压岁钱是尽孝资金的主要来源，可前几年由于没有很好计划，经常乱花钱，买不该买的东西，每年所得的压岁钱都花得所剩无几。想起来好后悔啊!今年春节过后，我又丰收了!得了950元压岁钱，加上去年剩下的和爸爸妈妈放长假回来给我的零用钱，以及我的稿费，共有1155元。为了既能尽孝，又细水长流，我想每次发“奖金”的金额不能太多，暂定每人每月5至10元吧。我把这个想法告诉爷爷奶奶，他们连连称赞说：“新薇，你真乖!懂得孝敬长辈了。我们同意你的办法。”

春节过后，该发一月份的“奖金”了。我想要充分发扬民主，不要个人说了算，那就采取自我总结，大家评议，举手表决吧。二月初的一天晚上，我主持召开家庭会议评奖。我刚讲完评奖的方法和要求，奶奶就发言说：“一月正好是春节，家里人多，家务繁重。你爷爷打主力最辛苦，应该发全奖10元。”奶奶的话音刚落，爷爷就发言说：“这个月奶奶也辛苦。节前她感冒了，仍然坚持整理房间，布置彩灯，张贴春联，把房间布置得焕然一新，为和谐家庭增添了节日气氛，也该得全奖。”爷爷的发言说得奶奶坐不住了，她站起来激动地说：“不行!爷爷比我辛苦，我应比爷爷少点。爷爷又马上插话，坚持奶奶的“奖金”不能少。

爷爷奶奶互相谦让让我好感动!此时室外虽然寒风刺骨，室内却温暖如春。我看他俩争执不下，该我来集中了。我说：“这个月爷爷奶奶都辛苦，为和谐家庭立了功。但为了按奖励办法发奖，适当拉开差距。我宣布：爷爷的‘奖金’10元，奶奶的‘奖金’6元。”大家听后举双手赞成，我如数把“奖金”发给了爷爷和奶奶。
