不知道为什么，特别感动于路遥对《平凡的世界》里的人物所作的祭文：“我们承认伟人在历史进程中的贡献。可是从本质上说，人类生活的大厦是由无数普通人的血汗乃至生命所建造的……”。真正万古常青的是普通人的无私奉献——这便是生生不息的人类生活。

当青春和生命的赞歌在经历风雨后依然恒久时，我们应该感谢路遥，感谢他在生命琴弦上的倾心弹奏。

我和甘老师深入交谈中，得知甘老师常年笔耕不缀。于是我向甘老师提出能否拜读大作。甘老师很爽快地应承了。一个月色如水的晚上，我们在三峡宜昌长江边畔的屈原像下继续拉琴唱歌时，甘老师走来，静静滴坐在一旁。等候大家歌曲联唱表演完毕，在《难忘今宵》的优美旋律里，甘老师取出随身带来的中篇小说。我接过来浏览了一下，工工整整的钢笔行书体，遒劲有力。真是字如其人啊!分手之后，我踏着月光回家，倚在床上就着桔黄色的灯光，一口气读完，意犹未尽，不忍释卷。从心底呼出一个声音：真是一片吸人眼球的好小说。很久没有读到这么新颖的作品。这篇小说《寻找失落的世界》，有一个很独特的书名，故事也引人入胜，其中主人公舒灿和叶丽、郭爽之间的情感纠葛情节跌宕起伏，爱情与利益之间的矛盾冲突尖锐复杂;传统观念与现代理念的冲突，揭示的很到位。

读过一遍，欲罢不忍，还想再读。也许是时间仓促，我读的不够仔细，但是已经感受到小说中字里行间都透露着浓浓的生活气息，那娓娓道来的叙述，像是自己的一个朋友，或者是一个亲人，在述说自己生活中的经历，自己身边发生的故事，没有陌生感，也没有矫柔造作之词，文笔优美，文字清新，有作者细腻的情感，也有对生活的品读和反思，是一篇很不错的作品!

I read a book foreign classics, "oliver twist". It is the author of the famous realist writer dickens. The contents of the book is very wonderful, let me fascinated.

Her main protagonist is an orphan named oliver twist, the book tells the story of oliver when I was a child. He was born in an orphanage, there had been bullied, sold to an undertaker of the family. 书中的主人公是一个孤儿，名叫奥利弗·特维斯特，这本书讲述了奥利弗小时候的故事。他出生在孤儿院，在那儿受尽了欺凌后，被卖到了一个殡仪员的家庭。可是，因为有一次殡仪员误解了他，狠狠地打了他，所以他就逃到了传说中美好的伦敦。但是到了伦敦后，他又不幸陷入了贼窟。

“Animals deserve our kindness, sympathy and understanding,” that is what Anna Sewell－the author of Black Beauty－wanted to convince her readers. Thanks to Sewell, I now think about the animal－human relationship from both the human and the animal’s point of view.

The inspiration for Anna Sewell’s novel was drawn from her own relationship with horses. Anna Sewell was born on March 20th, 1820 in Norfolk, England and was crippled while still very young. Due to her disability, she relied on horse-drawn carriages and grew to love horses as a result. She also became appalled by the careless and cruel treatment horses often received from humans and determined to write a book.. In the second year of work on the book, she was told that she had only eighteen months to live, but she persevered in order “to induce kindness, sympathy and an understanding [of the ] treatment of horses.” Five years later, she was still working on Black Beauty, her only book. Unfortunately, Sewell died a few months after publication and never learned of the book’s huge success. Black Beauty formed an impassioned plea for animal rights at a time when such a notion had been dismissed as ridiculous.

The novel portrayed the real condition of working horses living in Britain during the Victorian Era. In that time period, the wealthy thought that their horses were treated well because they never stepped into the stable. In order to call people’s attention to horses’ hard life, Sewell tells the story through the first-person narrative voice of a horse. This innovative personification of an animal made the book a real success. Readers heard the stories straight from the horse’s mouth, literally, as an animal spoke of extremes of joy and suffering. People were shocked by the truth exposed by the novel and changed their attitudes towards animals.

