而且有一点我认为中国应该改进一下，那就是重复利用。

希望我们能继续保持下去，这样杭州的空气环境可以变得更好！

全体市民：

在新世纪里，我们渴望美丽的地球，绿色的家园，湛蓝的天空，清新的空气。但是，由于人类的肆意破坏、污染、浪费，是美丽的地球变得千疮百孔、遍体鳞伤。人类受到了大自然的惩罚，逐渐意识到保护坏境的重要性。我的家乡南山，一条河江贯穿县城。听老人说，以前这条河清澈见底，而现在，这条河变成了“排污河”。河水浑浊，还夹杂着恶臭，各种各样的垃圾漂浮在河面上，人们再也不敢像从前那样下水游泳，洗衣，人人避而远之。难道这不是人们破坏环境的恶果吗？我们应该吸取教训，好好保护环境，清洁环境、美化环境，从我做起，从现在做起！为了地球，为了人类的未来，也为了我们永远拥有一个美好的生存环境，特提出以下建议：

1、共同建设“节约型社会”，节约每一滴水，节约每一度电，节约每一张纸。节约用水，用完水后及时拧紧水龙头，少大开水龙头，提倡用脸盆洗手、洗脸：节约用电，电器不使用时，应及时关闭电源；节约用纸，多用手绢、抹布。

2、为减少空气污染，节约能源，尽量乘公共汽车、自行车或步行。

3、为保护森林，矿产等自然资源，尽量购买使用再生材料制造的，多可长期使用的商品，减少一次性纸杯、一次性木筷和餐具等。

4、减少使用塑料袋，它是白色污染的元凶。

5、发展经济不能以破坏环境为价，要把发展与保护环境放在同等的位置。

6、自觉保护生态环境，积极参与绿化美化活动。

地球只有一个，她的生命是脆弱的，我们不能为眼前的发展和微小的利益，以放肆的行为无“度”的获取，使原本已经脆弱的躯体更加脆弱！

记住，保护地球，就是保护我们自己！

I am a student in Huaxing Middle School. Do you know the plastic bags? Do you often use the plastic bags? I don’t like them. I think they use the wasting valuable oil their production. And they can’t decompose(分解) in a short time. The plastic bags will make our world worse. I agree with the rule, which people can’t get the free plastic bags in the shops, supermarkets. It encourages people to use their cloth bags and baskets. It’s good for our environment.

So I hope all the students in our class stop to use the plastic bags, and use our own cloth bags. I hope we can take care of our environment.

Let’s make our world more and more beautiful.

在我们的周围，时常可以发现一些成年人，对环境的保护意识连我们小学生都不如。比如，随手乱扔垃圾、烟头等。竟然还大言不惭的教育我们，这不能做，那不能做的。真让我们这些孩子为他们的不良行为感到脸红。

开学第一天，我高高兴兴的往学校走，在我的前面一位穿着漂亮的阿姨，领着一个比我小的女孩，一边急匆匆的赶路，一边把手中的包子塞进嘴里，并把包包子的方便袋随手扔在了地上，随之被风高高的。这位女士的行为和她的穿着极不相称，突然孩子说话了：“妈妈，你扔的方便袋上了天，老师说，不能随地扔垃圾。”她的妈妈说：“多嘴，迟到了快点走！”那位做妈妈的轻描淡写的话语，好像环境的好坏和她无关似的，让我瞠目结舌！

昨天，我亲眼看见有位叔叔把一车垃圾倾倒了河里，垃圾里面还有碎玻璃片，还有一包一包装满垃圾的塑料袋，臭烘烘的气味顿时冲击着我的鼻孔，使本来就脏兮兮的河更加破烂不堪了。以前每到夏天，这条河不但是我们玩耍的乐园，鱼儿们可以尽情游来游去，更主要的是这条河还是当地居民饮用水的水源。可现在的河里已经不见鱼儿的踪影，夏季的河里也不见孩子们的欢声笑语的嬉戏热闹的场面了。

