首先老师必须帮助学生确立这样的观点：英语是主课，不是豆芽课。在小学阶段，不论是老师，学生，还是家长，可能都看重语文，数学的学习。在小学的英语教学中，老师主要是以游戏为主，关键是学校和教育部门对英语的评估不如语文数学那样重视。所以学生普遍认为语文，数学很重要，英语是豆芽课，学英语就跟玩似的。到了中学，仍然主攻语数、理化，依然把英语当副科。一个学生亲口跟我说：我一直都以为初中英语跟小学一样，是豆芽课。我心痛不已。在入学之初，班主任和英语老师都应反复强调英语这一学科的重要性，让学生引起重视，才能为以后认真学习作好心理准备。

学生其实是学校和老师的服务对象，当我们的服务对象有什么正确合理的需要时，我们要千方百计地满足他们。学生的需要不仅是科学文化知识的需要，还包括鼓励，被认可，成就感，帮助，鞭笞等的需要。学生的劳动需要得到认可，要让学生有成就感。当我们发现学生的哪怕一个小小的进步，我们要及时给予鼓励，当我们发现学生学习存在问题时，我们也有责任及时给予指出并帮助他们解决问题。这样，可以更长久地保持学生学习的积极性，避免过早地出现两极分化，放弃学习英语的情况的产生。

九、克服困难，树立理想

初一英语尽管简单，对于学生们来说，还是存在相当的困难。遗忘，枯燥是最大的问题。老师要让学生明白：困难肯定是存在的，但要有克服困难的勇气和决心，每次都努力翻越一个一个的坎，过了一坎，就前进了一步。同时老师要让学生树立远大的理想。为理想而学习英语，不轻言放弃，才会有恒久的动力。

老师要多观察学生，分析学生的作业情况。当学生有困难时，老师要及时发现并给予帮助。在出现较大困难时，老师要和学生讨论，谈心，帮助学生找出解决问题的方法，并和学生一起制订一份可行性计划，并督促学生按时完成。学生只有看见了自己的进步，才更有信心学好英语。

对于学生来说，知识的缺漏容易补救，科学方法和习惯的养成比较难。老师光介绍方法是不行的，还要给予学生必要的，经常的，一定时间的训练，才能取得好的效果。

十、学会使用词典，培养自学能力

大科学家达尔文说：关于方法的知识是最有用的知识。当今的学生在学校不仅要学习文化知识，更重要的是掌握获得知识的方法，以便可以及时更新自己的知识，保证终身的学习和提高。所以老师要在教学的过程中培养学生的自学能力。

在教了字母，音标之后，应该鼓励学生自己拼读，预习单词和课文，不知道意思的单词自己去查词典。初中阶段建议学生使用双语词典，要让学生有意识地去看英文注解。

培养学生自己总结知识的能力，自己总结已经学过的句型，短语。鼓励学生造出自己的句子，用英语表达自己的思想。

现在学英语的渠道很多，学生可以自己选择简单有趣的读物，磁带，光碟，或在网上下载简单的听力，还可以通过网络结交到笔友，在英语网站上学英语。只要正确选择使用这些东西，都可以提高英语，并且会让学英语变得越来越轻松。

Communicating with others is a big problem in daily life. Some people are

easy to talk to oters, but some others not. When you want to talk to someone,

firstly you should find some topics to talk about, but the topics should not

included the privacy,such as age, marriage or wage. Secondly, pay attention to

your attitude that do not make others feel uncomfortable. Comfort is the basic

of communication. Thirdly, pay attention to your body language. Body language

can transmit much information, such as your attitude, manners or something you

do not realize. Finally, focus on your pacing. Dont talk too fast or too

How time flies!The first half semester is over。Looking back,I have achieved much over the term.I have learned how to play football.I have made many good new friends in school.But my biggest gain is that I have improved my English a lot.I can get an A in the English exam now.Whats more,I can speak with others in English fluently.That makes me very happy.

Climbing

Its spring now. The weather is warm and comfortable. Its a good time for hiking. Therefore, my teacher organized a climbing for us. There is a beautiful mountain in my city and its target this time. We took bus there and arrived there at 9 a.m.. After we took off the bus, we started to climb. The mountain is high but the scenery is beautiful. We are so excited that we climbed fast at first. But after a while, some of us were tired,especially girls. They did not want to go on anymore. But some others encouraged and helped them.