Sewell formed the novel with three kinds of characters: Black Beauty, Ginger and other farm animals. Through their different experiences, I saw similarly painful lives led by the animals. This method made the earnest appeal for animal rights become more and more persuasive.

As a domestic animal, Black Beauty was continuously sold from one family to another. Over the years Beauty enjoyed good masters but also endured mean ones. Sometimes, he was cared for and at other times tortured. In the end, everything turns out all right in a story that is so tender and yet meaningful. His story was so vivid that caught the readers’ heart. The novel brought people laughter and tears and also enlightened them to understand animals at the same time.

Animals cannot speak so understanding is significant to them. Once, for example, Beauty was drawing the carriage to a wooden bridge. The bridge was flooded out in the river and John, the groom, was not aware that it was cracked. But the quickly realized that something was wrong because of Beauty’s abnormal behavior. Momentarily, a man shouted to them, “Stop! Stop!…The bridge is broken in the middle. If you come across, you’ll fall in the river!” Beauty had saved John. However, if John had not tried to understand what Beauty wanted to tell him, there would definitely have been an accident. I learnt from the story that understanding animals is not only essential to them but is also beneficial to us ourselves.

I have read some parts of this nover when I was about thirteen years old,but the book was really too thick for me to read over patiently.It’s a pity that I haven’t finished it till now.But fortunately, I have watched the movie “Pride and Predudice”directed by an American film studio several months ago.

The simple but pure plot,the wonderful song,the classical custume, the luxury ball,the scene full of amorous feelings from the British country,the beatiful and stubborn actress,all of these moved me deeply.Mr. Darcy,the actor of the nover,a nobleman from the uper-classes in England,because of this , he has an inborn superiority that he looks down at every person from the lower-classes .

He don’t like neither their life style nor their way to think.Elizabeth,the actress of the nover,an obstinate,wise young girl from the lower-classes of the country.She dosen’t like anyone who is constumelious,she hates the spurs from the pride men. By these, you know,there’er lots of conflicts between them,but at last,Darcy and Elizabeth,the two different even opposite youngsters fall love .That’s very incredible.

In fact,we are always pride and think something in our mind but not right,we assess the others only depend on their background or their color of skin , we hide our true heart and pretend ,we dispise the others without any reason……But why don’t we ask ourselves in our heart or mind: what do we feel in fact? What do we need in fact? What do we hate and love in fact? Why not express our real feelings at once?Why not chase the happy we really want ?

If we can go through the hindrances that set by ourselves,if we can express the true feelings we have and say it out loudly and clearly to somebody we want to tell with, if we can give up the contumely and spurns which block us to get long well wigh the others wo love,if we can live together harmony and sincere, if ……If that day really comes,the love will come too.

润叶深爱着少安，却不得不嫁给李向前!李向前得到润叶的爱，代价却是失去双腿!无法想象，像少平这样优秀的高中生，却成为了一个煤矿工人?而田晓霞如花的生命，竟在洪水中逝去，和少平的爱情，也在汹涌的波涛中湮灭……社会的变革，带来的不仅是希望、机遇与拼搏：像少安、田福军、乔伯年;伴随而来的还有固执、痛苦、人性的堕落：像田福堂、张有智、苗凯……理性与智慧的光，在时代的长河微弱地摇曳，将光遮住的，是自私、固执、堕落、“出身的局限性，农民的狭隘性”……啊，平凡的世界，已使我“目不忍视，耳不忍闻”了!……“真的勇士，敢于直面惨淡的人生，敢于正视淋漓的鲜血”!我不甘心，我试图从纷繁的故事与人物中找出共通之处——一种支持时代与历史前进的力量。于是我开始仔细的思考……少安与润叶因为爱而相聚，也因为爱而分离;命运夺去了李向前的双腿，带来安抚与希望的也是爱;时代可以泯灭一个优秀青年的辉煌未来，却无法阻止他对真理和爱的追求，即使在最艰苦的时代，少平不也坚持读书吗?

