I went hiking to a mountain with my friends last summer。

It was a good trip at the beginning but something unexpected happened on the half way。 One of my friends suddenly felt a terrible pain in his stomach and he couldn‘t move any further。 Nobody knew what to do。

One girl tried to call her mum with her mobile phone but there was no signal in the mountain area。 Luckily we brought a tent with us。 We put it up and let him rest in it。 He took some medicine。 Then he drank some water， and ate some food。 After a while， he felt much better and we walked on。 We all enjoyed ourselves on the top of the mountain。

I think nearly everyone likes traveling. Sometimes we will travel with our friends or families, but sometimes we will travel alone. I believe different ways for traveling will have different feelings. And I prefer travelling alone. Travelling alone is more excited. on a summer vacation i travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. when i use my feet and walk on a grass covered path or among the hills i feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. and when i travel on foot i get more freedom. i can plan my own schedule. i can choose my own route. i can stop where i like. and i can see things and people that i might miss if i travel on a train or on a bus.

when faster and more convenient ways for travel are becoming available, i still favor using my own feet. i get much pleasure from it.

This winter holiday I have been to BeiJing for a travel. it was a great journey! we have went to see the Imperial Palace and the great wall and them let me feel that I was proud to be a Chinese.

The Imperial Palace noted the history. there were many antiques which we could espy the great culture .

From the great wall,it was a well-known wonder in the world.it is made of big stones which was too heavy to bring even uesing it to buil a construction of ruggedization. what a great grandeur!

I am always interested in traveling. My reasons are quite (extremely) simple and clear. If anybody is not satisfied with my viewpoint(s), I shall be greatly surprised at his ways of thinking.

Making a trip to Beidaihe on May 18 was an experience which I will never

forget.

A arrived in Beidaihe at about 2 oclock,and immediately took a No.5 bus to

the sea area.The beautiful blue sea was so large that I couldnt see the other

side of it.After getting off the bus,I went straight to the shore.Taking off my

shoes,I put my feet into the water.The water was cool,and walking in the water

was such a great joy that I didnt want to stop.Then I collected shells.When it

got dark,I sat on the shore,watching the sea.The night scene was simply

Finally I had to go back.It was an unforgettable day in my life.

Last summer I went to Vietnam with my parents. We stayed at a small village outside Saigon. The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos. Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy. They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day.
