在临沂湖南崖小学，有一位深受师生喜爱、众口一致称赞的女教师——刘振荣。自1984年高中毕业后，她怀着对家乡的热恋，凭着对教育的崇敬，坚定信念，满腔赤诚，毅然走上三尺讲坛，一干就是29年。29年来，她全身心扑在教育事业上，一直从事数学教学并始终担任班主任工作，再苦未喊过一声，再累未怨过一句，忠贞不渝地履践着“学为人师、行为世范”的坚定誓言和神圣职责。

她爱校如家、爱生如子，用挚爱赢得了每一位学生的信任与尊敬。无论在班级管理还是课程教学中，她始终坚持以人为本，努力做到因材施教，通过自己个性化的班级管理制度和创新性的教育教学策略，真正做到了“班级里的事，事事有人做;班级里的人，人人有发展。”

她，积劳成疾，在手术后却心系学生，仍然拖着重病未愈的身躯坚持在三尺讲台上。

数学教学，历来是临沂湖南崖小学的强势学科，而刘振荣则一直是学校数学教学领域的中流砥柱。她既勤于钻研新的教育教学理论，又善于总结自身的教育教学经验，在应用实践中不断成长、持续提升，创造了学校乃至全区数学教学中的一个个奇迹，赢得了领导、同事和社会的赞誉。她的课堂从激发学生学习兴趣、培养学生学习习惯入手，目标明确、思路清晰，张弛有度、生动活泼，学生很喜欢，成效很显著，在她曾经连续两年任教的毕业班中，数学优秀率均达100%，她多次获得市、区优秀教学成绩奖，并先后被评为罗庄区优秀教师、优秀班主任、骨干班主任。
