At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier.

When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was.

他唯一的好友在战斗中不幸身亡，为了完成好友的遗愿，阿甘竟然真的去买了一艘渔船，就像好友生前说的那样，要捕好多好多的虾，就在别人看来是不能做到的事，阿甘凭着自己的执着做到了，还因此赚了大钱，办起了企业。为了纪念自己的好友，他把这个企业叫做吉布。甘企业，可是阿甘却并不想享受这么多的财富，他把企业的一半股份给了好友的母亲，自己去做了一份除草的工作。

阿甘就是这么一个诚实守信，重情轻财的人，虽然好友、亲人、女友一个个离他而去，但他仍然带着小阿甘坚强地活着，在常人看来，阿甘真的很笨，但他的人生是那么的纯洁无瑕，他那颗金子般的心，折射出了人性最耀眼的光芒!

那片洁白的羽毛又从阿甘的手中飞走了，它要去寻找一片新的天地，也许还会遭到风雨的袭击，可能会再次掉入万丈深渊，但他总是坚信，不幸的背后一定是一片蔚蓝的天空，那片美丽的羽毛将永远在阿甘心里自由自在，无忧无虑地飞翔。

看完此书，我感慨颇深。我希望我们的社会能在我们的努力下，成为像慧因国那样的社会。我愿为此付出，从我做起，从小事做起，从现在做起，让这个社会多一点阳光，少一点黑暗。

I have recently read Battle Hymn of Tiger Mother published by The Penguin Press in 2011. This autobiography was written by the Chinese American woman Amy Chua, a tenured professor in Yale Law School. She causes a sensation because her strict but unique parenting which brings excellent performance of her two daughters.

This autobiography tells the course of Amy Chua how she raised the two daughters in Chinese parenting way. It is divided into three parts. At the first part, it gives some introductions of the two daughters, the family. And in the second and third parts, the writer tells more details in the process of raising her two different daughters and the difficulties she was confronted in the process, and most importantly the success the daughters achieved in music which brought Amy Chua pride as well as the whole family.

To some extent, I don’t like Amy’s parenting in some aspects. In my opinion, she deprived the nature of children and pushed too much pressure on their children, especially on Lulu who was under the shadow of her excellent elder daughter—Sophia. While I was reading the third part in the rebellion part, I couldn’t control my own emotion, I felt what Lulu felt and even hated against her selfish and autocratic mother. I couldn’t understand why Amy didn’t let Lulu get up from sit, for water, not even to go to the bathroom when Lulu just wanted a rest during the long hours’ practice of violin. She made Lulu practice violin all day during the family’s vacation abroad. She spoiled the vacation by letting the other family members waiting the practice. She was unreasonable.

But next what I do is to admire her.

There is an old Chinese saying “property can never last for three generations”。 But Amy Chua did change it! Her parents came to U.S and suffered a tough life at the very beginning. They taught Amy math and piano in an extreme strict way when she was a kid. Under the influence of her parents, now Amy is frugal and pretty strict with her daughters and herself. They are the valuable points of her. Although she is so extreme on her parenting, she has the advisable ideas that the parents and the parents to be to learn.

Firstly, as parents, they couldn’t ignore their children and put all focus on their job. There is no excuse for not concerning their children. Except supervising her daughters, Amy Chua has to give lessons in university, write books and handle the family chores. She is so busy, but she doesn’t ignore the daughters.

Secondly, parents should be strict with their children especially when they are kids because kids lack of self-control. They should not indulge their children in internet or sleepovers.

Thirdly, parents should master some skills in parenting. As a matter of fact, there are so many Chinese parents who are strict with their children with no avail of success. Success can’t be totally copied, because some parents ignore the skills in parenting. When their children don’t follow their will or perform well enough to satisfy them, they will lose their temper and even beat their children, yes, of course, Amy Chua will be mad but she won’t beat her daughters, in this condition, she will be sober and wait until her daughters perform well enough. She learnt some music knowledge in her children’s class and supervised them patiently. She knew where to correct the mistakes and gave the children extraordinary success.

Tiger mother aroused a big heat in parenting and threw such an important issue for us to think about. Battle Hymn of Tiger Mother gives us really some enlightenment. Anyway, that’s a really unique experience in reading this book.

Actually all around us, including me, how many people and their parents communication, lack of proper form and opportunity, that between the two generations formed an unbridgeable chasm.

