我时常告诉自己要自律自强，不让父母为我的学习和做人烦恼、担忧。我学习很勤奋，成绩也出色。尽管如此，奶奶还是经常向我唠叨，我从来不顶撞她，因为我知道奶奶是为我好。奶奶爱我，我也爱奶奶。一次奶奶高血压病犯了，晕了过去，我惊慌得不知如何是好，我立即镇静下来，心想我是家里的一个小小男子汉，父母不在家，我应该替他们照顾奶奶。于是，我请来邻居，把奶奶送进了医院，我白天上学，夜晚坐在病床边照顾奶奶。五天后，奶奶出院了，高兴得逢人就夸我，她那满是皱纹的脸，常常笑得像一朵盛开的牡丹花。后来，妈妈奶知道这件事后，她夸我长大了，夸我会感恩了，我心里比吃了蜜还甜。
