以前，我们家没有电脑。爸爸是个工程师。以前，爸爸画图都要用手画，画的时候要用尺子，画错了不得用橡皮擦，不小心会把绘图纸擦烂，画图慢，还得不停地削铅笔。画出的线条不优美。画一张图纸要用一两天时间。还要描图、晒图最后才能形成工程图纸。总共需要三天。现在，我家买了电脑。他可以用电脑画图了，不用描图；只要用一小小的鼠标点来点去，就可以代替人工所做的一切。一张工程图画好只要一下的时间。画完了直接一打印，又清晰又美观。

有了电脑。我总在电脑上帮妈妈打文章。我自己还用文件夹，存了动画片、日记、作文等。我还用它看文学名著。我还用它学英语、装软件，打游戏……妈妈就用它制卷子、打词语。电脑给我家带来了许多方便。

今年夏天，我们家还添了电冰箱。以前，夏天的东西经常会坏，坏了就扔了，多可惜。现在电冰箱可以冷藏食品，食品放在冰箱里不会坏。它可以给我制作冰块。我补课回来，我就冷冻一个冰块让我解渴。冰箱给我家带来了方便。

去年，我们家还买了空调。以前，在冬天没有空调，起床穿衣服，我总藏在被窝里。现在有了空调，起来穿衣服就不会感冒了。在夏天没有空调时，能把人热得发闷，不想活动。现在，在夏天有了空调，无论在什么时候，只要一开空调，调成冷风，会觉的非常凉爽，像置身于凉爽的森林一样。

最近，我们县上出现了互联网，大部分家里人的电脑都上了Inter网。以前，没有互联网，想投稿或有事只要发一个E-mail，就可以把作文投上去，把信寄了出去。互联网也给我们带来了方便。

Swimming, reading and movie are my favorites, which bring  color to my busy study life. In study, I am good at Chinese and English, while  math is my weakness. At the beginning of this term, I made a plan for my study. Now, I find that  I carry it out well in the past month. I was poor in Chinese and English last  semester. Therefore, I put the two subjects in the priority and I spent much  time on them. Happily, I made progress in the two subjects this semester.  Besides, math and physics is not so hard for me, but I must do many exercises to  improve my knowledge. Half of an hour for each is necessary and I have always  been doing so. The other subjects are easy for me. As long as I carefully listen  to the teacher in the class and do some reviews, I can do well in them. While,  it does not mean that I attach no importance to them. I make plan for my study  to ensure the efficiency of my study.

开学之初，我给我的的学习制定了一个计划。现在，我发现在过去的一个月我能够很好的实行。上个学期我的语文和英语很差，因此我把这两个科目作为我的首要任务并花很多时间在上面。很高兴的是，这学期我这两科取得了进步。此外，数学和物理对我来说不是很难，但是我必须多做练习来增加我的知识。每个科目花上半个小时是有必要的，我一直都是这样做的。其他的科目对我来说很容桂。只要我课堂上认真听课，课后复习我就能够把它们做好。但是，这也不意味着我不重视它们。我给我的学习制定计划以保证我的学习效率。

Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of

the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy

presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It is also the tradition

that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in

hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated

with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”,

“wealth”, and “longevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast

with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet

delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next

morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy

new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year

tradition is a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wish

peace and happiness for everyone.

Recently, a picture caught many people’s attention, in the picture, a handsome boy was studying in the library silently, people could only see his half face. Girls are crazy about him, because he was so handsome, wearing the white shirt makes him a gentleman, what’s more, his silent sitting there looks like beautiful scenery. The boy’s picture soon becomes the hot topic, people search his information and more and more his things were dig out. The boy got the first place in his province when he took part in the college entrance exam, he also could play cello very well. As he is so excellent, people admire him so much and want to cultivate their kids as excellent as him. We could see that beautiful outlook will help you catch people’s attention, but only your talented skill makes you outstanding.

I always think there is not enough time. For example， I have just taken a

three-day holiday. But when I look back， I just feel that it‘s only one day.

There goes a proverb， “Time is money”。 Now I want to say， time is more precious

than money， because when money is spent， we can earn some more again. However，

when time is gone or lost， never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually

limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it‘s a pity that I am

always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think， I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting

time is equal to wasting one‘s life. Do not put off what can be done today till

tomorrow!
