我的家乡在大西北————甘肃。那里的山、那里的水、那里的人……一切都让我十分的着迷，所以我在这里不得不讲讲我的家乡。

我最喜欢的要数家乡的人，我的家乡科技交通十分落后，大家都以农耕为主，那里的人无论大人小孩都有一手务农的技巧，力度呀、准度呀、都把握的十分准确，更重要的是个个都很勤奋。小孩也是很早就下地干活，皮肤被太阳晒的黑黑的。身子也是长的很壮实。因为都是务农人。也没有了勾心斗角，彼此之间都很融洽，也都很信任对方。空闲时也可以去串串门。聊聊天，喝喝茶，柳阴树下或是坐着几个人，说着家里的趣事、种菜的技巧。三五成群的孩子在院子里抽着驼螺：“转呀!抽呀!……牧养的牛羊呼唤着主人，远处的山好象跑过一只野兔，寺院中的风铃也添加了别样的情趣。很大的果圆也不用人看守，路过的人们口渴了摘几个吃是不算偷的。

我的家乡是个非常偏僻的小山区，沿着汉江边的蜀河古镇，顺着南羊山的北山脚，向西行五十余里到了双河镇，再向西有一条河，名叫“西岔河”，入口就是龟蛇相倚，把守着一方形似盆地一样的青山绿水。这条河膀着山，蜿蜿蜒蜒。据说西岔河有九十九条梁，九十九条河沟。河的两岸，是柳树依着河坝，坝内是一弯弯水田。由低往高，散居着农家大小不一的院落。院落后面就是苍翠的青山。看到远山朦朦笼笼的就是羊山原始森林。小时候，我就爱站在门前，在空气清新的早晨，看那羊山顶上的飘雾，看家家屋顶的炊烟，看绿飘带似的溪流从远处旖旎而来，看形似蘑菇形似弯月不同形状的水田，看薄雾中的河流遮着面纱，如羞涩的待嫁新娘。这一方山水总是飘不出我的记忆。

我家也是湖广移民到了这里，听先辈们讲，那时西岔河还是一片没有人烟的原始森林，依河而就，伐木搭棚，垦荒种地，虽然只有几百年的历史，先辈们是从湖北江汉平原带来的先进农耕技术，才使这片处女地成为“世外桃园”。

我家就在西岔河的中游，这里很开阔，在平展的一湾水田的阳面，其实不过是一片小土塬。土塬上有个院落，叫王家岭子。百余间土墙瓦房，就是一个小家族。只有中间留下的徽式建筑庭院才显出昔日的大户痕迹。这所宅院在过去是一处远近有名的王家大院，可惜在上世纪四十年代，毁于土匪的一把大火，烧毁了一个家族的辉煌历史。只有门前的那颗皂角古树，还是那么沧桑地屹立着，经受着春夏秋冬，寒来暑往。
