The Great Wall of China

每逢连续假期，爸爸妈妈总会带着我和弟弟回南部陪陪爷爷奶奶。而爷爷一听说我们要回去，总是开着车到高铁站迎接我们，然后朝着他和奶奶亲手打造出来农场直奔而去。因为他知道我们兄弟俩最爱跟在爷爷奶奶的身后，提个菜篮子摘取树上新鲜的龙眼、荔枝、香蕉等水果；或是学他们弯下腰来拔出泥中鲜嫩的萝卜、挖掘破土而出的竹笋；有时则穿梭于藤蔓间采收小番茄、丝瓜、豆子等等。因为爷爷年轻时也曾在高中任教“生物”这一科目，因此对于农场里的一草一木，他都能将它们化为“活教材”，一一的解说给我和弟弟听。此外，厉害的爷爷还会教我们如何捉蟋蟀、捕天牛，他可真是一个身藏不露的高手呢！而聪明的奶奶总是有办法将我们采收来的蔬果煮成一道道美味可口的菜肴，满足全家人的味蕾。因此，对我和弟弟来说，回南部去陪爷爷奶奶可真是一件大乐事呢！

而平常爷爷奶奶也常将他们亲手栽植的有机蔬果以冷冻包裹的方式寄送到北部给我们吃，或是分送给左邻右舍、亲朋好友，却从来不卖钱。记得有一年过年期间，葱价高涨，爷爷奶奶的农场里突然溜进来一个偷葱的不速之客，厚道的爷爷奶奶怕叫喊会吓着小偷，担心他会不慎跌进农场边的大沟渠，因此一声不吭的任小偷偷去他们辛勤栽种的青葱，他们还说：“现在葱价高嘛！穷苦人家拿去一些也无所谓啦！”还有一次，奶奶生病住院，妈妈、叔叔、婶婶除了轮流陪着爷爷照顾奶奶之外，还请了一个二十四小时的看护来照顾奶奶，但这个看护夜里总是贪睡，连奶奶夜里如厕需人搀扶、吃药需人帮忙，看护却依然呼呼大睡，没能好好的尽到照顾的责任，妈妈、叔叔、婶婶心里生气，想要换掉这个看护，爷爷奶奶却不愿意，一问之下才知他们是因这个看护家境不好，不想让她失去这笔看护的收入。而发生水灾时，爷爷奶奶的房子也淹了水，许多家具都损坏了，慈善团体抱着救济的物资来给爷爷奶奶，但爷爷奶奶却婉拒了，他们说：“我们的家还过得去，请你们将这些东西拿去送给更需要的人吧！”爷爷奶奶就是这种心胸宽大又有爱心的老人家！他们还常常告诉我：“做人要有大度量，才装得下大福气！”对于他们的为人与胸襟，我总是又感动又敬佩。

平时爸妈因为工作繁忙、我们因要上学而无法回南部看爷爷奶奶时，妈妈也会让我和弟弟打电话跟爷爷奶奶说说话。爷爷奶奶总会问问我们学校里的功课，叮咛我们要听话、要注意身体健康，言语之中总蕴含着无限的慈爱与关心，让我感受到无比的温暖。

我喜欢爷爷奶奶的慈祥和蔼，亲切随和；也喜欢爷爷奶奶的宽容大度，为他人着想。“家有二老，如有双宝！”我要常常抽空陪伴他们，学习他们的人生智慧，并与爷爷奶奶共享天伦亲情。

Dad every time to go to work, sitting on the bus, have to take a book, if there is a seat, he sat down, he immediately took out a book to see. My name is xxx . There are 4 people in my family. My father is a Chemistry teacher. He teaches chemistry in senior high school. My mother is an English teacher. She teaches English in the university. I have a younger brother, he is a junior high school student and is preparing for the entrance exam.

I like to read English story books in my free time. Sometimes I surf the Internet and download the E- books to read. Reading E- books is fun. In addition, it also enlarges my vocabulary words because of the advanced technology and the vivid animations.

I hope to study both  in English and computer technology because I am interested in both of the subjects. Maybe one day I could combine both of them and apply to my research in the future.
