“鞠躬尽瘁，死而后已。”是这诸葛孔明一生的真实写照。只从跟先主桃源结义，他就把自己交给了兴复汉室的大业。他舌战群儒，联吴抗曹，北定中原;为完成统一大业，他其次率军征讨蛮邦，七擒孟获，保卫蜀国边境的稳定;临死之前在五丈原，他还用计吓跑了司马懿，为稳定了军心，赢得了时间。他夙兴夜寐，承担起了生命的责任和重量，尽职尽责，使三足鼎立的局面得以支撑和延续，他的敬业精神和卓著的英名千古流芳。

“苟利国家生死矣，岂因祸福避趋之”这是林则徐服务人民与社会而履职的信念。在腐朽的晚清王朝，西方列强把中国当做一只任意宰割的羔羊，用害人的鸦片，掠夺我真金白银。睿智的林则徐认识到西方列强的野心，他要忠于和履行自己的职责，为官一任，造福一方。虎门销烟，严禁烟土，对西方列强给予沉重的打击。但他也因此得罪了列强，腐败王朝媚外屈膝，被流放贬谪到伊犁。他没有因为自己的不幸而哀叹，而是兴修水利工程，修筑了著名的坎儿井，滋养着千秋万代的子孙。他把自己融入了国家与民族，担起脊梁的责任。祖国强大是他的大业，人民乐业是他的职责。他的精神和品行被代代传颂，成为忠贞爱国，尽职尽责的典范。

“敬业”一词仿佛在现代社会中很少提及，大多数人们在谈论的便是生活琐事和电影，明星。而职业对大部分而言，只是挣钱和谋生的方式。似乎经常听见有人抱怨;“哎呀，又要上班了。”职业仿佛是一个令人苦恼的词，而多数的人不愿干所谓低等的职业如技工，清洁工等。其实，若有一颗热爱工作和回馈社会的心，也就是敬业，干什么都很快乐的。当你扫完一条街道，或是做完一台手术，或是讲完一节课，看着自己的成果，总是自豪的。是呀!你是有价值的，是被需要的。