保护环境，受益者是我们大家。提高保护环境的认识，是提高人们的素养和认识的必要条件。让我们都来自觉的爱护大自然，爱护周围的环境，使我们的环境变得更好，让我们每天都能在清新整洁的环境里，享受美好的生活吧！

Important to save water

Water is a kind of liquid. It has no taste or smell. It is transparent, too. Water is useful and is important to us. Why? For example, we use water to water the plants. We use water to wash our face or to have a bath. We drink water or we will die…Water is also very important for China. There are 2.8 hundred millions of steres of water in China, but everyone can only use 2300 steres. It is only twenty–five per sent in the world.

Not too long ago, there was a man called Jacques Cousteau. He loved the beautiful colors, and the beautiful fish in the sea. However, when he returned some years later, the colorful coral reefs were dead and grey because the factory near the sea poured waste water into the sea. Jacques Cousteau decided to tell people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. He started the“ Cousteau Society ” to help protect life in the sea. Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. We should not litter the sea, and should clean up the dirty parts. As water is very important to our environment, he encouraged everyone to take part in protecting our lakes, rivers, sea and ocean.

There are still a few people who are not protecting the water now in the world. For example, some factories pour waste things into the rivers, lakes or into the sea near by. The water there has become very dirty and we can’t use them at all. Although there are seventy–five per sent of water in the world, we can only use fresh water, that there is only a little. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean. You may ask yourself, have I ever poured or thrown dirty things into the water? If your answer is “No”, that means you have already helped to protect the environment. It is our duty to protect the environment. You may ask yourself again, have I ever helped to clean up the water? If your answer is “Yes”, that means that you have already done something useful to improve the water. If we use up all the water, it is difficult for us to get it from anywhere, including the universe. It is terrible to think that people are too thirsty to live! I believe, that if everyone helps to protect the water, the water must be protected. You do not want to “kill” your son or your grandson, do you? So now let us to protect the water! Please don’t let the last drop of water on the earth is we human’s tear!

我们的地球是一颗闪烁在宇宙中美丽的蓝宝石，它不仅孕育了我们的生命，还为我们提供了丰富的资源，所以我们要爱护它。爱护地球，我们必须要做到——保护环境。

保护环境，首先要做到不乱丢垃圾。乱丢垃圾是一种十分普遍的现象，甚至有些人把它看成是一件理所当然的事情。所以我想先给大家算一笔账：全世界有近70亿人口，如果每人每周乱丢两次垃圾，每次垃圾重50克，那么地球上每周就会有70万吨的垃圾。像这样长此以往、积少成多，地球最终会变成一个大的垃圾场，它将不会再是我们眼中那颗美丽的蓝宝石了。所以在此我呼吁大家一定不要乱扔垃圾，而是把垃圾分类放入垃圾箱，以便环保人员用科学的方法处理掉它们！

保护环境其次要拒绝白色污染。据资料显示，全世界一年至少有5000亿塑料袋被人们拎回家，每分钟就会用掉100万只。数字庞大，触目惊心！这些塑料袋是不易腐烂的有毒的物品，不仅会污染环境，还会带来农作物的减产。如果遇上有风的天气，还会上演垃圾袋满天飞的闹剧！所以请大家少用塑料袋。出门买东西时带个手提袋，既省钱又环保，何乐而不为啊？

还有一点，保护环境要节约用水。我国是水资源及其缺乏的国家，虽然总体上水资源拥有量达到2。8亿立方米，但人均只有2200立方米，是全球13个人均水资源最贫乏的国家之一。尽管我们这么缺水，可还是有许多人不珍惜用水。每天都会看到有人洗完手后忘记关水龙头，或者洗手时大开水龙头。人三天可以不吃饭，但不能不喝水呀！水是生命之源，所以请大家节约用水。不仅如此，我们还要节约用电、天然气等这些自然资源。

保护环境，人人有责，所以请大家赶快行动起来吧！从你做起，从我做起，人人争当环保小卫士，共建我们和谐的地球大家园！

Many people believe that we have developed into a “throw-away society” which is filling with plastic bags and rubbish. What do you think?

