读书的过程中，我一次又一次停下来，不断地问自己，究竟什么是平凡?什么是伟大?什么是生活?

人生难免会有许多的苦难，不同的人会有不同的反映，有的人坚强的斗争，有的人屈服于命运，有的人在斗争与屈服中摇摆不定。孙家兄弟就属于第一类的人，面对苦难，积极面对，与命运作斗争。

《平凡的世界》让我明白了脚踏实地的可贵，一切空想和憧幻都是不切实际的，让我知道了平凡的伟大。当代年轻人，遇到任何挫折，都应向少平那样，奋发向上，不向任何困难低头。奋斗的真正含义不仅要能吃苦，更重要的是精神上的执着，是明知不可为而为之的勇气，是不懈的坚持。

Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.

As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. ―I‖, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.

Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word ―tame‖, becomes his new friend. At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.

At the anniversary day of his descent of the earth, rejecting the pilot’s advice, he goes back to his own planet by bite of a snake. ―It’s too far. I can not carry this body with me. It’s too heavy.‖ he said. He tells his friend, the pilot, he must be responsible for his rose, so he has to go back. At the end the author doesn’t tell us the ending directly. 书的开头，孙少平是一个连“丙”菜都吃不起的穷困农村学生;书的结尾孙少平是个身有残疾的普普通通的煤矿工人。从头到尾孙少平都没有脱离所谓的“底层社会”。可是时至今日每每想起《平凡的世界》，想起孙少平这个平凡的人，这个人物身上的自尊都令我汗颜。

在读者上面看到了《早晨从中午开始》。概括了父亲那一代人的人生轨迹。我却被这文章中记录的作者路遥所创作《平凡的世界》时的各种工作准备所吸引。头一次知道，原来写一本长篇小说，要在一个荒郊野外独居数年;要通读近十年的报纸，记录各种事件，翻阅报纸到手指被磨得露出毛细血管。这些听起来艰苦以至于荒谬的事情，对于我却有着巨大的感染力。直到今天，我仍然对这种被王小波描述为“反熵过程”的，人对于某一事物不合常理的执着，哟这莫名奇妙的好感。

坦率的说，这本书有我很多不喜欢的地方;作者强加在人物身上的褒贬之辞;书中没有一段善始善终的感情;孙少平和田晓霞好的莫名奇妙;田晓霞的死和孙少平的尿失禁等等。甚至每一个人物身上，都能找到我不喜欢的性格。

可是这本书却最终吸引着我，也改变了我。因为他有引人入胜的开头;更重要的是，它教我认识了一个平凡人的自尊。

孙少平在物质生活上是窘迫的，在精神上是寂寞的——但我从来没有在生活上见到任何一个人，能够像他这样认真对待自己的精神世界。

我心中的孙少平，是个“讲究”人，在平凡的人生境遇中对自己的精神世界仍一丝不苟。和他相比，那些盛气凌人的“成功人士”们大多活得却像个动物。

这样的态度比任何话语都有力量，这样一个高贵的普通人比任何社会角色都更令人诚服。社会上流行着用一个人的社会地位判断他的质量;我身边也不乏动辄对他人的“成就”或“品味”作褒贬之辞的朋友。我总觉得我无法与他们为伍，无法接受这样的价值，因为我见识了孙少平这样的.人，我更愿意相信这样的人的存在。人可以独立于成败，独立于世俗的价值评判，独立于他人的褒贬臧否，而自己尊重自己，做个高贵的人。

我对自己的种种一直都不甚满意。但《平凡的世界》教给我的，是为数不多让我为自己感到骄傲的地方。《平凡的世界》是一本我愿意让我以后的孩子读的书。不是为了让我的孩子更像他爸爸，而是希望他将来能够成为一个让我由衷钦佩的人。

First of all, let’s learn about the author who is Jane Austen .She was unmarried all her life. She was born in a mid-class family and was brought up in a comfortable environment with harmonious surroundings, so there’s not too many conflicts in her sight neither in her novel. 《平凡的世界》它是所有正在面对或者是已经经历过人生困境的朋友们的一生的精神粮食，能保持一个人在人生拼搏中永不放松又能给在生活中茫然无所为的年轻人指明前进的方向。故事中的年轻人的情感，内心世界，都是作家作品伟大和成功基石，这本书已经在超出了小说本身的的内涵、意义和力量。特别是着重表现年轻人的生活，通过他们爱情的波折反映出新生活中一代年轻人的价值观。

一本那样平凡而真实的书，只是在那个黄土高原上一个不起眼的双水村的小寨，没有惊天动地的撕杀，只是在默默的诉说里倾诉着融融的亲情，没有荡气回肠的情节，只是在那个年代那个环境里娓娓诉说着平凡的世界里平凡人们平凡而又特殊的人生，没有轰轰烈烈的爱情的海誓山盟，只是在把爱的种种用那陕北风情徐徐道来。

