走进校门，左手边是一面大理石墙，墙上刻着《杨家坪小学赋》它介绍了我们学校的办学特色，左前方有一块造型奇特的石碑，上面刻着四个红色的大字“立字立人”，这是我们学校的校训，就是希望我们字写得好，人也要做得好。石碑周围生长着许许多多的竹子，翠绿的竹叶散落在石碑周围，虽然有一些枯叶已经腐烂，但是周围的竹子仍然使石碑富有生机。

再往前走就到了左边的小操场，一眼看过去有一面长长的书法墙，墙上刻着有纂书，行书、草书、隶书、楷书等，上面刻着书法的小故事。小操场四周都种满了植物，旁边就是我们5层楼的教学楼－翰墨园，一楼进门处还有一块很大的石碑，上面刻着十六个隶书大字，“读书在博，写字在正，做事在勤，做人在真”，让我们每次经过都看得清清楚楚。

右边就是我们的大操场了，入口的花坛里长着一棵参天大树，夏天的时候，这棵大树就会长出粗枝茂叶，为我们遮挡太阳，我们就可以去乘凉了。大树的旁边还有一处教学楼－习砚楼，故名思意，里面有我们的书法教室，绘画教室等。在空旷的大操场边上，主席台格外显眼，上面还有一根旗杆，旗杆上飘扬着鲜艳的五星红旗，操场的左边有一排橱窗，里面放着令人赏心悦目的书法作品和绘画作品，一边还摆放着许许多多的体育用具，乒乓球台，单杠，双杠……。在操场的小后门边还有一坛墨池，这坛墨池虽然没有墨水，但是它仍有它的故事。

“袁隆平”ohmygod，越不想来到的事情越来得快！“袁隆平，那个同学叫袁隆平，站起来！”额！老师那能够雷震八方的声音又响起了！同学们的哄笑声如潮汐般一阵又一阵的涌来，一阵比一阵强烈！我终于忍受不住了，倏地站起来，冲着老师大声说：“老师，你是不是近视！如果没有眼镜现在去配一副，免得下次再把别人名字读错。还有，请看清，我的名字不叫袁隆平，而是袁铭婷！”“哦，袁隆平，不是！袁铭婷同学。对不起，我忘戴眼镜了！”晕！我干脆拿豆腐撞墙去算了、拿根面条上吊去算了！
