I am very lucky because I have a happy family. There are three people in my family.They are Dad,Mum and I .

My father is a worker .He works in a factory near our school. He likes his work very much.In his spare time, he often goes fishing.Sometimes he likes watching TV at home. My mother is a farmer. She is very diligent and kind.She works hard on our farm every day.I am a middle school student. I am studying in No.5 Middle School . I am in Class Three, Grade One. I am very good at English , I love our school and teachers . I like oranges ,pears bananas and apples very much . I also like doing housework and watching TV. I love my Dad and Mum verymuch. They also love me, and are very strict with me .Sometimes ,I also teach them a little English. I am vey glad to have such a happy and warm family.

Im ，26 years old ， born in city ，HeNan Province.In year 1996，I entered University， majoring in Machincal Designing and Producing. During those 4 yearsstudy，I worked hard and I was always active in various activities . I gained the first scholarship for four times and I joined the Communist Party at the college.After my graduation in June 2000，I worked in ——company.I got a position in the Technology Department the first year and I was involved in several internet projects， such as the one for College student Recruitment in Henan Province and the one for Computer Center in Mathmatics Department in Zhengzhou University. Owning to my hard work ，I was rewarded the Best Newcomer Prize in the year 2000. The next year， I was transferred into the Principal Customer Department， responsible for the Developing and strengthening a good relationship between the principal customers and my company .Two major customers， Henan Provincipal Department of Transportation and Henan Provincial Department of Personnel， are under my work. However，with time going on ，the more I experienced， the clearer I realized that Im really interested in the Enterprise Management .I find many enterprises have the problem of an unmatched management to its developing speed . Im eager to learn more about management and I hope I can study further in this University. So I resigned in August ， 2003 and started the way to pursuing my studies. After about half years hard work， Im finally standing before you honorable professors now. Im really excited . Though Ive sacrificed much on my way to pusuing studies， I believe its worthwhile. The large number of our population has become one of the most serious problems of our society. according to a recent survey of the national bureau of statistics, there are more than 1.3 billion people in our country, which account for about 1/5 of all the people in the world. the same survey also predicts that our population will grow quickly in the years to come.

overpopulation has brought about a series of negative effects to our economic development and social security. in the first place, too many people impose a heavy burden on our environment. as a result, we suffer from a shortage of fresh water and natural resources. in the second place, as the supply of labor greatly exceeds the demand of the society, many people become employed. this is a source of social unrest. last but not least, we have to manufacture all kinds of products to meet the needs of the people, which causes environment pollution to our lakes and land.

serious though the problem seems, we have to take some measures to tackle it. on the one hand, the government should carry out more strictly the policy of family planning, thus reducing the total number of population. on the other hand, all the people should realize the harms of overpopulation. with the concerted efforts of all the parties concerned, we’re sure to solve the problem in the future.
