山下的田野里，绿油油的。漫步在田埂上，迎着吹来的春风，舒服极了。小溪边，长满了野花野草，红的，黄的，白的，紫的，一齐散发着香味。溪水清澈见底，能清楚地看见水里的鱼儿在欢快地游来游去。

岸边的草丛里，山鸡，小野兔经常在里面嬉戏，玩耍。旁边高大的榕树上，小麻雀在里面搭窝，生儿育女。

我的家乡不仅有迷人的风景，还有令人垂涎的美味。

我们家乡的清蒸鸡是一绝的。只要每逢节日里，每家每户都会煮上一大锅清蒸鸡。那味道，是任何人都无法拒绝的。我经常缠着奶奶給我煮上一盘，奶奶总是顺着我，给我盛上一盘，让我来大饱口福。鸡汤是十分具有营养的，我每次都喜欢用小勺舀上一碗喝一喝。鸡肉是最美味的。奶奶告诉我，鸡肝吃了是可以亮眼的，我十分喜欢吃。

我的家乡还有闻名遐迩的桂子山石柱林，有清香洁白的茉莉花，有“中华一绝”美称的雨花石，有色彩艳丽的农民画。

啊，我爱我可爱的家乡！

我的家在桐城。桐城有座龙眠山，山下有条龙眠河，它是我们的母亲河。我喜欢这条母亲河。

龙眠河四季景色优美。

春天，龙眠河边的柳树抽出了新枝，长出了嫩叶，柳树将它那长长的发辫儿垂到河中，微风轻拂，柳叶翩翩起舞，在岸边的人也情不自禁地伴起舞来。

夏天，翠柳更茂盛了，小木桥上的人们有的坐在凳子上休息，有的急匆匆地走过，还有的则握着鱼竿儿钓鱼。夜晚，蝉鸣蛙唱，仿佛在演奏着美妙的田园交响曲。桥下粉红的荷花在月光下显得格外迷人，让人陶醉，流连忘返。

秋天，五颜六色的菊花争先恐后地开放，红的热烈，白的淡雅，黄的温馨。在河岸两旁的草地上，一棵棵树的叶子变黄了，如同蝴蝶飞舞一般慢慢地地落下来。忽然，眼前一片绿，一朵朵金黄的小花点缀着一棵棵绿树，原来这是桂花树，发出一阵阵沁人心脾的清香。

冬天，不少河流被冰雪冻住了，而龙眠河没有被冻住。正因为它一直奔腾不息，才不会有被冰雪冻住的命运。这奔腾不息、永不放弃的精神，难道我们不该学习吗?

我爱家乡的龙眠河，它不只是一条大河，更是所有桐城人、整个中华民族自强不息的象征。它是一条龙!
