Next week I would like to go to Kaifeng and parents. Kaifeng has many great snacks, such as steamed buns, sesame seed Gaul. Kaifeng also on the famous Qingming River Park, I think it has to be very beautiful. My parents will be opened to see my uncle and live in his house one night.

August 12,2012 Friday Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will feel happy and become better. Suddenly, an idea hit me that it’s terrible to grow old becuase you have to worry about both your health and others’ opinions. Once again, I make a decision to be a good girl.

The influence Westernization has had on the eating habits of Taiwan residents is reflected in the rapid spread of fast food shops. These restaurants are packed almost every day. Hamburgers, pizzas and spaghetti are increasingly popular. Part of the reason for their popularity is the fondness of local residents for the exotic. Another part of the reason is the clean, simple surroundings and quick service at fast food shops.

Improved education and medicine, which has increased the peoples knowledge of and concern about nutrition, has also brought about changes in eating habits. There is a tendency, especially among young people, to follow high-fiber, low-fat diets. Weight watchers, whose numbers are increasing, are careful about how much they eat as well as what they eat. On the whole, people are more selective about their food.
