March 5th is my birthday.Its also a special day to memorize a great person

-- Lei Feng. This year I celebrated my birthday in a different way. In the

morning, I got up early and cooked breakfast for my parents. At school, I helped

my desk-mates to repair their broken chairs.After school, I took my birthday

cake to the home for the aged. The old men were so happy to see me. All o~ them

hoped that I would be back again.What a joyful birthday it was!

我已经读完了叶圣陶老爷爷所写的《稻草人》。我很喜欢这本书，稻草人是农民亲手造的，他的骨架子是竹园里的细竹竿，他的肌肉、皮肤是隔年的黄稻草。破竹篮子、残荷叶都可以做他的帽子;帽子下面的脸平板板的，分不清哪里是鼻子，哪里是眼睛。他的手没有手指，却拿着一把破扇子——其实也不算是拿，不过用线拴住扇柄，挂在手上。《稻草人》书中有许多感人的故事，例如：《一粒种子》、《祥哥的胡琴》等……

寒假的一天

It was a very busy evening, I was doing my homework at my home. My father

was writing a composition in the study room. My mother was interested in

Shanghai opera. She was watching a Shanghai opera contest. The apartment was

very quiet. Suddenly the light went out. It was a blackout, but I liked it very

much. It came and I didnt have to do my homework. We went to the living room

very slowly.

After 5 minutes, we all sat in the sofa. It was a lucky, fortunate day. I

said that lets held a concert. My parents agreed with me. I took out some

candles and lighted up. We were singing, laughing and talking. We had a really

good time. But while I was singing, the light suddenly turned on. Oh, my God. My

father went back to his room went on writing.

My mother turned on the TV and said to me “Dear, do your homework!” I felt

very frustrated. I sat at the desk and thought I hated light. I hoped there

would be a blackout the ne_t day. I thought I would enjoy myself more and more.

I went into a dream.

这个故事同时也告诉我们：以前的生活那么惨，我们现在的生活如此幸福，为何不珍惜呢?

今天我读了叶圣陶爷爷写的一本书名叫——《稻草人》。这本书中对我触动最大的就是《傻子》这篇文章了。

这篇文章写的是傻子的经历，叫他傻子是因为文中有许多人都认为他的行为像是个傻子也因为他没有名字。他师父让他和他兄弟劈柴，可傻子却让兄弟睡觉，自己劈柴;他半路捡着元宝，却等失主来才走;他还把自己的.饭都送给了难民。

看了这篇文章，或许很多人觉得傻子很傻，事事为别人着想自己受苦。但是我却认为傻子并不傻，他有一颗善良诚实的心，许多人都不曾拥有，希望我们身边会出现更多这样的“傻子”!

20__年2月1日 星期一 阴

昨天下午，曹_一说：“妈妈，我想跟您学做饭。”学做饭，这可是件好事情呀，说做就做。

首先，我们做最简单的：白汤(开水里下面粉糊)、清炒土豆条。目标确定后，我只在一边指挥，儿子就开始忙活起来了，我告诉他，先将饭锅添半锅水，放在燃气在上，然后打开天燃气阀门，在打开燃气灶炉等水烧开再加上面粉就可以了。在等水烧开的时间，我就让他去和面，先让他取一只碗，再盛点面粉，放适量的水，用筷子一个方向不停的搅拌，一会儿，儿子就搅拌均匀了。于是，他就不停的看看锅里的水开了没有，终于，儿子大叫：“妈妈妈妈....冒热气了，冒很大的热气了，水肯定开了，你快看看呀!”水果然开锅了，于是，我就让儿子拿了张小凳子，踩在上面，(因为，灶台太高，他看不见。)教他一边搅拌一边下面糊，这样就不会粘锅了，然后儿子就站在灶台边，等锅里面的白汤冒小泡泡(我告诉他，冒小泡泡就是开锅了，就可以端下来了。)几分钟后，白汤终于做好了，我一直夸儿子很棒!儿子高兴的一直在那里嚷嚷：“妈妈，真好，这是我第一次做饭，肯定很好喝，这汤可是我做的哟!”瞧这家伙荣幸的!

汤做好了，该做菜了，第一步现将土豆去皮洗净再切条，从没有摸刀切菜的儿子，毫不胆怯，拿起刀一片一片的切起了土豆片，等他切好后叫我，乐得我哈哈大笑，两个土豆被他切得什么形状的都有，不过还好，看上去还像是土豆片，然后我又教他怎样切成条，我就忙我自己的事情去了，等他切好再次叫我时，我一看更是乐得合不拢嘴，儿子竟然将土豆片全部切成了土豆丁!我高兴的夸儿子的切法有创意，儿子大叫：“妈妈，我的菜多有创意，呵呵，宫爆鸡丁!不，土豆丁!哈哈哈哈.....”儿子又切了点青辣椒和葱花。关键的一步---炒--就开始了，我们首先往炒锅里加了点花生油，爆香了葱花，倒入儿子的土豆丝(土豆丁)，我拿着儿子的小手几番翻炒后，一盘香喷喷的土豆丁出锅了!儿子乐得直呼：“妈妈，你不光是我学习上的老师，还是我学做饭的老师，你要不教我，我还不会做这么香的饭呢!谢谢你妈妈，你真好，我第一次做饭，肯定很香!”我乐得夸儿子成了妈妈的小帮手，会帮忙吗做饭了，儿子做的饭肯定很香!

