My winter vacation

我的寒假

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

寒假期间，我的生活没有什么不同的。我每天十一点醒来，洗完碗后，与我的父母吃丰盛的午餐。之后我玩电脑游戏，玩到吃晚饭的时候。晚餐后。我继续玩游戏玩到凌晨两点，然后去睡觉了。这就是寒假我暗淡无光的一天生活。

But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meet some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2011 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

但我不是所有的时间都是那么的无趣。有时候我读书，有时我听音乐或在床上听收音机，因为外面很冷而且一整天都在下雪。寒假的时候我也会跟我一些好朋友见面，我们会聊各自在过去一年里的生活，一起打乒乓球。我会在2011年的最后一秒钟看中央电视台春节联欢晚会!我认为这是中国的大多数人会做的事情。

我家养了一只可爱的小乌龟。我可喜欢它了，每天都去看它。

它和别的乌龟与众不同。坚硬的背壳上穿着漂亮的绿衣裳，水灵灵的小眼睛总是东张西望，小巧的嘴巴非常贪吃，快速灵巧的四肢跑起来可快了。

它可贪吃了。今天我看它一动也不动，趴在那儿，闷闷不乐，用可怜的眼神看着我，还不停地张大嘴巴好像向我要吃的。看着它可怜的样子，我立刻拿出小虾米，分出一小块一小块，放在它的餐盘上。它看见立刻抬起头，眨着眼，伸长脖子就开始狼吞虎咽起来，不一会就把小虾米一扫而光，看它吃东西的样子真可爱呀!

第二天，我发现盆里的水黄黄的，黄中带了一些黑点，一看原来乌龟又拉便便了。我只好清理了脏水，小乌龟在干净的水里又快活地游来游去。

我爱这只穿着绿衣裳的小乌龟，因为它给我带来了无穷的欢乐!

the main schools created in ancient China, and they also have great influence on

Specially, kung fu, traditional Chinese painting, poem, opera, cooking,

clothing, architecture and many other kinds of cultural forms make up the

splendid Chinese culture. The kinds listed above are the typical ones which

connect to each other at the same time. For example, painting, clothing and

architecture has many things in common. And each kind of cultural form contains

numerous intentions.

In short, Chinese culture are the accumulation of Chinese history, which

makes Chinese culture colorful and prosperous. If one wants to know or study

Chinese culture deeply, he or she must spend much time in it, otherwise he or

she can only get the tip of an iceberg.

Christmas Day is on December 25th. It was originated in the western

country, but today, this festival has been celebrated by the world. For the

manufacturers, they are very happy to make this day as a shopping day. I enjoy

the great atmosphere.

I had a very special Christmas day last year. I experienced the western

style festival. There was a new foreign teacher taught us the lesson. She was

about 50 years old and she was very kind and we all liked her. On Christmas Day,

she brought us the desserts she made early in the morning. We enjoyed the

home-made cakes. Whats more, she invited us to came to her house and spent the

day with her. Then for the first time, I ate big turkey, which was so delicious.

The turkey was filled with many stuffs and the flavor was so good. After dinner,

we sang songs and danced.

Thanks to my foreign teacher, I experienced the American style festival. It

was such funny for me. Though today many people enjoy shopping in all kinds of

这时，少年陆天走过来，他刚才明明看到是小伙子撞了中年妇女，不是中年妇女撞了小伙子。陆天实在忍无可忍，上前对小伙子说：“我明明看见是你骑电动车撞了这位阿姨，你还敢说是这位阿姨撞了你?”说罢，陆天把中年妇女扶了起来。徐明恍然大悟，对小伙子说：“这里有人证，你还敢抵赖吗?”小伙子红着脸说不出话来。这时警察赶过来，徐明和陆天向警察把事情说明，警察对小伙子说：“你还有什么好说的?赶紧跟我走吧。”小伙子只好爬起来。幸好中年妇女没有伤着，只是衣服脏了一点儿。小伙子被警察带走了。中年妇女对徐明和陆天连声道谢：“今天真是多亏你们了，我差点被人讹了一把。”徐明和陆天互相对视笑了，不约而同地说：“阿姨，这是我们应该做的!”

