When the summer holiday comes, I will be very happy, because my family and I will go to travel. 不同于现代化的大城市，家乡的年味依然洋溢着淳朴的农家习俗。虽不是张灯结彩、通宵灯火，倒也是处处红火，家家喜庆，年味十足。

作为一个现代人，杀鸡杀猪是见不到了，但从小我就听过一句老话——“腊月二十三，糖瓜粘”。

腊月二十三这天，老家的街上，不出百步，就能见一辆卖糖瓜的小车。糖也形形色色，主要以圆球形的糖“瓜”和长方形的糖“块”为主。因为要在上海上学，常常不能赶在腊月二十三前回家，但我总不忘和先走的外婆说一声：别忘了买糖瓜啊，我可就盼着它呢!年年如此。

外婆也着实算是买糖瓜的老手了，小铺主再三推荐，她硬是不理会，专挑瓜形和长条的，这也正符合了我的口味。

糖瓜，顾名思义就是一块“小南瓜”似的麦芽糖：挺着它那小肚腩，鼓绷绷的，让人看着就垂涎三尺，欲罢不能;你别看它们长得白净脸，可粘牙得很，一个不留神，就把牙“搭”了上去。

记得第一次，我不知道糖瓜的粘，一口下去，牙粘在一起，怎么也分不开，可把我急坏了，一旁的外婆却是偷偷一笑。无奈，只得慢慢舔化了。

再来说说长方形的，不同于糖“瓜”，这回，一口下去，真叫嘎嘣脆，又香又甜，色味双全。

受了上回的“苦”，这回我可小心了，一口口慢慢吃。一旁的外婆，又是一阵按捺不住的笑。

我吃着糖瓜，外婆情不自禁地讲起了她小时候过的腊月二十三。

以前，腊月二十三夜里，是要祭灶神爷的：找面平整墙，贴上灶爷的画像，放好供桌，上头放个蜡碗，一旁插上三支香，这就算是备得差不多了。到时候，在蜡碗里放上油，点着了，接着点上香。村里的老妇人们，便会烧起黄裱纸，边烧边说，让灶爷上天后，净说好的，不提坏的，以求来年的平安。待黄裱纸烧净，人们便取一点儿糖粥给灶爷的嘴糊上，算是粘上了他的嘴。最后，烧了灶爷的画像，算是灶爷“上天了”。

想到嘴里甜滋滋的糖瓜，也曾是灶爷的贡品，便禁不住又来了一块。这次，甜中还隐隐透着点骄傲，好歹也是个神仙嘛!

随着时间的推移和时代的变更，祭灶神爷的活动，渐渐没了踪迹，但人们对美好生活的向往，却一代代永远浓缩在这小小的糖瓜中了……

记得六年级那年的暑假，我独自一人回家，在高速公路上望着飞驰而过的车辆，心里惴惴不安。当我爬下楼梯，行至杂草丛生的高速桥底，荒芜一人，只有细碎的虫鸣陪伴着我，脑海中闪过的只有一幅又一幅的恐怖的场景。后来，有了直通的客车，回家就方便了许多。再后来连接镇江大港到扬州瓜州的渡轮也变成了横跨长江的润扬大桥。而如今的我已经留在家乡成为一名普普通通的教师，与家的距离已经不再需要借助火车、客车。

而那一段又一段旅程，从绿皮火车到客车，从渡轮到大桥，不同的交通工具，一次又一次丈量着我与家的距离，而不同的道路让这距离一点点缩短。

高速公路的开放、机场大巴的开通以及即将运行的高铁，宝应的交通正一步步走向便捷快速，那个曾经贫穷的县城也已经变了模样。离乡的游子们也不断地回到这边哺育过他们的土地，挥洒他们的汗水，书写属于他们的灿烂篇章。

春天，有一个美丽的季节，大地换上了新装，万物从沉睡中苏醒，小鸟们从遥远的北方匆匆赶来，我从沉睡中慢慢醒来，揉着还未清醒的睡眼，看见了一片绿色的海洋。小草从地里凯旋而归，小花又展示了它那甜美的笑容，家乡的特产——桔子结了，一个个美丽的菊花只要微风一吹，它们便向人们频频点头，许多的桔树也挺直了腰，展示它那美丽的舞姿。

夏天，是一个极其酷热的季节，西瓜好像是特意从土里蹦出来为人们奉献他的累累果实，美丽的桃子也向人们展示它的“镇树之宝”——桃花，桃花一个个芳香扑鼻，科室八里飘香，桃树也用它那瘦小的枝干让人们看得目瞪口呆。当然桔子也不会落后，它结了一个个大小不一的果子，那可不是一般的果子，它的作用可大了。每到夏天，乡亲父老们只要闲着没事，就会上山去摘那果子，因为那一颗颗果子能医治百病，这也不负农民伯伯对它们的栽培吧。

秋天，又是一个农民伯伯欢喜的季节，不但大地换上了一身新装，而且桔子也结了果，“不入梅花寒彻骨，焉得梅花扑鼻香”。桔子结了一个个拳头大小的果实，为农民伯伯增加了快乐，同时也为我家乡的风景增添了一些色彩。秋天虽然非常无味但也有一些其它季节无法比的一些奇特风景，比如飘下来的落叶像一位美丽的少女的空中，翩翩起舞。各种小动物也为粮食发愁，也都出来让人们欣赏它那美丽的特点。

冬天，大地又换上了一片雪白的衣服，天空也下起了点点滴滴的雪，许多大山也穿上了他们迎接新年的新衣，向人们展示它那独有的风光，所有桔树也穿上了新衣，一个个像整装待发的士兵，最有趣的还是可以在一望无际的大海。我和朋友们堆雪人，打雪仗，是多么的开心，可还有一些风光我不会用任何句子描写出来。

我的家乡是多么美丽，大地是多么的爱美。在我记忆中家乡是，比任何地方都美，但有一些风景是被人处处破坏了，已经没有以前的光辉了。

I suppose I saw us and our relationship as aging together, rather like a fine wine. Numbers never seemed important. But the oddest thing happened last week. I was at a stop sign and I watched as you turned the corner in your car. It didnt immediately occur to me that it was you because the man driving looked so elderly and fragile behind the wheel of that huge car. It was rather like a slap in the face delivered from out of nowhere. Perhaps I saw your age for the first time that day. Or maybe I saw my own.

Somewhere along the line, the generation gap evaporated. Age separates us now and little else. We agree on most everything, perhaps because weve learned there isnt much worth disagreeing about. However, I would like to mention that fly fishing isnt all youve cracked it up to be, Dad. You can say what you want about wrist action and stance and blah, blah, blah...

秋天到了，天朗气晴，金风送爽。蓝蓝的天空一望无际，几朵白云有时像几只绵羊。

银杏树的叶子金黄金黄的，像一把把小扇子。风儿吹来，它们就轻轻地飘落下来。最红的要数枫叶了，它的样子也好看，就像我们小小的手掌。当大多数花都凋谢了，只有菊花开得正旺，一朵朵，一簇簇，美丽极了。

农田里，白白的棉花一团一团的，黄黄的豆荚粒粒饱满。高粱乐红了脸，稻子笑弯了腰。果园里，枝头结的柿子，红通通的，像一盏盏小灯笼。架子上挂的葡萄紫莹莹的，让人看着就想摘一串。黄澄澄的梨，红彤彤的枣，咧开嘴的石榴是那样诱人。

秋天的田野可真美呀!五彩缤纷，果实累累。
