冬天是快乐的。经过一学期的辛苦学习，同学们终于迎来了假期，可以自由安排自己的时间。我不仅可以到同学家串门，还可以有大段的时间用电脑制作我的课件。妈妈说我的课件已经可以和专业人士媲美了!更重要的是，每年的春节都是在冬天度过的。过春节最开心的就是放烟花。一到夜晚，五彩缤纷、绚烂多姿的烟花从四面八方同时响起，预示来年祖国的繁荣昌盛。当然春节期间最高兴的还是从长辈那儿得到压岁钱。我可以用这部分钱买我喜欢的玩具、学习用品，当小富婆的感觉真好!

冬天是生命的起点。虽然树枝光秃秃了，小草枯萎了，冰封湖面，河流也静静的，冬天显得荒芜而寂静，但是你知道吗?新的生命正在此时孕育着，孕育着。是冬天帮助他们不断积聚新的能量，等到来年更好生长。

The day we were looking forward to came at last----a weeks military training began.

During the training, each of us did his part in earnest. We drilled more than six hours a day, though it was very hot at the time.

In the blazing sun, we always tried to measure up to the high standards which were demanded . Sweat streamed down and we wouldnt wipe it off. Olny three days later our faces were tanned.We felt happy and proud of it .

Our platoon officer was a young PLA man, about twenty years old. He was very strict with us during the training and very kind to us afterwards. By talking with him, we came to know not only more information about army life, but also about military affairs.

The military training gave us good discipline. It brought us great happiness, too. Well never forget it.

we have held a discussion about whether it is good or not for a top student to share a desk with a slower student.

some are for the idea. as they know, everyone has strengths as well as weaknesses. although they are not good at lessons, they might do well in other fields like sports or arts. therefore, they can learn from each other, and they may develop a friendship. in addition, top students can help slower ones gain self-confidence by helping them with their lessons, which benefits them all.

however, others don’t hold the same view. they think some slower students are always making trouble, such as keeping talking in class, breaking school rules, which may lead to them forming the bad habits. besides, slower students often ask top students questions, which has a bad effect on their studies.

in my opinion, i’d like to choose to share a desk with a slower student so that we can learn from each other and make progress together.

as a chinese student,studying english is a little difficult.but english is a very important language .its closed to our daily life.so we should study english seriously.

and i meet many questions during the studying-day.like i couldnt speak english well. then i listened many english video tapes.and i was used to talking with foreigner in enlish.its helpful for me.and i also couldnt remember the words.so i read words seriously every day.so that i can spell words quickly now.

and i hope you can teach us more knowledge about how to do it and why to do so, not what to do. it means we can master those knowledge. and im weak in the present perfect tense and the past perfect tense .i hope that you can teach me in more details .