她到了一家护理院，美容师拿着一瓶也不知道是什么的美容产品在她脸上涂涂抹抹；做完护理她照照镜子，看见自己变成了一个麻点点鸡蛋，因为他去海边的时间太长了，用一瓶只能恢复一部分。

她为了更美丽，就准备学习化妆！她买来化妆品，有口红、粉底、腮红、眼影……她用心学习，每天在脸上涂涂抹抹、描描画画，她还学习起了网上直播化妆教程。通她的.努力，她成了彩妆达人，出了名。

我的这个想法是从我接触乐高积木开始的，自从我4岁开始看到乐高积木，我就非常喜欢，我看了所有的乐高电影、电视片，家里为了培养我的兴趣，爸爸、妈妈、姨爸爸、姨妈妈帮我买了很多乐高积木，妈妈还让我参加了乐高校外课堂。我根据看到的影片，认真研究积木里的图纸，我可以凭着我的想象拼出很多东西：我看到打日本的电视，就做了装载武器的飞机、大炮;我看到外婆在扫地，就做了一个扫地机器人;我看到起火，就做了消防大队;我看到坏人，就做了警察局;我看了外星人，就做了星球大战;我做了很多很多东西，想到什么就做什么，然后不停的拆开又不停的拼做，这样，我做的东西外形越来越像，功能越来越多。我还挑选作品参加了比赛，也得了奖。我认为做好这些事情，就能当好一名科学家，用自己的智慧、能力，做出贡献，服务人们。

我长大了一定要当一名科学家，为了早日实现我的愿望，我会刻苦学习、天天向上，有志者，事竟成，总有一天，通过我的努力，我将梦想成真，成为一名真正的科学家。

As we all know, pollution is harmful to living beings. There are many

different types of pollutions in this world. For instance, water pollution, air

pollution, noise pollution and so on. Water pollution cause many kinds of

disease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases will

take people’s life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lung

cancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People’s health condition

will be damaged.

In my humble opinion, people should take measures to control the pollution.

Recently, not only the government, but also individual has taken part in the

action of protecting the environment. This is a good sign. Rivers are being

cleaned, air is purified, and the people come to realize that the importance of

protecting the environment.

However, this is not enough, the problems are still exist. Not all of them

have been solved. Some factories are still pouring dirty water into the rivers

or give off the toxic gas into the sky. We should know that protecting the

environment needs everybody’s effort.

“耶――放假了！”同学们欢呼着，跳跃着……这是两个月之前的景象，在教室里。

两个月之前，当期末考试结束的铃声响起时，是同学们最快乐，最向往的时刻。这个时刻的来临，就是我们幸福的暑假生活开始的日子了。我们不必去应付如山的作业，不必接受老师的检查，可以在家中玩电脑，看电视，可以和同伴一起玩闹嬉戏。一切都是快活，一切都是自在。

是啊！梦境已成过去，现实必须去面对。于是我们背着沉重的书包，踏上上学的路。也正是这两个月把我们从无知的七年级变成了长大的八年级。八年级了！再过一年，就会是成熟的九年级了，光阴似箭哪！

就在我们还沉浸在怀念中时，不知不觉，我们已经坐上了成长的列车，飞奔向前！

我们感受一路风景，享受成长的喜悦！

每个人的性格不同，爱好与癖好也各不相同。实不相瞒，我就有“收集癖”。

我所收集的物品各式各样。在我家的床头柜里、衣柜里，总能瞧见一个个箱子：有酒箱、礼品盒、铁皮罐，在这些箱子里面，又能发现许多古古怪怪的物件。有小巧精美的玩具、有年代久远的铜币、有神圣不可亵渎的经书这些都是我几年前所收集的“珍宝”。然而这些稀奇的物件从何而来呢?其中有的从我爸妈那所授，有的为我自己所收集。所以不分“贵贱”，每一件我都视如珍宝。每当有朋友来我家做客，我都会将我的“珍宝”一一展示，并自豪地介绍它们。

I was so lucky today.

