English is one of my best subjects and I started learning English when I

was ten years old.

But at the very beginning, listening seemed a little difficult for me. So I

have been doing a lot of listening practice, such as listening to tapes,

watching English TV programs. And I found it really helped a lot. In fact, there

It was a hot day during my summer holidays in 2003. My mother and I got on the bus which would take us to the village where my grandma lived. It was so hot that I felt very thirsty. Then I began to think of the sweet big watermelons and other fruits in Grandma’s house. I could hardly wait to arrive there and see my grandma.

It took us one more hour to get there. When we walked into the house, Grandma was busy preparing lunch in the kitchen. 互动小游戏“谁是卧底？”是整个联欢会的高潮。几位主持的同学来开展游戏，两个小组为一个大组来玩游戏。我因为是第一次玩，难免有些不习惯，我一玩之后，很快就被淘汰出局了。不过，游戏的过程是很有趣的，所以我也感到很愉快。

联欢会最后以激烈的“众人踩气球”游戏结束了。经过一阵“狂欢”之后，大家纵然快乐，但也很疲惫。而且还带来了垃圾多的问题，垃圾的问题最终又被我们班全体同学解决了，实在是很辛苦。不过，我们觉得玩得很尽兴。

在我看来，这次元旦联欢会真正的意义在于增进了同学间的友谊，同学们通过交换食物，学到了与人分享，所以我们班的联欢会是很有意义的。所以，我明白了，生活中处处有东西可学。尽管只是一个元旦联欢会，但同学们学到了很多，还获得了很多快乐。这才是元旦联欢会的真正的意义所在！
