夏日炎炎，小鸟不知躲藏到什么地方去了；草木都低垂着头；小狗热得吐出舌头不停地喘气。在这样骄阳似火的天气里，可怜的我还抱着个又大又圆的西瓜，累得口干舌燥，恨不得瘫倒在地上，喝上一大桶水。我拿出一张餐巾纸擦擦大汗淋漓的脸，正想往地上一扔走人，忽然想起老师的教诲：保护环境，人人有责。现在因为人类不爱护环境，造成水土流失，破坏自然和生态环境，还减少了氧气，让二氧化碳极度增加！我打消了那个念头，咬咬牙，把餐巾纸捏在手里，重新挺起绿色“大肚子”。

刚开始还能忍受，没过多久，就受不了了。尽管只是张小小的餐巾纸，但太阳光线灼人，小路烤得发烫，脚踏下去一步一串白烟，手里的餐巾纸都热出水了，更别提手，那叫一个难受啊！

不仅如此，西瓜重达12斤，餐巾纸握在手里也不方便拎啊。我迫切地想要扔掉餐巾纸，但理智战胜了冲动。小玮，保护环境是每个人民的职责，你可不能这么轻易就放弃啊！坚持就是胜利，加油！我暗暗为自己鼓劲。我艰难地挪动着，汗水顺着脸颊流淌。一路上我四处张望，希望发现一个垃圾桶，可惜，连垃圾桶的影子都没看见。真是的，这路上好歹也得装个垃圾桶啊，不然人家在外怎么扔垃圾呢！我愤愤地想。没办法，只能靠自己了。就这样，我凭着坚强的毅力，挪回了家。 一回家，我扔了餐巾纸就倒在地上，吹着凉爽的空调，连水都没力气喝了。虽然又热又累又渴，差点中暑，但我心里还是很开心的，因为那张餐巾纸，体现了我保护环境的精神。我终于当了一次“地球环保小卫士”！

月十二日是植树节，可是，我没有参加学校组织的植树节活动。第二天，将功补过，在自家小区里种下了花种。

那天早上，我拿了一袋鸡冠花种子和两棵芦荟，带上劳动工具和一个水瓶，来到楼下。我和哥哥找了一块地方，因为没有铲子，我们只好用螺丝刀替代。我用螺丝刀挖了两个小坑，把芦荟一棵一棵地种下，还在边上撒上一圈鸡冠花种子。然后，浇上一壶水就大功告成了。

在回家的路上，我想，如果我们每个人都爱护身边的植物，保护身边的动物，植树种花，那么，我们的`家园就会越变越美丽，就会到处郁郁葱葱，生机勃勃。

一边想着，一边在我的眼前仿佛出现了这样一幅画面：花儿向我点着头哈腰，好像在向我们问好；大树抖抖手臂，可口美味的果子落了下来，好像是送给我们的礼物；小草从地里探出脑袋，好像在和我们做迷藏呢……真是一个美不胜收的家园啊！

地球就是我们人类的家园，也就是人类的母亲。我们依靠它，探索它。此时这个蔚蓝色的星球多么美丽，但我们要明白：地球只有一个！

遗憾的就是，许多人对于这个浅显易懂的道理却视而不见，继续为所欲为，妄顾地球家园的安危。环境科学家曲格平以前说过这样一句话：“唯有变革，才能拯救人类的命运，也唯有变革，才能使我们的子孙后代世世代代生存下去。”里面的“变革”就就是指环保。说得很对，所以如今有许多人拿着标语在街上喊空口号，却没有见过多的行动。难道这样污染就会好转吗？不！

看，我们城市里的河流的河水发黑发臭;排成长龙的汽车放出超多的废气；成片的绿地变成“石屎森林”；那清脆的鸟叫声消失得无影无踪。如果再这样下去，中国将继续贫乏水资源，空气将变得愈来愈浑浊，本世纪将有10%的鸟类物种消失。上述的事情，此时我们人类就是罪魁祸首！