In the morning I lost my wallet on the way from home to school. I did not noticed this until I got into our classroom. There was almost 100 yuan in my wallet. I grew panic and decided to go back to find my wallet when I met my friend Xiao Ming. He told me he found a wallet exactly looks like mine on his way to school and it was mine.

I am a girl of ten, and I live in a small mountain village far from Taiyuan. The only person that lives with me is my mother, because my father is away for eight years, working in a city.

我是一个十岁的女孩，我住在离太原很远的一个小山村。这与我的生活的唯一的人是我的妈妈，因为我父亲离家已经八年了，在一个城市工作。

During the Spring Festival, my father came back home. He looked thin and tired. He gave my mother two thousand yuan, and told her that he would work even harder, earn more money, and then he could take us to the city He stayed at home for only ten days.We are living a poor life now. But what I want most is not money, but my father. I miss him very much!

各班进入操场，原本就不大的操场立刻挤满了人。运动会开始了，每个班都在加油赢得项目第一，几个项目下来，我们基本赢了个遍。最后一个项目是我参加的30米迎面接力。多亏我们班有几个跑步很快的人，让我们遥遥领先于别的班。到我了!拿到棒的那一刻特别紧张，但是我很快就平复了下来。最后一棒跑的时候出现了一点意外，有个同学请假，最后一棒没人跑还好我们最后的那个同学坚持跑了两次。然后，我们赢了。

这次运动会，我们拿到了金牌，我领悟到了：只有自己的时候，要加油做到最好，再有团队的时候，要团队协作取得胜利!

我心里就想：今吃饭怎么这么快呢?于是就进房间来去看了一下.碗里光光的，是没有了.只是垃圾拦筐里多了个黑色的塑料袋，我一下就明白了。“杨洋过来!”我用严历的声音喊。“怎么啦，爸爸?”她畏畏缩缩的从外面走了进来。“你真的是把饭吃完了吗?”"是啊。“她低着头回答道。“抬起头来，看着我的眼睛在再回答!”她没有抬起头，反而低得更下去了，“爸色平时是怎么教育你的?”“勤俭节约。

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

Apart from academic work, I have been actively involved in extra-curricular activities. I am Chairman of the English Club and I have represented my school in many inter-school contests.

六岁的时候，我非常幸运，能和爸爸游历了美丽的大金湖。至今我仍记得那里风景优美，山清水秀，是度假的好去处。

那天，我们先在清澈见底的小河里坐竹排，在竹排上吃东西，吃完的纸张或塑料袋都不敢扔下河里，生怕弄脏湖水，有时候河水漫到竹排上又跑下去，好像在跟我们捉迷蔵。太阳的光照射在河里，水面波光粼粼，好看极了。

坐完竹排，我们来到了一线天，在一块石头上刻着“一线天”，石头下面有一潭很小很小的湖，在湖的前面爸爸拿着相机给我照了张相，照完相我们就进了，进去的时候有一条很窄的小路，但是我们必须从这里过去，我过去还比较容易一些，可那些大人们嘛，就比较难过去，这就像陆游说的那样：“山穷水尽疑无路，柳暗花明又一村。”我走出去一看，原来是一个洞，可是洞里的景象又把我惊呆了：前面有一座吊桥，吊桥旁边有一条护栏，桥下又有一潭清澈的湖水，湖边彩灯映着湖面，好看了。

大金湖真美啊！有机会我还要去，我相信，下次去，大金湖一定会更加美丽。

Freedom is an important right of people. It usually refers that you can do