命运可以将两个人分离，将一个人毁灭，但却无法阻止一个煤矿工人与记者的爱……生活中固然拼搏与颓废并存，但取得成功与人民爱戴的，不还是那些心存爱、正义和善良的人吗?是的，有些人会颓废，会堕落，会迷失方向。是的，有些人，可以侥幸?不，应该相信，没有侥幸!真理和爱虽有时看起来衰微，但却不会随时代的更替而改变。甘地说，“历史上只有爱和真理才能获胜。”至于命运中的不幸与苦难，应该是财富。就像少平在给兰香的信中所说，“如果能深刻理解苦难，苦难就会给人带来崇高感。亲爱的妹妹，我多么希望你的一生充满快乐。可是，如果生活需要你忍受痛苦，你一定要咬紧牙关坚持下去。有位了不起的人说过：痛苦难道是白忍受的吗?他应该使我们伟大!”

正与负本来就存在，存在于自身，存在与社会，我不惧将两类事物陈放于眼前，因为我相信，任何明辨事理的人都会选择前者，而选择后者的人，终将无所作为。我所悲哀的，是不幸的人坠落于痛苦的怪圈，被愚蠢蒙蔽了双眼，不能认清自我，于仇恨与自私中陨落……故事并没有给出一个结局，少安、少平、兰香应该还有更精彩的经历，但是，平凡的世界，悠悠的时间，哪里又会有一个尽头呢?或许，路遥把故事留给了我们，平凡的世界，不平凡的人，平凡的故事，不平凡的经历，书中的，终究不属于你，身边的，才可以给你创造奇迹!我又看见了少平，远方的天边，朝阳从彩霞中喷薄而出，他迈着更加稳健步伐向远方走去……

认真阅读完了《平凡的世界》，这部长篇小说曾获得过“茅盾文学奖”，那可是中国最高的文学奖项。作品语言朴实，乡土气息浓厚，人物描写非常生动，我被书中的故事深深吸引了，收获很大。

本书主要写的是孙少平一家在黄土高原的乡村发生的一系列故事。偏僻的乡下，为生计，大哥孙少安担起了重担，开办窑厂受骗失败，在家人和乡亲的鼓励下从头再来。克服困难，生活终有改变。弟弟孙少平为减轻家庭负担，决定外出务工，各种苦工都做，但他仍然坚持读书，充实自己的生活，逆境中有追求、有快乐。不管生活多么艰难、条件多么艰苦，他们一家都很乐观、坚强，相信功夫不负有心人，美好生活终会到来的。

我在生活学习中，也碰到过困难。我以前跑步较慢，跑起来感觉很吃力，信心不足，在老师的鼓励下，我平时加强锻炼，体育课上不浪费一分钟。开始，感觉很疲劳，想打退堂鼓。可要提高成绩，必须坚持，不拍困难。一段时间后，我的跑步成绩明显提高了。我也喜欢踢足球，一上足球场，就很兴奋，停不下来。有一天，运动结束脚上起了几个水泡，又痛又痒。对喜爱的运动，我不放弃，坚持跑步。

其实，在生活里，总会遇到挫折、困难、甚至灾难，应该有勇气、有魄力去面对，相信自己，总会有收获的。因为，彩虹总会出现在风雨之后的。坚强，会让自己壮大，离成功更近。

"Oliver twist" is one of the biggest British novelist, Charles Dickenss 1838 novel, is also one of his representative works.

This book reflects the early 19th century British society at the bottom of the life, the hero oliver, let me very sympathetic to the sad. 看完这本书后，我的心情久久不能平静，文中主人公的年龄和我一样大，可是，和他相比，我们的生活是多么的幸福，但是我们却还是不满足，遇到一点小小的困难，就放弃，缺少意志力。我要学习奥利弗尔的坚强品质，克服一切艰难险阻，珍惜现在的一切，刻苦学习，成为一个对社会有用的人。
