从入学到现在，身边的这棵大树已经增添了六个年轮，每一个年轮，都仿佛是以本色彩斑斓的画册，记录着学校的生活，记载着我们的故事。此时此刻，我的耳边有回响着充满墨香的心声；我眼前有浮现出引人入胜的课堂，热火朝天的劳动，有趣开心的郊游，你追我赶的赛常在我的眼前仿佛出现了一个画面，那是五年级的一次运动会，尽管那时候是热火朝天，可是同学似乎一点儿也没有感觉到热，他们在为赛场上将要比赛的同学大声的喊着“加油，加油。”这个时候有一位同学在将要离终点还有一点点距离的时候，脚滑了一下，他失去了知觉，倒在了地上，那时所有在场的同学都很紧张，他们十分的担心那位同学的安危。在他后面的同学也慢慢的停下了脚步，他们也担心他会出事，就算赢了也是赢的不光彩，因为这个第一名本来是别人的，因为原来的第一名摔跤了，自己就拿了第一名。虽然失去了一个奖杯，但是用这个奖杯换来的是同学之间的友谊，收获了宝贵的真情。

我记得在三年级的时候，我得了一场病，有好几天没来上学，那时我的学习成绩很差，有许多的作业没做，老师您是那么的细心，您耐心的教我做一道又一道，盛饭的时候您还让同学帮我盛，您像照顾您的孩子一样照顾着我，在您和同学们的精心照顾下午的病很快就好了。

敬爱的老师，亲爱的同学，六年的光阴，转瞬即逝，身后的这棵大树，依然枝繁叶茂，郁郁葱葱。我们要告别多彩的童年，告别鲜艳的红领巾，进入多梦的少年时代，正准备到新的学校，去迎团徽的召唤。

Mothers Day is a celebration honoring mothers and celebrating motherhood,

maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in society. Its a day to show

thanks to mothers. This festival first appeared in ancient Greece and modern

Mothers Day originated in the United States which usually falls on the second

Sunday of May each year. Mothers usually receive gifts on this day and

carnation(康乃馨) is regarded as the flower for mother. In China, the flower for

mother is day lily(萱草花), also known as Nepenthe(忘忧草). In addition, cleaning up

the room, doing housework and a big dinner are considered to be the best

Mothers Day gifts.

This is my new ciassmate,Jack.He is the tallest student in our ciass.He has

black hair and big eyes,so he looks smart.He studies very hard ,he likes reading

and piaying football.He is also good at swimming,he is the member of our school

Swimming Club.

Jack is a poilte boy.He always help others if somebody needs help.For

example,last Friday,he helped an old woman cross the road when the traffic

lights is red.

In a word,he is very poilte and helpfull.All of the teachers like him very

much.

When memory began for me, my grandfather was past sixty-a great tall man

with thick hair becoming gray. He had black eyes and a straight nose which ended

in a slightly flattened tip. Once he explained seriously to me that he got that

flattened tip as a small child when he fell down and stepped on his nose.

The little marks of laughter at the corners of his eyes were the prodnct of

a kindly and humorous nature. The years of work which had bent his shoulders had

never dulled his humour nor his love of a joke.

Everywhere he went, "Gramp" made friends easily. At the end of half an hour

you felt you had known him all your life. I soon learned that he hated to give

orders , but that when he had to, he tried to make his orders sound like

suggestions.

One July morning, as he was leaving to go to the cornfield, he said :

"Edwin, you can pick up the potatoes in the field today if you want to do that.

" Then he drove away with his horses.

The day passed, and I did not have any desire to pick up potatoes. Evening

came and the potatoes were still in the field. Gramp, dusty and tired, led the

horses to get their drink.

"How many bags of potatoes were there?" Gramp inquired. "I dont know.

"

"How many potatoes did you pick up?"

"I didnt pick any. " "Not any! Why not?"

"You said I could pick, them up if I wanted to. You didnt say I had to.

"

In the next few minutes I learned a lesson I would not forget: when Gramp

said I could if I wanted to, he meant that I should want to.

Gram hated cruelty and injustice. The injustices of history, even those of

a thousand years before, angered her as much as the injustices of her own

day.

She also had a deep love of beauty. When she was almost seventy-five, and

had gone to live with one of her daughters, she spent a delightful morning

washing dishes because, as she said, the beautiful patterns on the dishes gave

her pleasure. The bird, the flowers, the clouds-all that was beautiful around

her- pleased her. She was like the father of the French painter, Millet, who

used to gather grass and show it to his son , saying , "See how beautif ul this

is ! "

In a pioneer society it is the harder qualities of mind and character that

are of value. The softer virtues are considered unnecessary. Men and women

struggling daily to earn a living are unable, even for a moment, to forget the

business of preserving their lives. Only unusual people, like my grandparents,

manage to keep the softer qualities in a world of daily struggle.

Such were the two people with whom I spent the months from June to

September in the wonderful days of summer and youth.

在我们村里，有一道优雅宁静的风景线，它是我们获取知识的地方，也是我们第二个“家”，它就是我们的校园。

在校门口的正上方，有引人注目的寺头中学四个大字，还有一个不加装饰的校门和护墙，体现了学校优雅的环境。里面还有教学楼、餐厅楼、宿舍楼，还有独特的教学风范，使这个山区学校顿时脱颖而出。

进了校门后，是一条宽广笔直的人行大道，给人一种心情舒畅的感觉。走了有一百米，就到了教学楼前面，五星红旗迎风飘扬，在旗下我们曾许下“认真学习、回报社会”的誓言，它是我们学习的见证。在红旗旁边，有两颗古老的芙蓉树，粗壮的枝干，像一个历史的见证人，它记录了我们校园变化的点点滴滴。记得在夏天，芙蓉花的香气弥漫了整个校园，朗朗的读书声飘荡在甜甜的花香里，学校的气氛更加和谐。

芙蓉树的后面，是我们去年刚刚新建的教学楼，它的面积是3084平方米，可容纳800余名学生读书。每当坐在教室里就心潮澎湃。以前的时候，住在那低矮的平房里，用的都是自备的桌椅，并且教室里一旦扫地就尘土飞扬。在冬天，教室里非常冷，冻得手都无法写字。现在，坐在宽阔明亮的新教室里，地面和墙壁都是用陶瓷铺的，而且是地热供暖，坐在这样良好的环境里，我们还有什么理由不好好学习呢?

在教学楼的四周，有许多绿化带环绕，它能净化我们的空气，使我们有一个不受污染的环境。

宿舍楼位于教学楼的后面，约占2820平方米，可容纳住宿生790多人。以前在平房住宿的时候潮湿不堪，在夏天还会有咬人的害虫。现在可好了，住在宿舍楼里，为我们的休息提供了一个良好的环境。

和宿舍楼紧挨着的是餐厅楼，有了它以后，吃饭的环境和条件提高了不少。它占地约1111.7平方米。但由于保护意识不够，餐桌大都受到大家的破坏，这就需要人人有保护意识，才能建设文明校园、和谐校园。

Every year, the thing I expect the most is the Spring Festival. My parents

work far from home and they come back one or two times a year. The Spring

Festival is the time they come home. Every time they come back, they bring mangy

things to me. When I was little, they bought me toys, new clothes and shoes.

Now, they often buy me books. They say more reading is good for me. They hope I

can learn more. The time spend with them is always happy but short. They only

have half a month at home. I hope they can stay at home longer.