果真，吃晚饭，儿子吃得很香，一盘土豆丁，被他扫的所剩无几。直到睡觉时，儿子还一直沉浸在做饭的喜悦中。

妈妈常说冬天是最长肉的季节，我说寒假最最长胖。因为假期天天大鱼大肉，吃饱就睡。为了不让我成为一个小胖子，爸爸每天晚上吃过饭就要拉我和妈妈下楼锻炼身体。晚上一下楼我就会兴奋的跑起来，妈妈说不能吃过饭就剧烈运动。

我根本就听不进去，一溜烟儿就跑了。来到经常锻炼的小花园，虽然冬天的晚上很冷，但是这里很热闹。有的在跳广场舞，有的在跳绳，有的在练歌，有的在打太极拳，还有些爷爷奶奶聚在一起在聊天。我最喜欢去小朋友待的地方，我们有好多人有时候玩游戏，有时候学着跳广场舞，有时候玩跳绳，每次都玩得不亦乐乎。

爸爸妈妈给我规定，每天晚饭后可以下楼锻炼一个小时左右。这样不但不会长胖而且身体会越来越棒，为了棒棒的身体也为了能和我好朋友一起，我每天晚上都迫不及待。我一定会坚持!

今年的元宵节，我们一家是在奶奶家过的。奶奶提前就对我们说过：“元宵节是很热闹的，因为元宵节我们老家有这样一个风俗习惯。”大街上挂着许多好看的花灯，我听着就产生了强烈的兴趣，过了大年就眼巴巴地盼着元宵节快些到来。

元宵节终于盼到了。晚上，我吃完饭就带这妹妹蹦蹦跳跳去看灯。我们一口气跑到大街上。喝!灯真多啊!这里来一条“龙”，那里来一条“龙”，扭扭摆摆的满街都是，五彩缤纷，鲜艳夺目!看的人也真不少，不说是人山人海，却也拥挤不堪，热闹极了。

只见那些龙灯张牙舞爪地时而降下，时而腾起，有时“龙”的肚子几乎都碰到地面了，却又一跃而起。这样不断上下翻滚，真是姿态万千。我的眼睛跟着上上下下，简直应接不暇了。

看啊，那边还有狮子灯。那狮子就像活的一样，它那凶恶的样子，一眼看去，真能吓得你后退三步;然而，它那笨拙的体态，又使人担心它究竟如何，可是当它舞动起来以后，却是那样灵活，十分可爱，只见它张开口，两眼里分别装着的手电筒，炯炯发光，露出一副百兽之王的神态，球灯闪到哪里，它就扑到哪里。甚至还做了一个“脸朝大地肚向天”的“翻肚”动作，引得人们喝彩不迭。

这一夜，到处都是“咚咚锵锵噼噼啪啪”的声音，到处都飘散着爆竹的硝烟味，到处都洋溢着欢歌笑语;游动的灯笼和闪烁的电灯汇成了一片灯海。这个元宵节过的太开心了。

My winter holiday is intersting, my winterholiday is very interesting.I can play a computer and watch aTV in the home.I still read some good books in the winter holiday.Because of the plan of value result of our school, let us time of few lesson remaining.Also opportunity to have no does the affair that likes to do.So, the winterholiday liked too to me.

Today，Im very happy，why?Because Im go to the park with my dad，my mom and my good are play football at the football field and father teaches me how to swim，then we are have a pinic in the park，next I and my best friends are going skating，we play all the afternoon，we are boating in the lake at the eat the dinner at the restaurant in the park，then we go to home.I am very happy this day.

As is known to us all, teachers play an important role in our process of

growing up. As far as I am concerned, an ideal teacher should be responsible,

impartial and wise.

First of all, a qualified teacher should be responsible. For one thing, he

should try his best to make his class interesting and try to understand what his

students need. For another, he needs to keep enthusiastic with his job of spread

knowledge all the time and act as an example for others everywhere he goes

to.

Second, be impartial is another requirement. As a teacher, he should not

divide students into good ones and bad ones since each student has unique

characteristic and value. Therefore, no matter what kind of students he

encounters, he should treat them impartially, without any bias.

Finally, my ideal teacher is one who does not only teach students his

specialized knowledge but also can give students some guidance about life and

about how to act as human beings. This guidance has a great effect on students’

outlook on life and sense of worth.

To sum up, an ideal teacher should not only pay attention to the

achievements his students get, but also put emphasis on developing students’

correct views on life and sense of worth.

我有一个小小的心愿，为了这个心愿，我曾努力过数回，曾梦想过，曾奢求过。可从未达成，我多么期望能满足啊!

前段时间大家班上举行了有趣的表演，看着陆欣怡、刘江南、陈慧颖的精彩表演，我陶醉极了!便产生了想拿着小提琴在全班演奏一番的小小愿望。妈妈问我为何?在其它场所不是也可以表演吗?我说：“我很想，我想展示一下，我想做音符，给班级带来开心的音符。”妈妈见我掷地有声，就说：“那就看你自身的表现喽!”

I believe everybody has their own hobby. Different people have different

hobbies. For me, my hobby is music. I like music very much. It is magical for

me. It gives me the sense of happiness. It can make me happy when I am sad. I

will listen to music every day. I listen to it on my way home and school, before

居然要两份双倍!我拼了命似的抄，抄得头痛腰酸，手都快抽筋了也抄不到一半。结果那个好朋友以为我“偷工减料”，好长时间对我不理不踩的，而我换来的后果是我的手发麻了。就是没有一声小小的拒绝，令我们双方尴尬不已，而最严重的受害者还是赶鸭子上架——吃力不讨好的自己。

也是在那一次后，我每逢遇到一些不能自己把握的事，我都会选择拒绝。人生也这样，你如果碰上自己不能力所能及或把握不住的事，千方不能碍于朋友或面子的关系而去答应，那只会令你在激烈的社会竞争中，输得一败涂地!

最可耻的，不是拒绝，是强求。

Dear Sir,

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.