看了《亲爱的安德烈》这不书之后，我发现，作为子女，我们是多么的不了解自己的父母。他们渴望了解我们的世界，于是心思急切，于是这样的感觉让我们厌烦。于是我们就会不自觉的离他们更远。但是，我想，父母所作的一切都是源自于内心深处爱的喷泉。是爱，让他们管我们管的太严;也是爱，让他们在日益长大的、独立的子女面前手足无措。所以，无论外在的表现如何，内在的实质都是爱。

《摆渡人》是刚读完的一本英国小说。

内容讲述，一个父母离异性格内向的小女孩，独自一人坐火车去见自己的父亲，火车在通过一个隧道时失事，小女孩醒来时发现自己是这场事故的唯一幸存者。她走出隧道口，和远山坡上一直望着她的小男孩一起跨越这个荒原。

事实上，小女孩是这场事故唯一的遇难者，和小男孩相遇的是她的灵魂。

小男孩就是灵魂的摆渡者，将刚刚去世的人的灵魂从荒原摆渡到另一个世界，否则逝者的灵魂将被荒原上的魔鬼吃掉从而进入地狱加入魔鬼的群体。

故事情节颇惊心动魄，在跨越荒原的日子里，小男孩一直保护小女孩两人相依为命，产生了爱情。当小女孩跨越荒原成功摆渡到另一个世界时，因留恋小男孩而找到了回到荒原的办法再次与其相见。

当然，结局也没有让读者失望，二人一起从荒原逆行回到了人间，达到了圆满。

这个故事听起来似乎和平常我们看过的穿越剧，灵异电影相似。但当你仔细品读时，字里行间透露出我们对自己人生态度的思考。

对于死亡 ：

若人死了真有灵魂的摆渡者，那么死亡或许没那么可怕，只是离开了一个现实宇宙能看见的世界到达另一个颠沛流离的世界罢了，在那里有逝去的亲人，活着的人早晚有一天也会到来，死亡只是一个空间的跨越罢了。

曾经我读过一篇文章，是一个年岁很大的老者写的，他说若万事抱着一颗好奇的心去对待，或许就能消除恐惧。有人问老者害怕死亡吗?他说曾经很怕，因为他难以想象一个人走在死亡边缘那一刻什么感受。后来他不怕了，他很好奇那一刻的到来，他会是实践者，他要知道答案。

在我的读书生涯里，也有同学的父亲或母亲离世了，伤痛的他们我们无从安慰。一个人在接受亲人的离开时会有种崩溃的感觉。若他们能将亲人的离开看做是空间的跨越，或许心灵的伤痛会有所减轻。

以前在书上看到过这样一句话，我们每个人都来自墙上的一幅画中，只是从静态的平面跨越到动态的立体空间，如果有的人离开了，TA只是回到了那副画里而已。 当我看到这句话的时候，突然觉得特别轻松，因为那一刻开始我觉得世界没有可怕的事情，一切都是我们的心态所为，如果连死亡都不怕了，世界还有更可怕的事情吗?

看过一个访谈节目，专家说这世界有太多永远解不开的秘密。比如，人死了到底有没有灵魂，到底有没有另一个世界的存在，这没有人能亲自实践过再回头告诉世人答案。所以，大可像那位老者一样保持好奇心，亦或相信还有另一个世界的存在。

When I read the book To Live, I know I have own a lot of happiness in this period. To Live allowed me to see the people’s suffering and hardship in old China. But the most important is the spirit that age gives to them.

To Live described Fugui’s life who lives in The Cultural Revolution and Great Leap Forward. Fugui borns in a host family, when he was young, he often went outside gambling. Of the past with each passing day, his little son was going to middle school, but his disaster began again. His son lost his life for saving his classmate whose father is the mayor of the town. Backlog of the pain and frustration, he and his wife as if had lost a lot and they nearly lost confidence of living. Fortunately, they have a sensible daughter, although she couldn’t talk, but she helped her parents go through the pains. Later Fengxia married to Erxi who is an honest man, but fate still made fun of this hard-working and simple girl, she died from giving birth. And then later, in the heavy blows, Fugui’s wife left him forever.

Life had lost all his family, leaving him, last remaining alive. I don’t know how I can experience his life in that age, his disease that he had to face, but I know Fugui had learnt to respect for life, be properly alive.

从影片的制作看，影片用了较多的短镜头，然后按照必须的历史顺序和表现意图进行组接。比如里面的历史事件和阿甘的成长轨迹的联系，还有就是前面大部分事件都是透过阿甘等车叙述回忆的，因而要贴合叙述的次序与回忆的片断性。还有如各个人物的出场也是需要经过蒙太奇处理的。影片的表现是纯朴的与其纯朴不加修饰的主人公相对应。在海上则运用了自然音响与画面相对应，突出其真实性。影片基本上都是声画合一，很少用对立去造成一种与主题不相干的冲击力。另一方面，影片时间的跨度虽然没有直接说明，却巧妙地运用电视的画面里出现的重大事件（开始于猫王，其他的前面已说过）来表现时间的跨度的，与历史重大事件相关联和对应的是阿甘命运里的重大事件。

这部电影的迷人之处并不在于任何视觉的艺术性，而在于导演高超的编排技巧和电影语言的运用和艺术上的处理，而影片中对传统道德观念的宣扬和体现更使影片变得易为人们所理解。

This summer holiday, I read a book called Andersen Fairy Tale. The book has many interesting stories. I cant forget one of the story of this book, ugly little duck. It is very ugly, who has been bullied. It was alone, no animals would play with it. In the cold winter , it almost froze to death in the forest. However, it finally frying by its own efforts. It turned into a beautiful swan. It is not an ugly duck anymore. This story tells us: in the face of injustice, it is only through their own efforts, as have happiness and joy.