Wind blows up bags higher and higher in the sky. It is a scary thought that some day the earth will turn into a huge garbage land. Wastes, if not treated properly, will make our life a living nightmare.

The environmental issue is getting worse almost every day in cities with very large population. As is often the case, city development outpaces environmental protection. People consume great amount of natural resources and produce wastes. To effectively address such problems, cities need to spend big money. In addition, they need to call to the attention of people to become more environmentally responsible.

Many people are becoming less responsible and easily influenced by bad behaviors. “Why should I care while others shouldn’t?” Such idea makes some people only concern with places where they live and work. Furthermore, people sometimes even purposely litter for revenge to other people.

Although media promotes environmental awareness, good people are often snubbed as posers who try to set up a superior image in real life. Consequently, they are intimated of receiving negative comments for doing the right thing. Wrong as it is, such phenomenon is widespread especially among youngsters and people with low income and little education.

However, our society is waging a campaign against environmental pollution. People learn the harms of un-degradable lunch boxes and other polluting wastes. Laws in many countries prohibit or limit excessive use of polluting bags. Companies are continually replacing the old materials with more environmental friendly and recyclable kinds. Scientists have developed more effective technologies in waste treatment. As time goes by, more and more people put high priority on the protection of environment for a healthier life.

To sum up, people produce huge amount of garbage and the environment is seriously polluted because of lack of financial resources, sense of responsibility, or efforts. But the world will not turn into a “throw away” society if people put in sufficient efforts to protect our environment.

尊敬的市长伯伯： 您好，非常激动能够给您写信。

您最近身体是否很健康?工作是否顺利?最近雾霾天气相当严重，您别忘了出门前要及时戴上口罩，以免影响您的身体健康。

为什么最近雾霾天气会如此频繁呢?原因有以下三点：

1.在水平方向静风现象增多。城市里大楼越建越高，阻挡和摩擦作用使风流经城区时明显减弱。静风现象增多，不利于大气中悬浮微粒的扩散稀释，容易在城区和近郊区周边积累。

2.垂直方向上出现逆温。逆温层好比一个锅盖覆盖在城市上空，这种高空的气温比低空气温更高的逆温现象，使得大气层低空的空气垂直运动受到限制，空气中悬浮微粒难以向高空飘散而被阻滞在低空和近地面。

3.空气中悬浮颗粒物的增加。随着城市人口的增长和工业发展、机动车辆猛增，污染物排放和悬浮物大量增加，直接导致了能见度降低。

我想，这三点因素一定就是雾霾产生的原因了。我们小学生不仅要知道雾霾产生的原因，还要注意自我防护，像：雾霾天气少开窗、外出戴口罩、多喝桐桔梗茶、适量补充维生素D、

饮食清淡多喝水等。

让我非常惊讶的是，石家庄在中国空气质量指数排行榜仅仅排名第97位。这令我十分难过，没想到从小生活的城市空气质量那么差!不过更惊讶的是首都北京竟然是排名“倒数第三”，太可怕了。

我认为，地球三大生命要素是：空气、水、土壤。只要这三种少了一种，人类就会灭绝。所以保护环境是非常重要的。环境是人们所在的周围地方与有关事物，一般分为自然环境与人文环境。人文环境保护好了，自然环境就会好。

我们目前是小学生，虽然我们还没有办法保护祖国的环境，但是我们有能力保护好校园的环境、社区的环境以及街道的环境。

从小做起，从我做起。保护环境，人人有责!在这里，我提议：

1. 利用电视台向全国人民发起倡议，在自己生日当天种下一颗树。

2. 提倡汽车单双号出行，可以严重减少尾气排放、

3. 工厂搬出市区。

4. 拆掉小锅炉，采取集中供暖。
