做菜是奶奶的绝活。她煮的菜，吃起来香香的，使不爱吃菜的我都变得不放筷子了。其实，看奶奶做菜简直就是一种享受。她一进厨房，锅碗瓢盆就开始演奏起来，叮——当叮咚——叮当。只见奶奶刷刷地把菜切成或片、或丝、或块，又熟练去炒起来了。这时油锅里传出一阵噼哩啪啦的声音。不过一会儿，一桌丰盛的佳肴就摆到了眼前。你瞧，一盘盘色香味俱全。我挟一筷放进嘴，感到奶奶做的菜真是太好吃了，就像在沙漠里渴得要命的时候，突然喝到一口甘泉一般。我真想妈妈也有这手艺。

奶奶不仅做得菜好，还是一位美的创造者。

有一次我在扔易拉罐的时候正好被奶奶盯住，奶奶说：别扔。还可以变废为宝！我又只好把易拉罐拿了回了。只见奶奶把易拉罐洗了洗，拿出剪刀，把易拉罐剪成了一个十分漂亮的花篮。这时我才恍然大悟，奶奶家中那些使我眼花了乱的装饰品都是奶奶自己做的。奶奶对我说：你看看，变废为宝好吧！以后什么东西都不要乱扔！这时，我对奶奶更是钦佩了。
