还记得6岁的那年，我身上起了很多红点点，爷爷带我到医院去，检查说是患了紫癜，当时医生要求马上住院治疗，您马上为我办理了住院的手续。爷爷每天陪我一起打针，奶奶在家把可口的饭菜做好，爷爷喂到我的嘴边看着我把饭菜吃完，陪我消磨医院那无聊的时光，每天晚上把我接回家，早上把我送到医院冶疗。半个月后我的病好了，但爷爷差点累倒了!

爷爷奶奶你们像一棵参天大树，我就像是大树底下的小树苗，享受着你们的庇护茁壮成长。谢谢你们多年来为我的付出，谢谢你们多年来给我的爱，爷爷奶奶我爱您们!

小时候，常听外婆讲自己的故事，只知道外婆的童年生活十分坎坷，充满了神秘的色彩。而在她的生命中，有一个人物起了至关重要的作用。他就是与外婆毫无血缘关系，年龄相差了十九岁的外婆的哥哥，即妈妈的舅舅。

新中国还未解放，外婆来到了这个世界。与众不同的是：外婆出生在苏州虎丘下。那时她的父母是***军官，一路随军，途经苏州时生下了外婆。后来，队伍经过江阴，外婆的母亲与父亲失散。当时，外婆嗷嗷待哺，她的母亲一手牵着一个三岁大的儿子，一手抱着刚出生不久的外婆。部队只在这儿呆一段时间，她必须随军继续前行。一路行军本已艰难，与丈夫的失散更使得外婆的母亲举步维艰。眼下，这两个孩子成了她最大的负担。

百般无奈之下，外婆被她的母亲忍痛托付给了江阴当地一个村庄上的一户贫农家里。据外婆所说，当时愿意收养她的这家有一个比她大不了几岁的瘸腿儿子，说就当童养媳养着吧。没想我那外婆由于没喝到奶水而体弱多病，难养得很。没几天那好心人家就害怕起来，急于把外婆送人。当时外婆已处于半昏迷状态，别人家岂肯随便收留？难道外婆要因此成为弃婴村里有一户人家，也算是村上条件较好的人家了，那家人的儿子知道后对自己的父母说：“养只狗都会看门，养个女娃”

于是，我的外婆终于有了安身立命的家，一个有哥哥、姐姐、爸爸、妈妈的家。外婆在这个家中快乐、健康地成长起来，直至恋爱结婚、生下我的妈妈。她的一生是坎坷而又幸运的。

听外婆讲到这里，我对外婆的这位恩重如山的哥哥充满了好奇与敬佩。他已八十四岁高龄，我称呼他为“外公”。外公是个老干部，写得一手好书法，年轻时当过书记，当年他还是澄江镇政府组织科长呢！

只可惜，在那期间爆发了文化大革命。红卫兵造反派开始造反，而作为文化人皆政府干部的外公自然也难逃此厄运。他遭到批斗，被认定为“走资派”，在那特殊的年代，遭受了令人无法想象的折磨。更羞辱人的是，他还被戴上高帽子，被拉去游街，甚至在脖子上挂大木牌，自己扇自己耳光骂自己“打倒沈根汝”“沈根汝是反革命”，外公还被骂作“顾学芝的狗头军师”。他一度被关进牛棚，限制行动，限制正常饮食，被人指骂为“牛鬼蛇神”。他整天整夜地被罚跪认错，膝盖跪痛了，就用老棉絮绑在膝盖上继续跪虽然外公遭遇了如此非人的待遇，但他从未放弃对生活的希望。

外婆也曾悄悄前去外公被关押的地方送饭，可是都有红卫兵拦着不让进。

终于，让外公受尽羞辱的文化大革命过去了，外公得以**。他被放了出来，重新回到家人身边，重新开始工作。作为一名老党员，他一直用自己的言行践行着作为一个党员的职责。

看着眼前已白发苍苍、面容慈祥的老人，谁能想到他曾经受过的那番苦。我的心中也不由得对这已八十四高龄的外公升起一股敬意，像外公这样乐观坚强、对生活对党始终充满希望的精神实在值得我们这些年轻人学习。

The light in my bedroom is light pink because I like this color.