Ive read this twice. The first time I rushed through it just to find out who was the "victim." Yeah. Wasnt really surprised about that. Im sure a few people are thinking it was a serious mistake to off our lamented victim, but honestly, I wasnt really enthused at having to slog through this book.

I understand that this is covering the adolescent years of young Mr. Potter, but the whole teenage angst thing came out of nowhere. There shouldve been some hints as far back as "Chamber" but instead, we have four years of pent-up hormones come flooding out of the page. It is overwhelming at times, a feeling made worse when you realize that there wasnt a big plot; if anything, this was written partially for contract, partially to continue the story （I, personally, could have lived without the whole Hagrid/Grawp subplot, not to mention 50% of Dolores Umbridge, who herself is part pun, part metaphor, yet neither part really does anything but make one groan）。

But one thing to be said, there is growing tension and suspense in the book, which is written and intended--if we remember for a moment and think （perhaps somewhat na-iv-ely）--for young adults and not those of us with seasoned palates. This is why the book deserves a high rating; to me--and to many individuals over the age of, say, 16--this isnt a great novel. But it is an excellent novel for the young adult crowd and anyone who wants a mystery/fantasy/pseudo-thriller with characters who are reaching the genesis of their development. We may not like the person Harry becomes or the browbeating attitude of Umbridge or Rons jealousy rearing its head at odd turns, but it is a realistic portrayal of adolescent confusion and angst, of the tendency for some individuals in todays society to repreinformation and punish anyone who tries to resist the "system."

Yes, this is a heavy-handed statement, but this book is a metaphor as much as it is a fantasy. Remember, the Harry Potter series is desgined as an arc, so we naturally have to have the stage set for the final two books in the saga.

Hardcore Potter fans will enjoy this. Anyone expecting a great epic, however, will be disappointed because of their misconceptions.

Scarecrow wanted some brains, but on the way to emerald city, he came up with a way across the river. Timid lions want to be brave, but when they meet the river, he jumps over it with other friends. The tin man wants a heart, he says he can t love, but he doesn t want to hurt any animals.

In fact, they all have the things they want: the Scarecrow is clever, the Cowardly Lion is brave and the Tin Man is kind-hearted.

This book tells us a story of how a little girl Dorothy goes back to her hometown when she is in another strange city. Dorothy is a little girl who lived with her aunt and uncle in Kansas. The weather there is very bad, sometimes there was a cyclone. When a cyclone came, people stayed under their houses. But one day a cyclone blows Dorothy’s house, with Dorothy and her dog Toto in it, to a country called Oz. In that city there are four witches and a very famous wizard—the Wizard of Oz. And Dorothy’s house just fell on the bad Witch of the East and killed her, so the people there were very happy. Dorothy took the witch’s red shoes and wore them. She wanted to go home to Kansas but she doesn’t know how to get there. So the Witch of North told her to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard of Oz to help her. Then Dorothy met the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, but they need help too. The Scarecrow wanted some brains, the Tin Man wanted a heard, and the Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave. So they all take the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. On the way to the Emerald City they met some difficulties, but they solved them successfully. After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too. So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. But when the balloon is going to raise, Dorothy’s dog Toto jumped away to run after a cat, so Dorothy had to get Toto back and they were left in Oz. She solved problems when they met difficulties. It’s really not easy for such a little girl.

We also learn that teamwork is important for us. When we are in trouble, we can ask our friends for help, and also, when our friends need help, we should go and help them. Just remember, more people, more power. It’s always better has more people to do a thing. Teamwork is really necessary in our lives.

And we can see the Scarecrow is absolutely cleaver, he understands things, he can think, he learn quickly, and he suggested Dorothy to cut down a tree to cross the river. The tin man has a kind heart, he laughs, he cries, he loves, he feels sorry for people. The Cowardly Lion is really brave, he did a lot of brave things, he carried the friends to go across the river, and he wanted to find some food for his friends and so on. We should learn from them too. When we are in trouble, we should calm down, watch the things around carefully, and try to think out of a way to solve it, just like the Scarecrow. We also should be brave as we are in danger, we can’t be afraid, we should face the difficulty and try to go through it, just like the Cowardly Lion. And we should learn to love people, to feel sorry for people, to make more friends, to get on well with everyone around us, just like the Tin Man.

Yes, we should learn how to get on with other people, we should help each other, we should be brave, we should love other people. If we can do like this, we can be a better girl (boy), more and more people will make friends with us, and more and more people will like us!