它描绘的是一幅爱的篇章，对亲情的爱，少安与他的父亲：当他在参加全县升初中的考试中，名列第三被录取的时候“他的父亲在他面前抱头痛哭流涕，他第一次看到刚强的父亲在他面前流泪，他自己也哭了，是的，他将要和学校的大门永远的告别了，他多么的不情愿呀，他理解父亲的痛苦，爸爸不愿断送他的前程”。或许，我们的印象里，父亲总是高大与坚强的象征，又有谁能够明白那笑容背后的艰辛与无奈?可是少安知道，为了那个家他牺牲了太多太多，没日没夜的忙碌着，从来没有自私过。他是一个多么有情有义的男子汉啊，还有妹妹兰香与少平、少安的兄妹情谊，一个平凡的环境，一个一包乱的家却只因那相扶相携的亲情而变的富有。

平凡的世界，平凡的生活，平凡的人们，只有平凡的才是大众的，也才是最真切和伟大的，当人们在一遍又一遍的看青春偶像剧的时候，那些夸张的题材与情节，总会让人感觉出“水份”来，真正的生活是平凡的。

书中少平的命运就是我们这些平凡世界里平凡的人的生活影子，尤其是我们这些农民的子弟。不甘平凡，我们却是如此平凡!但是，我想，不管我们的命运将如何，我们都应该像少平那样，不管处在任何时候，任何环境，我们都不会放弃努力!不会愧对生命!“只能永远把艰辛的劳动看作是生命的必要;即使没有收获的指望，也心平气静地继续耕种”。这是作者在后记中写的，每一个平凡的人都以一个不为人知的不平凡的世界，每个平静背后都有激情澎湃，无声有时胜似有声。

读《平凡的世界》后，我们通常能感到自己的微不足道，那曾经的抱怨、愤世不公是多么的幼稚。与主人公的经历比起来，我们是多么渺小，从小学一路走来，没有经历什么挫折，而我们称道的是考试失败，感情失落等等，与少安、少平相比较我们又算什么呢?主人公孙少安与孙少平兄弟俩在这个平凡的世界中不断超越自身的局限，最终获得生活上的成功，谱写了一曲充满活力的生命之歌，向人们揭示了人生的自强与自信、奋斗与拼搏、挫折与追求、痛苦与欢乐，并以一幕幕催人泪下的苦难所展现出的人物的顽强坚韧的信念告诉人们：苦难与挫折只是个躯壳，真正广阔的生活意义在于我们对生活理想所持的生生不息的虔诚与热情中所体现的坚强的信念。

暑假里我看了马克吐温著的《威尼斯的小艇》，其中短篇小说《百万英镑》是一部很好的作品，读了它使我感触很深。

《百万英镑》是讲一个贫穷、诚实的人，也就是这个故事的主人公收到了一对兄弟的信，信里装着百万英镑。原来这对兄弟打了一个赌，赌如果一个贫穷、诚实的人收到天上掉下的一百万英镑，他会有怎样的结果?哥哥认为他会饿死，因为他无法证明这些钱是他自己的，而且会受到别人的怀疑，就连银行都不会让他存钱。弟弟却认为他会过得很好。于是他们兄弟俩将一百万英镑的支票借给了这个贫穷又诚实又聪明的人，并出国呆了一个月。没想到在这段时间里，人们对这位突然暴富的罕见富翁，竟拼命地拉拢他，从免费吃饭，买衣服，到免费住宿，一个个像乞丐一样讨好他，并不断提高他的社会地位，一直到了除王室外最高的公爵之上!不光如此，他还得到了一位好妻子和三万英镑的银行利息，最后还从两兄弟那儿得到了一份很好的工作，过着非常非常幸福的生活。

看到这儿，我很羡慕这位如此“幸运”的主人公，真希望能和他一样幸运，但我又转念一想：人们之所以讨好他，还不是因为当时人们太看重金钱了吗?拜金主义是可耻的，不劳而获更不应该!金钱不是万能的，世界上还有许多比金钱更重要的东西——良心和品德……

today, i was read the book which called “the adventures of tom sawyer.” this story is about a clever boy called tom sawyer.

this book describes the nineteenth century, the mississippi river in a small town peoples lives, it can be said at the time the united states are a microcosm of social life. small characters tom sawyer and his junior partner and seriously childish words and deeds can give us deep insight. they hate priests pack of lies, and do not like boring school of education and decently adults, and children a rival show. they smart and lively , integrity and courage, especially in some major events happened when, in a battle between justice and evil, in the moment of crisis comes, they will not hesitate to come forward.

i think tom sawyer is a brave boy. he always gives his friends courage in danger and he tries his best to help other people.

of course we know, tom is a very naughty boy, and his aunt polly is often angry with him. but i think he also is a good boy. he always can make other people happy.

people always grow, besides height, body has grown stronger, and people’s thoughts are long. your view on the world is different, sensible, and no longer childish. but people are getting better. dont like the adventures of the ruthless villains, and his quest do bad, people see people hate. but at last he still las toman, got a starved to death in the cave.

after reading the "adventures of tom sawyer," i really envy tom to have such an interesting experience. it seems this book with relish, and even sleepless nights.

in my heart, i respect tom. maybe he is a hero. and i think i should learn something from tom sawyer.

