家乡，确切的说是老家山东，那里的年别有一番韵味。似乎家乡的年味每年都来的特别早，一入腊月，我们那里的大家就开始准备过年用的面、油，开始陆续的赶集筹备过年牦肉、包饺子用的调料，炒菜、蒸菜馍豆馍、花糕用的葱、芫荽、粉条、红豆、枣，过油用的鱼等，逢集就去敢，数落着买，生怕落下什么。过了腊月中旬，随着外出打工的亲人挣钱的归来，孩子的放假回来，我们那里的人，家家的妇女就开始蒸菜馍豆馍、花糕，从早蒸到晚，一锅接着一锅，直到把准备的馅子用完为止，外人行走在胡同里就能闻到馍的味，闻味就知道谁家在蒸什么馍，还有那厨房里发出的“亢池、亢池”的风稴声，烟囱上冒着的浓烟，就知道家里的老娘们们在忙碌着蒸这蒸那呢，提早进入年当中，让一年在外打工辛苦的亲人和上学的娃娃提早吃到年的过活，感受一份家的温馨和节日的祥和。这时谁若走亲串门，主人家都会拿出刚蒸好的各种馍，让你吃，让你尝，关系好的临走时还会相送一疙瘩馍；还有我们那里的人除了自己蒸这馍那馍的，还会拿麦子到馍馍店去换几十斤机器馍，以备亲戚来访时，款待客人用，在我的记忆里这种机器馍一直都是小孩子们的最爱。

等菜馍豆馍、花糕等的蒸完，来不得休息，各家就开始过油炸东西了，炸鱼、炸酥肉、咋丸子一直都是我们那的习俗。在这三类里，我唯独对炸红薯丸子情有独钟，记得每年红薯丸子都是排在最前炸，因为稀罕再或是嘴馋的缘故，只要是知道母亲或奶奶要炸丸子了，我那天非得等到吃到红薯丸子了才肯出去玩。按照我们那的习俗，过年了，刚出锅的第一拨丸子需要敬过灶神、财神等后，人才可食用，而我呢，哪里等得了，尾随着母亲敬神的同时，我时不时的捏一个捏一个的，然后把捏到的红薯丸子快速地放进嘴里，烫的嘴直打哈哈，一咬一股热气，当时吃的是那么的硬，且是那么的有滋有味；当然了，我的不守规矩，也不时会遭来母亲的阻止与“抱怨”，说我怎么这么的不懂事，我嬉皮笑脸的，装作没事一样，继续吃呀吃。

炸过东西，过完油，就到了牦肉了，这个是吃肉不香，啃骨头和喝汤香，一家人齐上阵啊！在我印象里，牦肉一般都是在下午或晚上，若是下午的话，晚饭就不用做了，一家人吃些煮好的肉，喝些肉汤就够了。牦肉可不同于蒸馒头，牦肉要用大火一直烧，每逢这时，父亲都会预先劈好木柴，到时只管一个劲地拉风稴和往锅底续劈柴，直烧的锅里“咕嘟、咕嘟地”，散发出扑鼻的肉香味，不过我家里的人都不怎么能吃肉，用母亲的话说就是“我们家的人都不能享福”，煮完的肉，顶多是啃啃骨头，喝喝汤，然后就被母亲把肉捞进了罐子里，放上盐腌了起来，这腌肉能放很长时间不变质，基本等过完年馍、丸子等都吃完了，它还在，那时更是成了小孩子们吃馍的菜、嘴中的福。

最后就到了年关，包饺子，准备除夕的年夜饭。一般饺子都是母亲和嫂子来包，父亲准备柴禾、烧烧锅等的，而哥和我有时也会在母亲、嫂子忙不过来的时候去帮忙轧饺子皮，但大多数时候都是我哥俩贴对联，一个人扶着椅子，一个人站在上面贴对联，早年的时候，家里的对联，包括我们村的很多人家的对联都是爷爷写的，谁家拿红纸上门，爷爷都会一一给写，可惜当时的对联本现在还在，而如今爷爷已不在了，爷爷舞动几杆毛笔半余生，在村里的红白喜事中不知留下了多少墨迹，爷爷，即将过年了，在天国的你可安好！

上完坟回来，一般下午四五点钟了，天还很亮，就有人家开始放鞭炮，下饺子了。在这会，我们那也有一个习俗，那就是向爷爷家送饺子，与叔叔、大爷家互换饺子，进门子间尝尝谁家做的饺子好吃，不过最近几年这种习俗也在慢慢的淡去，有的人家还在送，有的人家已经不在互相送了。早早地吃过除夕饭，大人小孩就到处溜达着玩了，那一长年在外打工，不曾聚在一块的朋友或同龄人，这会难得聚在一块，打打牌、打打麻将等的，娱乐娱乐，或是熬个夜等的，图个大吉大利。而我呢，一般是出去玩会，就回来了，看看春节联欢晚会，看着看着就睡去了。