人人皆知：树木能吸收二氧化碳，排放氧气，净化空气，就是我们人类生存的必要的条件。但就是有一些人为了金钱去乱砍滥伐树木，造成了过度的水土流失，使大地的植被受到严重的破坏，绿洲和城市也荒漠化，我们人类的生存受到了威胁。就我们平时用的一次性筷子，每一天都要耗费数十亩的森林，在那些人眼中，树木除了能够做家具和建筑材料外，似乎没有任何价值。难道还有人不懂树木对我们意味着什么吗我们居住面积已经很小了，如果再这样下去，可能连我们唯一的土地都失去。还有，我们的母亲河――黄河近年来河床和含沙量不断增高，成为全国污染最严重的几条江河之一。我们不能眼睁睁地看着黄河从我们手中枯竭，因而有许多环境学者纷纷研究治理黄河污染的方案，试图改善黄河的水质。此时但如果没有我们的共同参与，我们这个生命的摇篮――黄河将会走向衰竭和死亡。

如果我们再肆无忌惮地破坏环境，大自然将会给予我们惩罚。那些特大的洪水剥夺了不知多少人的性命，还有由于温室效应，南极北极的冰川融化导致水平面升高，海水淹没了沿海地区，经济损失惨重。难道这不就是最好的证明吗

我的家乡广宁就是靠竹海生态旅游来发展经济的，而今，某些竹林的环境恶乱不堪，让人叫苦不迭。竹海生态游就是我们广宁发展的根，如果根被破坏了，怎能长出茂盛的枝叶、开出美丽的花儿呢

让我们善待人类、善待自然吧！不知大家就是否看过《保护环境可做的100件事》这篇文章。其实，我们能做的事很多很多。如，在植树节栽一盆花、种一棵树；保护野生动物，就是生态得到平衡；珍惜水资源，不要向江河倾倒垃圾；当环保小卫士，此时利用每个绿色纪念日宣传环保意识，让青山常在、绿水长流、泥土永芬芳……这都就是我们力所能及的事情，我们为何不愿意实践呢？

此刻，地球的生态环境加剧恶化，环保警世钟已经敲响了。让我们齐齐加入保护环境的行列，创立一个人与大自然和谐共处的完美未来，让人类与自然生生不息地繁衍下去吧

仔细回顾一下从身边流走的每滴水，在洗碗、洗脸刷牙、洗发、洗澡、冲洗厕所等的时候，可曾想过节约每滴水？在使用电灯、电脑、空调、饮水机等的时候，可曾想过做到环保？——低碳生活是一种非常环保、文明的生活方式，节水、节电、节油、节气等可以帮助我们将低碳生活变为现实。

现在的汽车是作为文明与前进的象征，已经成为人们日常生活中不可缺少的一个重要组成部分，但频繁的堵车，浑浊的尾气使人们在安享汽车带来便捷的同时，更多的是要去考虑汽车给人们带来的污染而产生的严重影响。现在人们不仅是汽车的领有者以及驾驶者，还是制造污染的控制者，所以在开车的时候要避免突然变速，选择合适档位，避免低档跑高速，定期更换机油，轮胎气压要适当和少开车内空调，尽量减少汽车对自然的污染。

夏天，我们在家用空调的时候，不要长时间开着，用一两个小时后就关掉，再开电风扇，这样就可以节省50%的电；在冰箱内放食物时，食物的量以占容积的80%为宜，用塑料盒盛水制冰后放入冷藏室，这样就能延长停机时间、减少开机时间，更节电；用微波炉加工食品的时候，最好在食品上加层无毒塑料或盖上盖子，这样被加工的食品水分就不易被蒸发，食品的味道更美味并且更节电……平时我们勤动手动脑也可以实现“低碳”。一般家庭都有很多废弃的盒子，如肥皂盒、牙膏盒、牛奶盒等，其实将这些废弃的盒子稍加裁剪，就可以轻松将它们废物利用。比如：制作储物盒，可以在里面放置茶叶包或化妆品之类的物品；还可以利用方便面盒、罐头瓶、酸奶盒等制作一盏漂亮的台灯，喝过的茶叶渣，晒干後还可以做成一个茶叶枕头，既舒适还能改善睡眠；普通灯泡换成节能灯，尽量步行、骑自行车或乘公交车出行，随手拔下插头……这些看似不经意的小事都是在为“减碳”做贡献。

我们应该从节水、节电、节油、节气等这些小事做起。

森林是绿的，大地是绿的，天空是绿的，小草是绿的，荷叶是绿的……世界万物都散发出“绿”的气息，而低碳生活就是我们要建立的绿生活，只要我们去行动，就可以接近低碳生活，达到低碳生活的标准。

我们的地球需要我们共同来爱护，让我们从身边的小事做起，珍惜资源，减少污染，让我们建立绿生活，让生活更美好。
