我一直记得有次国庆回家，爷爷奶奶您们带我一起摘棉花，那天气真好，阳光充足，沉甸甸的棉花果压得棉花枝干都弯下腰来，我和堂兄一起跑前跑后，摘得不亦乐乎，棉花田里面到处都是我们的欢声笑语，两个人鼻子上都冒着亮油油的，细细的一层汗水。我清楚记得奶奶您给我讲了很多棉花方面的知识，您说棉花是一种适应能力很强的农作物，它的根系特别发达，吸收水分能力强，能抗旱涝，棉花通常在每年4月份就要开始培育幼苗，5月份移植到田里，要经过施肥，抗涝，除虫等一系列培育过程，在每年的11月份左右才成熟。您们说只有辛勤的劳动，才能换取丰足的收成，做人要像棉花一样扎根大地，踏踏实实，向着阳光，不断进取。是的，我一直记得这段话，您们对我的教育我一刻不敢忘。

亲爱的爷爷奶奶，您们年龄也大了，您们要自己照顾好自己，按时吃药，注意保重身体。我会常回家看看您们的。