Let me just start by saying that I had been put off reading Thomas Hardye by Dickens. Having really struggled with Dickens and resorted to audio I had wrongly assumed that all 19C liturature was the same. How wrong I could be. From the first paragraph where the opening character farmer Gabriel Oak is desribed smiling, ‘the corners of his mouth spread till they were an unimportant distance from his ears‘ I fell in love with Hardy‘s narrative. His ability to use words that lift the description off the page and into the reader‘s imagination are not just outstanding but incredibly enjoyable.

I went into this book blindly, knowing little about the plot that lay ahead or even the genre. It has been described by some as romantic fiction. But I think this is too simplistic a title and and maybe slightly off-putting to some. Hardye steps into Greek Tragedy when the unwitting and churlish actions of our young protagonist, Bathsheba Everdene, result in a love tryst between three suitors with tragic consequenses.

The book is essentially a journey for Bathsheba into womanhood not unlike the journey that Scarlett O‘Hara makes in Gone with the Wind who also has to overcome great tragedy in order to realise her own strength. Unlike this heroin, however, Bathsheba is more the instrument of chaos and indecion and part of her journey is that she accepts what she has caused and tries to make it right.

Hardye avoids making this into moral stricture but deviates from the Greek Tragedy model by giving us a happy ending not atypical of 19C serialised fiction.

Quite often an author‘s voice creeps into their writing and the reader becomes aware that they are not in fact walking the hills and dales of fictional Wessex but are at the pen nib of a writ

《百万英镑》是一个很有趣的短篇小说，读了《百万英镑》后，我有很多感想。

《百万英镑》主要讲的是两兄弟打了一个“如果一个穷人得到百万英镑会怎样做”的赌。他们就给了一个贫穷而诚实的人一张一百万英镑的钞票。

人们对这个一夜暴富的人很惊讶，不断提高他的地位。他还有了一个美丽的妻子，过着幸福的生活。

我的感想是，过去的人们看不起穷人，觉得帮助穷人自己什么好处都没有，还对穷人很冷淡。可是一见到有钱人就对他很客气、热情。这种情况就表现出了过去的人们都是金钱至上，有钱的人就有地位，受人们尊重。可是没钱的人就没有地位，别人也看不起他们。我觉得这种情况是非常不好的，不是只有有钱的人能受到尊重，每个人都有权利得到别人的尊重。同时，帮助穷人也是快乐的事。当你尽自己的能力帮助了别人后，内心会有一种说不出的喜悦和开心。我觉得人们还是应该帮助穷人。另外，我还觉得不应该金钱至上，以貌取人。金钱虽然很重要，但并不是万能的!

《平凡，却又不平凡》

我轻轻地合上书，仍沉浸在书中的故事里。读完路遥的《平凡的世界》，我看到了生活中不同的人们面对命运变迁所做出的抉择，面对生活的重压仍咬牙坚持。书中一个个平凡的人物却做出了一件件不平凡的事，汇成了那个年代最跌宕起伏的故事。

《平凡的世界》全书以中国70年代中期到80年代中期为背景，以孙少安、孙少平两兄弟为核心，描绘了社会上形形色色的人和事，展示了底层人民在苦难中寻找出路、自立自强的不屈和毅力。

书中主角孙少安和孙少平正是当时努力奋斗的两类年轻人。孙少安选择扎根农村，但又不甘于贫穷，自己办起了砖厂。这期间历经磨难，也几次面临倒闭，但最终少安凭借家人的支持和自己不服输的精神成为村中的尖子户。孙少平既是一个贫穷的农村青年，又是一个受过教育的知识分子，这使他即使走出农村，成为城市底层工人中的一员，却仍有着对知识的渴望以及对自己和他人同时具有的尊重。

通过书中人物的经历，我深深感受到平凡的人身上不平凡的精神。他们或许没有“先天下之忧而忧，后天下之乐而乐”的伟大抱负，但他们每个人都在尽自己的力量让生活变得更好。他们勤恳、善良，不服输到甚至有些固执，但他们自立自强，不愿向命运低头的那份执着不正是我们值得学习的吗?

在那个年代，正是有了这些平平凡凡的人的坚持与努力，才有了如今越来越美好的生活。而我们作为新一代的青年人，也应该有这种不服输、努力执着的精神。

不平凡的人很少，大多数人都将成为在自己平凡的岗位上默默付出的普通人。但是，哪怕是普通人，也都会有自己不平凡的价值，值得人们尊敬的精神。希望我以后，即使平凡，也不甘于平凡。
