我的家乡My Hometown

My hometown is Xiamen. I was born there twelve years ago. Now I live in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. Xiamen is a beautiful city that many people visit there. The whole city is clean and tidy. I lived in downtown. It’s near to the port, where is the busiest place, because thousands of people go to the Gulangyu. Gulanyu is a small island. There are many distinctive buildings and paths there. You may get lost in so many paths, but you don’t have to worry. And every path has its own beautiful scenery. I love my beautiful hometown.

时值周末之夜，华灯璀璨。国际货易大厦的正门大厅里，热闹非凡。此时来深圳访问的捷克总理正在物业发展公司副总经理的陪同下，观赏“国贸”的骄傲之一――音乐喷泉。随着贝多芬《命运》交响曲的旋律，喷泉的水花忽落，时上时下。时而轻柔委婉，如少女在轻歌曼舞;时而威武雄壮，象千万匹骏马在奔腾。捷克总理被这壮观景象，不，是被“国贸”大厦，被深圳的繁荣昌盛所吸引。

此时的我也夹在人缝中，倘若在喷泉池边。虽然我听不懂捷克总理的语言，但是，从他的神态、动作，我猜到他一定在赞美什么。于是，我的思绪翻腾起来，许多话涌上我的心头。

谁都知道，如今繁华、美丽的深圳再过去是一个贫穷落后的边睡的小镇，到处是破旧的瓦房，低矮简陋;荒凉的上地，杂草丛生……现在是繁华的罗湖区，再从前仅是一个小小的罗湖村，村里的青壮年大都出外谋生，留下的是一些老弱病残和妇女儿童。

10多年前。改革的春风首先吹到了这片穷乡僻壤，从外省来来了一支工程兵队伍，他们在党的改革开放路线的指引下筹划起建筑第一座摩天大楼――“国贸”大厦。

但没钱，怎么办?他后想尽办法，与各省有关单位联系，积极集资筹款，破天荒没有向国家借货一分钱，全靠自己的努力筹足了资金，并用三天一屋楼的惊人速度，把一栋53层，160米高的大厦建起来了，达到的界建筑先进水平，令国际同行刮目相看。

如今的深圳，已是中外闻名了。单看“国贸”大厦，它是全国最高的楼房之一。大楼内有商场、写字楼、银行和各种公司，真可谓是集多功能于一身的大厦。他吸引着四面八方的商客。虽说“国贸”是一个商业中心，但她也不失为一个旅游胜地，顶屋的旋转餐厅至今已迎送了数以万计的中外游客。从那儿可以鸟敢深圳市容：瞧，罗湖、上涉，那鳞次节比的高楼大厦，似雄奇峥嵘的青峰翠岳奔涌眼底;看，一碧如洗的蓝天下，香密湖娱乐城的过山车似金蛇狂舞，把人们引向奇妙的世界;绿树成阴，笔直宽阔的深南大道，车水马龙，象一条彩色的河流，奔腾着时代的浪潮……高楼实在太多了，人们索性定了个标准，把18把层以上的楼房叫做“高层楼宇”，而这样的“高层楼宇”，自1981年建第一幢起;至今已经有100多幢了。可见深圳的发展是日新月异啊!

如果说深圳十年的发展是一支《命运》交响曲，那么，开拓者的智慧和汗水则是乐曲中一个强劲的音符，而社会主义制度和改革开放政策便是它的主旋律吗?也许，你已把这个旋律默默地记在心里，准备带回国，在捷克的国土上去学着弹奏吧。我低头看着胸前的红领巾，我又想到，我们的父辈已创造第一个人间奇迹，深圳，正期待着我们这一代去创造第二、第三甚至更多的奇迹。让我们这一代去创造设深圳，振兴中华而努力奋斗吧!

My home town is in the center of Xuzhou which was a quiet and beautiful place. In the past, there were many animals. They were lovely and nice. The air was fresh and there were many birds fly in the sky.

Now, the people in Xuzhou are richer than before, so most of people go to work by bus or by underground. Sometimes, they also drive their private cars to work. Many people sell out their old houses and move into new flats.
